This was my first time sitting and ordering at this location and it definitely didn't disappoint! The service was quick once I placed my order for a usual large latte and I secured comfy chair spot by a window. If you are looking for cozy seats (like I like) to do your work, this is the spot for you. I'd say the cafe was split 50/50 with half being wooden chairs and the other half being leather or fabric cushioned chairs. I was able to do my work very efficiently, as the noise and music levels were kept to a respectful volume! I wish the latte I ordered came in a "for here" mug but the paper worked all the same. I loved the vibe of this place and would love to come back solo or with a friend!

I used to love this place. It has comfy chairs, good coffee, good wifi, and plenty of outlets. They just started charging for parking. The first 2 hours are free, but it's rare that I'd want to go to a coffee shop for less than 2 hours.

We came here to spend some time to have a nice cup of coffee with a beautiful view. The atmosphere is very laid-back and relaxed. The person behind the counter was very helpful and gave me some pointers of some different places to visit in the Decatur area since I'm new here, as for the coffee, it is traditionally made fresh coffee. I got a mocha with oat milk and it came with a frothy heart on top. The prices are reasonable. Overall very nice vibe with great views and a lovely coffee to sip on on a nice fall day with traditional holiday music playing.

Dashed in to work while I waited to go to an appointment in the area. The coffee shop is located in downtown Decatur but, thankfully has a parking lot best to the shop with ample spaces. The shop is a nice size with different seating options ranging from co-working tables and sofa areas. Though a nice size, it does get pretty busy which makes the place fill up fast. I grabbed a holiday speciality, the Brown Sugar Rosemary Latte. After a short wait and snagging a seat, I was able to enjoy my drink. The drink was delicious and I ended up spending about an hour and a half at the cafe.

Scratch that, I'm not sure if I want to come by again for their coffee on my own volition. I got their peppermint mocha, one of their holiday drinks. The staff was nice and friendly when taking orders and making drinks. They ask if you want whipped cream with it, but it tasted like a regular coffee, no hints of peppermint or chocolate. It was warm and had a cute dollop of whipped cream, which was nice. The only way I could drink it was I added a few peppermint mint candies to it for that minty flavor, and it tasted way better.

At the time that I went here, it was extremely warm, so I stopped by and ordered a dark chocolate chip frosted goat, and it was a good, nice refreshing drink! However when my Dad's drink came out, they apologized for not making it as good as she thought it could have been due what I believe was an error, and they apologized and gave us a free token for any drink, the drink tasted pretty good anyway, and she was super nice. The cleanliness is amazing, not one piece of trash anywhere, and hardly any crumbs. Awesome place!

    12 oz package of coffee

Dancing Goats has very good fresh roasted coffee. There are two things I don't like: the retail price of Kaldi 12 oz Dancing Goats is $14.99 at Whole Foods and $16.99 at Dancing Goats Coffee Bar. Second, I bought a whole bag of beans in a pure retail transaction. Cashier only had to scan the bag and yet I was asked to "tip the employee" for the transaction. I resented choosing the 20% tip which added another $3.50 to my transaction. I could have saved $5.50 by purchasing it at Whole Foods!

3.7/5 Food: Came on a Friday afternoon to try them out since I was in the area and have seen multiple locations. I ordered the 16oz iced white chocolate matcha latte with almond milk and a slice of banana bread. The matcha was very disappointing, it lacked the white chocolate flavor even after asking for it to be "extra sweet". I also could not tell if they actually used almond milk, as it kind of had a thick consistency like it was made of oatmilk or whole milk. For $17 (plus tip) I truly expected more. However, the banana bread was phenomenal, i could go back for that alone! Service: I was greeted upon walking to the register. I was very indecisive at first and the cashier and other worker were extremely helpful in answering any questions I had. While also making some suggestions, which I appreciated because the banana bread was a hit. Ambiance: Very nice sized coffee shop with decent amount of seating inside and out. So there's plenty of places to sit and work on your laptop or enjoy a drink with friends. Overall: I am unsure if I will be back. But if I do it will definitely be for the banana bread and maybe a different drink.

Popped in and was greeted with a warm welcome. I must say, the service is exceptional! There's many options to choose from, however I was slightly disappointed that they did not have any matcha. Therefore, I substituted matcha for Hojicha sparkling lemonade. It wasn't bad, just not my preference, but I was open to trying something new. Also, ordered the quioa, kale, broccoli bowl which was delicious! Another bonus, is the parking lot, and the ambiance of this location. If you're in the area, give it a try!

$7.18 for a 12oz matcha latte is crazy
    Nic R.

