I returned to this salon 6/11 around 4:30 to have a French tip/dip removed and replaced. I didn't have an appointment, but I was able to see the same tech that did my manicure in May. Unfortunately, my request to "replace this" did not result in French tip/dip and when the tech told me that I needed to say "French tip" specifically, we both recognized that there had been a communication failure. The fix I was offered was white gel over the dip which I accepted due to time constraints. Results were predictable: 4 of 10 nails failed within 48 hours. Be very, VERY careful communicating with techs at this salon. They do good work, just be sure they do what you want BEFORE they start. read more

UPDATE: Jason, I know a lot of things fact in. But my nails have not lasted 2 weeks. The things that you mentioned are not a factor for me. I am unhappy with my nails, not the shop. I am unhappy that they won't stay on for an entire 2 weeks. I want to start off by saying that everyone that works there are super nice and accommodating. I've been there 5 or 6 times. I get the dip on my nails. Each and every time I've had nails break/come off. I loved the nails when they were first done but it's a hassle going back to get them fixed each time. Also I'll say that for the first 4 or 5 times they fixed the nails and not charge me, I was surprised but super happy. The last time I went, July 4, 2025, again because of broken nails and it was also time to have them done. They charged me full price, didn't discount for broken nails that is an occurrence each time. I loved this salon, even referred my friends, but I can't keep going and having them fall off EACH time. Vibe is good, they are very nice and the shop was very clean and cute. read more

They look like I need a fill already, as they are not to my cuticle. There are bubbles on the nails. They got some kind of product all over my fingers that I can't get off. Ok so I thought this place would be good because when i walked in they immediately got me in a chair. I got a gel pedicure and I wanted a full set of acrylic nails. Pedicure was fine but I asked her to do a third coat because the color was opaque and the polish was running out but she didn't anyway i had hope for my nails. Well here's the downside , the shaping is really off and not sharp at all. I asked for acrylic nails and the tech started to dip my nails and i told her this is not what i wanted and she said it was the same thing. Not true obviously. Polish really streaky and they tried use a warm towel for my pedicure but the towel smelled horrible so i declined. only go here if you are super desperate but you could really just get press ons and paint your own toes. I have been going to think pink nail salon for over a year now. All I can say they're unreliable. I used to go and always book an appointment with V but unfortunately she left in August and I have been struggling to get consistent service since then. Last time I went I found another technician that I really liked and booked a follow up appointment with him. When I went in for my appointment today he was working on someone else and I was told he was not available for me. Now the woman who did my nails was super nice but she did not do my nails the way I like them as the previous person who I had made an appointment with did. Also she cut me a few time and I left the salon bleeding. Now I should have asked if I could come back later because the tech I wanted was just sitting after he was finished. In 2019 I went here post getting engaged to "treat myself." I loved the environment, the complementary shoulder massage with my mani, and the tech who did my nails. I felt the cost was good for the service I received and would have given 5 stars. This year I went to treat myself after having my second kid and called ahead to book a pedi and full set. The nail tech who did my pedi was kind but very slow, which depending on your thoughts could be a good or bad thing, I didn't mind. Then we get to the full set with gel polish, of which I am harassed out of for dip. Eventually caving I show the tech a photo of the look I want and she says she can do that then proceeds to do the fastest, most mediocre mani I have ever gotten. Walks away multiple times help people waiting which I can over look if I didn't feel like she was rushing my service. My nails are thick and no where near the length or color I wanted, by the time she was finished I didn't even want to mention it because I was so put off by her attitude that I just wanted to leave. All in all, this place is not worth the money unless you like being bullied into something you don't want. This was my go to spot in STL for a few years. There have been issues here and there but nothing unforgivable until a couple of weeks ago. I did offer them the opportunity to make it right, but all they did was the bare minimum. Specifics: I brought DD on Super Bowl Sunday. She received a full set of dip nails on Sunday. The nail technician rushed through the job to get to another client. She ended up with nails that were a different color from what she picked and she did not like them. She inquired about changing the color but was informed that she would have to get a whole new set. Due to the nature of applying dip powder, this part is understandable. However, by Thursday morning, a mere 4 days after the full set application, a nail broke; an attestment to the workmanship done (or not done) by the nail technician. Fast forward to Friday, 18Feb. I dropped off my daughter to get her nail fixed. She decided to change the color and pay for a new set of dip nails. Not only was she charged full price, with no compensation for the horrid work done on the original set, but to add insult to injury, 1- the SAME nail technician who messed up the first set was sent to do the new set; 2- this girl did yet another rush job, trying to hurry to her next client; 3- my daughter's nail look HORRIBLE! A sloppy job, dull finish, and black nail polish all over her fingers! Seriously, a 2 year old could do a better job of coloring between the lines. (See the newest photos) Stephanie emailed saying they'd fix it. This is an almost 2 hour roundtrip drive for me. I finally made time to come back. Jason initially tried to make excuses saying DD wanted to change the color which is why she was charged for a full set the second time. I reminded him that the girl did a crap job, and maybe DD didn't articulate that, but they could clearly see the broken nail and still offered no compensation for it. He sat DD down without asking what she wanted and just started filing away. She's timid and didn't speak up until I gave her a little push at which time he said she should've said something before he started. No he should've confirmed what she wanted since he was supposed to be "fixing" it! The end result? Nails look like trash. More nicks and notches in the polish, bottoms look transparent. This wasn't a fix at all. This is all so unacceptable. In essence, we were NOT compensated for the 2 horrible prior mail sets for which she paid full price for BOTH. We were not treated like valuable customers, and after nearly 5 years I'm just appalled. I have no plans to return. read more

