This review should have ZERO stars. In January 2017 Dr. Bank performed corrective surgery on my left foot. I had previously had a bunionectomy that was done incorrectly by another Dr. And I ended up with an even worse bunion and neuropathy. When I saw Dr. Bank I asked if he could fix both the bunion and the nerve damage and he assured me that he could. Well I didn't think it could get any worse than after that 1st surgery, but I was soooo wrong. I should have picked up on the red flag when Dr. Bank's hand was shaking as he was marking on my foot where the incision would be. Addionally, I was given anastesia during the surgery, but woke up in the middle of the procedure which was one of the scariest things I've had happen. While I wasn't able to open my eyes, I could feel the pressure on my foot and luckily I could speak so I said I was awake and they gave me more of the sedative which put me back under. Afterward I told the nurse that I couldn't believe that had happened and she told me I shouldn't ever talk about it to anyone. At any rate, Dr. Bank ended up over correcting the bunion which has forced my big toe over to the left, the bunion is now bigger than it ever was and the pain on the pad of my foot from the neuropathy is constant and persistant. I can't even stand or walk barefoot without a surge of pain and if I'm in shoes they have to be flat and wide and even at that, I can only walk around for a short period of time before the burning pain kicks in. I've included two pictures, one is from about a week after I had the surgery by Dr. Bank. And the other was taken today where you can see how much worse it has gotten over time. It seems that since I first had the procedure my big toe has shifted even more and I'm concerned that it will only continue to get worse. I couldn't be more disappointed with Dr. Bank and I hope he leaves his practice soon so that no one else has to endure what I have. He should truly be ashamed of himself and what he considers to be a reputable podiatry practice. read more

I was so excited to meet Dr. Bank... and boy was I let down! Was not the least bit happy with the service or care I received. I feel as though Dr Daniel Banks was cold and a bit of a jerk. Seemed like he must be "impressed" by the severity of a condition in order to give you any semblance of feeling that he actually cares. He was short, rude, and gave the impression he had more important things to do. He asked me about medical history and walked out of the room when I was mid-sentence listing the procedures I had done. His trainee, Dr. Patel, seemed to be the better and nicer of the two doctors. The impression I got... was that he absolutely couldn't care less about me, my concerns, my medical history or my pain. I wont ever be back... if you cant even pretend to care... than I don't care about your $600 orthotic insoles or don't give a $h!t attitude. I will find a doctor who cares. Skip this guy and try someone else. read more

Excellent doctor, the best podiatrist I've been to. knowledgeable took time with me and got to the root of the problem. I didn't have to wait for an appointment, he saw me right away. I was in and out and didn't have to wait at the office. The staff was very nice. Highly recommended. read more

We have been going to Dr. Dan Banks for the past 8 years and he is AMAZING! My son Skyler had to have a major operation and Dr. Banks performed the plasty lengthening 8 years ago. Dr Banks has taken care of ALL of the post follow up visits, therapy reviews, cast removal, custom orthopedics and overall leg and foot health care for Skyler. We had a checkup yesterday and when we were driving home... Skyler said and I quote " Dr. Banks is the best dad! He helps me with my foot, so I can run faster and jump higher.. kinda of like Super Man.. Dr. Banks must be a SUPER HERO!" I was referred to Dr. Banks by my physical therapist of 9 yrs. They have never steered me wrong and with Dr. Banks that track record continues. I had a very large bone spur and chipped bone fragments my heel as well as hammer toe on both pinky toes. Dr. Banks and his staff are very awesome to deal with. I was nervous to get surgery but Dr. Banks and staff answered all my questions and put me at ease. The doctor having a 28 year proven track record also helped. I am now 6 weeks post op and my feet are finally not in pain so I am able to enjoy activities that previously missed out on because it was painful. I highly recommend Dr. Banks and staff! read more

