Nice owners and great food. It is the best in Waynesboro. The pizza is very affordable but it's easy to tell that they didn't cut corners

Because in here you can get burgers and jalapeno poppers and bacon cheese fries and wing dings and Hawaiian pizza and sweet tea and every other sort of dive-bar food. And your kids can have grilled cheese with fries, or mac and cheese, or cheese pizza. Because we shouldn't, not even for a culinary moment, subject your kids to any cultural experiences beyond what Fishersville, VA can provide. Now there is an obscure law in Virginia, that says that "al dente" is some sort of Communist plot and not a way to cook pasta. As a result, just like every other Italian restaurant within 500 miles, the pasta is overcooked into a flabby, submissive state. You show that pasta who's boss, Virginia. The tomato sauce, as well, said nothing besides just tomato sauce; and the meatballs were more balls than meat. The wines come in Cabernet and a couple other colors, clearly decanted from boxes just minutes ago. I am not a picky fellow, but I just couldn't eat it. It was all just calories. I give two stars gladly for the help, who were just as polite as pizzeria pie, and talked all sorts of kindnesses to us from beginning to end. Understand: these are very sweet people running this place. But authentic Italians: please just don't eat here. You will be really sad and angry if you ignore this advice.

Even though I was told they were busy, the delivery time was totally reasonable and I have no complaints. I ordered the chicken parm with pasta and a house salad. Food was well prepared, tasty, and portions were quite generous all around. Pasta was well cooked, sauce was good and well seasoned, and the chicken cutlets well prepared. I think my only real quibble would be the amount of cheese blanketing the chicken, but I might also be that rare bird that doesn't like a lot of cheese? Salad was good, but I think it would be improved by using mixed greens instead of iceberg and fresh olives instead of canned. That said, my meal was a welcome treat after a long day of driving and I will happily order from NBP again soon. I look forward to picking my way around their menu in the future and will definitely be trying some pies!

We had a large party and it was on their prime rib night…read more Drink orders were first, and it took an exceptionally long time to get our orders. It wasn't very crowded, maybe 6 or 7 other tables with 2-4 people each. You had to pre-order your prime rib to ensure they had one for you. Not wanting the prime rib, I ordered the pork chop dinner along with the two sides. They were out of pork chops. They asked what else I would like, I asked if they would do the prime rib at the pork chop price, about a $15 difference. They (the server) said no. The only other choice was sandwiches or a shrimp scampi. I didn't want either, so I just asked if I could get the sides instead (a baked potato and asparagus). She said she would put the order in. When the food came out, all I ended up with was my appetizer (6 oysters Rockefeller). I asked about the side and was told by yet another waitress that they don't do that. Three different waiters/waitresses. No manager ever came over. Way over priced (1 shrimp scampi -$32, one half Caesar salad - $6, one half order (6 anorexic) oysters Rockefeller-$19, 2 good old fashions - $30 plus a mandatory 20% gratuity. I still had to stop on the way home to get something to eat. Poor management and exorbitant pricing makes for a poor business model. But I guess the members get a pretty steep discount so they gouge the non-members to keep the doors open. Not likely to go back and would definitely NOT put my name on any kind of recommendation for this place. Spend your money elsewhere, anywhere, just not here.

Servers were friendly. Food is very good. Great big television to watch sports in the bar.read more
