I can be pretty picky, and since sewing and upholstery have been a hobby for decades, I know the difference in excellent quality materials and workmanship versus so-so. (Do not confuse them with Bob's Furniture, as they are a complete different business with no connection to Bob's Upholstery.) This is a three generation business, which was started in Marietta in 1960, and their experience and dedication to their customers is evident. Shawna and her sister and daughter have always been delightful and helpful, and kind enough to fix some things that I goofed up (or purchased poor quality at a place a few doors down from their location). They never cut corners on quality, zippers on cushions and pillows are perfectly completed, and they never over or under stuff. You will definitely see the quality here. I've seen them be extremely patient and courteous with less than delightful customers, so that makes my shopping experience more pleasant. I have recommended them to at least six friends who are also happy with their services and products, and one friend drives over from Alpharetta every time she needs something. Bob's Upholstery is moving in a few months so they need to reduce inventory, so now is the time to snag some great bargains!

While I was waiting for my turn, a gentleman came to pick up his machine, and he seemed very happy. I did ask the sales lady, how much it did cost and the price seemed reasonable. Of course, every service price is based on the additional parts and labor needed. So, I will definitely give it a try. Seems like it will take few weeks to get your sewing machine back, but I'm sure it will be worth it.

After receiving it, I specifically asked about repainting/color restoration, and they confirmed in writing that it had been repainted. I immediately requested a return and documented the bag's condition before sending it back. After receiving the bag, they accused me of damaging and withheld approximately 50% of my refund, about $1,300. I had to escalate the matter and ultimately involve my financial institution to recover the remainder of my money. Luxury buyers beware: ask specifically about repainting, refinishing, or restoration and document everything. Based on how this transaction and return were handled, I would not purchase from this business again.