Huge cafe, clean bathrooms, nice workers, and lots of work space with a medium to loud setting. The drink I got was their matcha mint strawberry latte which was new in their menu. I got a 12oz. for $7.18 so you could say this place is expensive. The taste was good though but $7.18 for a small drink is crazy. Otherwise, I only plan to come here if I'm trying to impress somebody with adventurous taste buds.

Nice atmosphere. Not a lot of seating for a family, more community seating and random areas facing the parking lot. You have to microwave your own pastries and my husband got an extra hot latte but still had to microwave it, it was not even warm. The special brown sugar rosemary latte was tasty. My only big concern was the person taking our order had dog or cat hair all over her sweatshirt and she was getting our pastries. She was very friendly but baristas seemed annoyed.

Superb service and even tastier Coffee! I wish i could remember the kind person that took our order, so kind! Our order ranged from a White chocolate mocha(extra shot), Peppermint mocha, the featured special drink(iced) and a Hot chocolate. We will return!

    iced strawberry matcha

I was really excited to try dancing goats because I had heard good things about it from several people. We went around the afternoon and there were quite a few people in line. After waiting in line, I approach the register and the cashier asks if I cut in line. I was standing with a friend the entire time and didn't cut anyone off so I was very confused. He was very rude. I ordered an iced strawberry matcha and the really nice woman who gave my drink told me that they had run out of strawberry syrup but that there was some still in my matcha. My matcha tasted really good just wish there was some more strawberry in there. The shop itself wasn't very cute and kind of felt like a knock off barnes and noble coffee shop, but I did enjoy my drink. Maybe next time I'll go to a different location.

Location and Parking Perc has a few locations, I have been to the location in Tucker, I am currently writing this review while at the East Lake location, which is located at the intersection of Hosea Williams Drive and Second Ave. There are a few spaces to park on the street but there is also a parking lot with plenty of free spaces. Venue and Atmosphere From the first time I stepped in to Perc, they had me. From the bright colors of the coffee bags, to the airiness of the space and the great playlist (think Snoh Aalegra, Thee Sacred Souls, and Cleo Sol). At the East Lake location there is plenty of seating inside, and also outside seating, which I opted for both times that I came, gotta enjoy this good weather right? Food and drinks I had the same thing both days, the Good Times Latte with a little extra syrup and the Crunch Wrap. I am not being dramatic when I say that the Crunch Wrap is hands down one of the BEST breakfast items I've had at any coffee shop I've been to. That probably sounds like hyperbole, but at one point I was going to a new coffee shop every week, so I promise it's not. It's eggs, cheese, hash browns, your choice of sausage or bacon (can't go wrong with either), and their special Perc sauce wrapped into a tortilla and griddled to perfection, and from the first bite to the last perfection it is. The latte is made with their in house vanilla lavender syrup and it is just the perfect amount of sweetness that I like. Service Service is fast and friendly, and they will complement your outfit, so wear something cool. Verdict If coming back twice in a row isn't an indicator that I plan to be a regular here then I'm not sure what is lol. Come here for the coffee and food, stay for the vibes. I know I will! Until next time!

The…read moreCrunchwrap was $9, and the combination of egg, hash brown, cheese, and their special sauce wrapped inside a toasted tortilla was delicious. Everything worked really well together, and I can definitely understand why it gets so much attention. I also tried one of their seasonal iced coffees for $6.50 that was inspired by a root beer float. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it was so good! It actually reminded me of a root beer float while still tasting like coffee, which made for a fun combination. Customer service was great. The cashier was friendly, welcoming, and answered all of my questions while I was deciding what to order. The coffee shop itself has a casual, comfortable atmosphere with plenty of seating. I could easily see myself coming here with my laptop and getting some work done. My only little complaint was that it was VERY cold inside, so I'd probably bring a sweater next time! Parking was also a plus. There's street parking available as well as plenty of parking in the shared lot, so finding a spot wasn't an issue during my visit. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at PERC. The Crunchwrap lived up to the hype, my seasonal coffee was delicious, and the service was friendly. My only hesitation is the pricing. At $9 for the Crunchwrap and $6.50 for the coffee, I thought both were a little pricey for what they were. I enjoyed everything enough that I'd still come back, but the value keeps this from being a five-star experience for me.

Rebel Tea House and the shops on the block got it right with the free two-hour parking deck, which honestly was the first thing that drew me in. I'm no stranger to bubble tea or fruit teas, but it was my first time here and I wanted to try something different. The woman at the register was incredibly helpful.
