I've been to Paradise three times as it is near my job. The massages themselves were okay...very lazy. All three. Didn't really feel like a real massage, more like they were just rubbing oil on me. But what upset me the most was that two out of the three times (the 1st and 3rd visit) the masseuse made a sad/disappointed face when I gave her a tip. The first time was for a 60 minute massage and I tipped $15. The third time was for a 90 minute massage and I tipped $20. Not sure what they were expecting for such a lack luster massage with no bells or whistles. So I think I'll pass from now on.

This is not conventional massage for relaxation, however. This is more like hands-on physical therapy. If you're familiar with Active Release Technique (ART), this is similar. A major difference is that a chiropractor who introduced me to ART would use it for only a few minutes and seeing Rhonda for therapy lasts at least an hour. I'd recommend her particularly for athletes (she's worked on professional athletes) and those with low back pain.

Twice she has eliminated very painful back pain in a 90 min session - she concentrates every second of the massage on you, and is very compassionate as an added plus. While I still highly recommend Cloud Nine's Maplewood site, those living farther West can book at the O'Fallon site with Taylor with strong confidence - Cloud Nine still receives my highest possible recommendation!