I never want to bash a business that you can tell is trying but it's horrible that they have people working that clearly are not trained. It's taken me awhile to grow out my nails and get them strong after taking a long break from getting my nails done. I just moved to St. Charles and haven't been able to find a decent place to get my nails done. I came in for a gel removal and manicure and the woman wheeled up a dirty cart with tools. She had on gloves with pieces of cotton and nail polish on them. The first thing she did was cut my nails before taking off polish and took a decent amount off after I've been growing them out. Then she started filing with the drill and I told her if possible I'd like to have them soaked off. She got out a bowl and filled it with asetone, then when my nails soaked for a minute went right back to drilling. I've never felt so uncomfortable and left in the middle of a service but I said I would pay for the "removal" and I was ready to leave. It's sad to keep finding places that have no regard for the health of your nail. Had to go to Walgreens after to buy materials to properly soak off the polish. If anyone sees this and could comment with a place they recommend that would be great!!! read more

Completely rushed through, too many layers of polish & after a couple of days, my nails are already chipping & an entire portion of polish came off one nail. I am not rough with my hands at all. I'm very disappointed. It seems as though the owner is only worried about getting customers in & out. I've noticed that if a nail tech is taking too long with a customer, he starts rushing them. They offer a rewards card where if you pay with cash, after a certain amount, you'll get money off your next service. I had a couple of marks on my card, but the last time I was there, my nail tech never gave it back. Since I don't plan on going back there, I didn't make a big deal out of it. Very disappointed.... Wanted to stop in and see what the hype was about and the experience was the worst in nail spa service I've had. First, we went Easter weekend ,which I expected to be busy so that was not an issue but the customer service was non-existent. I came to get dip and had a beautiful holographic dip on still intact and was questioned if it was acrylic after repeatedly saying no. I requested just soaking and avoid the drill and they still used it without hesitation. After picking the color, the nail tech applied and completed with 5 nails looking splotchy and uneven and the nail tech couldn't fix it so another lady had to complete the job. In addition, asked repeatedly for stiletto shape and got almond ( huge difference). Also, this is not a comfortable environment, yelling, don't initiate conversation and have inappropriate conversations about business in front of customers. The manager was yelling at a worker about stealing as she yelled back and it lasted at least 45min. Nothing therapeutic about this place, I left with a headache and anxiety. Lastly, my daughter requested acrylic nails and the nail tech told her to do dip and I explained that we have tried and the oils in her nails doesn't allow dip to stay and she said, "whatever"??? Excuse me? She also hurt my daughters cuticle bed and she jumped and the nail tech didn't even mention it nor apologize. To top of this crazy experience a nail tech complimented my daughters nails and apologized for the drama while touching her still wet nails (we didn't have energy at this point to complain). Lastly, I understand and respect different cultures, but they didn't speak to the customers overall just themselves and the only time she spoke intentionally to my daughter and I in English is when we decided to talk to ourselves she jumped in our conversation assuming we were talking about them when we were discussing another establishment which made us even more uncomfortable. Overall, Just poor service, poor communication, poor nail technique, poor business and pricing was a bit much for the job that was done on my nails. We won't be visiting again. I need a more knowledge, professional and therapeutic environment, as a I work too hard to be stressed on my day off. FYI: We still left a generous tip smh.... Hopefully things improve. read more

Came in with a friend for a mani/pedi. Recently went to another nail salon and was looking for somewhere to go for my wedding nails. Rather regret coming here. The pedicure was a little rough but ok but the man doing my nails didn't use foam toe separaters but rolled and tied paper towel around my toes! I didn't want new polish on my finger nails and he seemed very confused by that. He took my old polish off with remover and then pulled out a drill. I had no idea why but he ground off the top layer of my nails (not the ends but the top of my entire nail!!!). I should have stopped him because my nails are REAL, not acrylic. They're now slightly sore (hard to describe a dull feeling) and a quick Google search says he shouldn't have done that because it can damage the nails! He also didn't know what "natural" shape meant and could only offer round shaped nails. My friend's manicurist only knew square shape. WTH? My station was very dirty as well with dust from other clients' nails and whatnot. Yuck! read more

I took my granddaughters here to get manicures twice. Within an hour of getting home the "polish" just fell off. Just like it was little pieces of plastic. I called them back after the second time and they said to bring them back in and they would redo it for free. When I went back they charged me 11 dollars again and refused to honor what they said. Their children's manicure chairs are completely worn out and the vinyl is all peeling off. Not something I would expect in an upscale shopping center. Don't waste your money.
