I got the mixed seafood over gluten free pasta in scampi sauce. Seafood was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately gluten free pasta was grainy. Food is awful! My family and I ordered chicken Marsala and there was no sauce. The dish consisted of over cooked pasta and oily unseasoned mushrooms with 4-5 ounces of chicken with a white soggy breading. It was unedbile. we also ordered the tri colored pasta rings, also inedible and unseasoned. The cheese pizza has a red sauce that was not blended with chunks of tomato with the skin on it that my daughter picked off. I do not recommend this as an option and we will definitely never go back. A waste of time and our money. The owners need to find someone that knows how to cook. read more

They offered large portions and had a great menu selection. After 20 minutes the pizza looked amazing but the vegetables were undercooked. My husband and I came here for dinner. Cute little restaurant, casual vibes which was nice. We both got the spaghetti with meat sauce and 2 meatballs. Pasta was good, the sauce tasted a little tangy but not bad. The meatballs were really good! For dessert, I got the tiramisu and my husband got the fried chocolate cheesecake. Both were yummy. This a great little intimate spot!! My family had a dinner for 7 here on Sunday and it was absolutely fantastic. We tried the baked spaghetti, seafood lasagna, the original salad, and manicotti. If I could give a lower review, I would. We've been to Micali's Trattoria before and had an ok experience. Slow service and decent food, not great. We were expecting the same when we went last night for a family celebration that was ruined by the rude and really bad server, Melissa. It was over an hour until we got our food and there were only 8 tables occupied, hardly a busy rush for a Saturday night in a restaurant. After talking with owner, he finally brought our food, and nine of the dishes were hot. The server had abandoned us. The food, which normally is ok, was horrible. I don't know how an Italian restaurant can screw up chicken parm but they did. I had the chicken marsala. I'll post a pic. It was horrid. it had two tiny pieces of chicken slightly bigger than a tablespoon. it looked like they opened a can of mushrooms and dumped it all on top. The sauce was nowhere near marsala. It had a splash of the wine but it was more like water. No garlic flavor. When it came to me it looked like canned dog food. It was not appetizing at all. I ate the two chicken nuggets and some spaghetti and quit. I've had this dish before and it was ok, nothing like what was served. Everyone else in our party didn't finish their meal because of quality. We left hungry and literally went to Dairy Queen right after just to satisfy the hunger. The owner did come talk to us and knew our displeasure but didn't even offer an apology. It was as if he didn't care whether we ever came back. We won't. On top of that, they overcharged us by adding a side we neither ordered or received. Then had the gall to add a gratuity to the bill. We took that off. I don't tip rude behavior and poor service. If you act like you don't want my business, you won't get it. Everyone has a bad day but even the good days weren't great here. So when we get treated rudely, wait over an hour to get lukewarm, poor quality food, and overpriced food, I don't ever come back. I was reasonable but had the worst dining experience of my life. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PATRONIZING THIS RESTAURANT. There's a better Italian restaurant a half mile away and a great Mexican restaurant two blocks away, Do not eat here. read more

Went here with my family for some dinner and was very disappointed by the service and quality of the food. We had to remind our server three times what we had ordered. I had ordered the chicken cacciatore, the pasta was not strained enough and extra water was on my plate. My wife and I have been here a couple different times in the last few months. We were just there a couple of days ago, and the time before that was probably 3 months prior. So far this place has been great! Unfortunately they don't have the help that they should. So you do need to be somewhat patient and understanding of that. Both times we've went the same lady waits on every table in there. It's really amazing. She's an extremely hard worker. We've been impressed both times we've been there to see how well she balances everything. I've also never seen her write anything down, and from what I can tell everyone's order comes out perfectly. I truly tip my hat to her for the incredible job she does. Of course I've seen the hostess and cook in the back lend a hand when they can also. When it comes to great service you're at the right place. The food so far has also been great! Cooked to perfection. I can't get off the pizza, and my wife has ordered the baked spaghetti once, and most recent the chicken parmasean. Which she's loved both. They give you quite a bit so don't be surprised if you end up needing a box at the end. I've heard quite a few people brag about their desserts, too. Unfortunately I've been too full to try any of them haha. This place has a great charm about it, and a nice cosy atmosphere. I do hope more people support this business because places like this are exactly what this valley needs to stick around. I went to Micali's in Stuart's Draft ,Virginia on Sunday night around 6 pm ,my experience was absolutely incredible. I got Italian blossom pie ,and for the table to share , we got chicken wings ,and cheesy fries ,the fries was hot crispy and cheesy and a good amount of flavors ! My dish ingredients from my knowledge had mozzarella cheese mushrooms inside ziti pasta noodles least I think . Pepperoni on the outer edge of the dish it's was fabulous ,a wonderful culinary art piece , enough said about the food ,and beverages. The service was okay but it's not their fault I think are short staff and need more help ! They are polite people that work there though , also it's so clean inside and outside the restaurant ! I enjoy the Christmas decorations ,and such , I adore how they have Italian flag ,and United States flag as well . It's pretty neat that they included pictures of Italy ! And Italian soccer team or for rest of the world calls it Futball or football they also had local team mostly Stuart's draft soccer jerseys and American football ,and I think basketball to and that's make sense since the restaurant is in the heart ,middle of Stuart's draft Virginia they need to lease a bigger location in the future so they can have more space to seat guest ,and such and to conclude my story, I think their menu is to big it's must be difficult for their line cooks to remember all that information !!? read more

I was so pleasantly surprised with this place! The reviews on Yelp were harsh, and I almost didn't order delivery because of all the negativity. But I'm so glad I gave Scottos a chance! They delivered in a timely manner, and the order was accurate. I ordered a large with specialty toppings, and they were so generous. It was $1.99-$2.50 per topping, and the extra charge was worth it for the amount they gave. Everything was delicious from the toppings to the sauce to the crust. I usually only like thin/New York style pizza, but the pizza crust at Scottos was still yummy enough to eat the crust. If you like sausage, get that as a topping. They use the legit kind with fennel seed. If you plan to add a lot of toppings, opt for one of the specialty pizzas to save a little money. read more

I being Italian as well I'm a big critic if it isn't. This is by far the best restaurant in Stuarts Draft for Italian food. I'm Italian so garlic there's no such thing as too much, the pizza is as close as it gets to New York style. I've tried Pizza all over and I got to tell you so much hoo-ha about having New York style pizza and honestly you guys haven't tried New York style pizza if you think anything here comes even near to what this is. Staff on the phone was incredibly rude when order was placed; when asked to split the cost of breadsticks she replied "Its 5.99 if you split it among yourselves it is $3 a person you know?" Thanks I can do math we didn't have cash to split it hence why we were asking for it to be split so we could use credit cards. Ordered a "large" caprese salad and literally got 3 slices of tomato and 2 slices of mozzarella cheese. Friend ordered a greek salad where the to go box was not even half full of lettuce and "bowl" of soup that was about the size of a 8oz kids juice. We called to complain about the prices and small portions. Owner asked "are you an adult person?" and attempted to explain to me food prices you would get at the store for mozzarella!!!