I went to Dr. Bank for the first time to get an bad toenail looked at. The two women assistants were great, very friendly, paperwork was easy and there was a short wait time. I cannot impress enough how horrible my visit with Dr. Bank was. I got next to no information from Dr. Banks about the prescription, potential complications, or any other treatment options. He completely ignored my concerns and didn't directly talk to me about my medical allergies, the high risks of drinking alcohol while on the pills, or any other issues. This was hands down the worst doctors experience I have ever had. I wouldn't recommend anyone to him with his horrible bedside manner. I felt completely ignored, unheard, and unhelped by Dr. Bank. He answered none of my questions, barely talked to me while I was in the room with him, and sat down with me for about 7 minutes before hurrying me back to the front to pay. When I asked what would be the next option if the pills he planned on prescribing didn't work he just shrugged and said "well, let's hope they work". When I was clearly concerned about the pills, Dr. Bank sat over in a chair, continued other paperwork, made no eye contact, and virtually ignored me while the assistants tried to answer my questions. Dr. Bank is the best! He diagnosed my big toe pain and did the surgery to correct it. He is so professional, kind, and courteous, and spent time explaining the issue and how surgery would help. He even called a couple days after surgery to check on me. I would highly recommend him to anyone! My toe pain is gone and I can walk normally again. His staff is so nice as well. I went to Dr Bank with a multitude of issues and he took the time to address all of them. He obviously knows and understands everything connected with your foot structure and how it can affects your feet and other parts of your body. He takes the time to explain everything and gives you options as to how to proceed. I had custom orthotics made and they are magic! After wearing them for just one day I was able to sleep with no hip or lower leg pain for the first time in years. I have also been able to return to running without limping and being in pain the rest of the day. I wish I had gone to him long ago as he is head and shoulders above any other podiatrist I have been to, no other Dr has been able to help me, and some have done more harm than good. He obviously loves what he does and he does it well. He is also very easy to talk to and really cares. His office staff is outstanding and efficient. Absolutely terrible front desk attendants, not only can't they do their jobs correcting they are arrogant and rude. I got a call from Rose to collect a $15 copay which I've already paid in the office at my last visit that was MONTHS ago via cash. It's my understanding that you aren't able to see Dr. Banks unless you pay your copay first. How did I see him and still owe you my copay? She then asked me to prove that I paid or I would still owe them a copay. The burden of proof shouldn't be on me considering they have a rule of "no visit with out a copay payment" in place. Get your paperwork and processes in order and stop harassing your clients/ patients! Further more Dr. Banks was condescending and rude as well. Do not come here is you need help. Btw this isn't the first time I've had issues with Dr.Bank and his disorganized staff. They do not submit their paperwork in time and yet again I had to call my insurance and play the middle man while Dr.Bank and his staff gave me major attitude while trying to figure out my insurance paper work. I was approved through my insurance to see the doctor and yet his staff insisted that I wasn't and had to 3-way call my insurance because they (Dr.Banks staff) kept calling the incorrect number. Really you can't even call the correct number? What a waste of time and a complete shit show - Get it together. Take my advice, do your research and move on a better Doctor and staff. read more

Dr. Bank is very caring and loving. He took his time to examine my foot and made increadbly accurate diognostics. I was worried that he would say that I should stop running and all my foot problems will go away. But he actually encouraged me to run and have a great time. With his help and since I saw him a year ago I completed few half marathons and one full marathon. I am training for another marathon this coming fall. I would definitely recommend him based on his knowledge and professionalism. I also would like to mention that two front office girls are extremely kind and helpful. Waiting time? I was referred to Dr. Bank by two different people, and can't wait for someone to ask me for a podiatrist referral so I can do the same. Dr. Bank is just the right amount of serious and very approachable. You never feel rushed, he shows genuine concern, but also keeps it light and friendly. I've been to see him for two conditions. He cleared one up, and helped me find a way to manage the other with almost no discomfort. He has such a positive outlook on things, that it's contagious. His staff are very sweet, too. Dr. Bank is literally a life saver. My father had been to various podiatrists because his feet felt heavy and tingled. None seemed to be able to diagnose the problem, just prescribing creams and pills. One quack even suggested he rub his feet with sand? We came to Dr. Bank just based on yelp reviews and we haven't been disappointed. Long story short, it was a heart issue. I went to Dr. Bank to have a Mortons neuroma surgically removed from my right foot. I found him to be thorough, caring and informative, and took the time to answer all my questions. The surgery went well and I am now walking without pain for the first time in years. His office staff were kind and friendly and wait times were minimal. I had my first appointment with Dr. Bank this week and he is not only friendly - but he treated me in such a way that made me feel he was trying to find a solution to my specific problem. He carefully evaluated my X-rays and determined that my orthotics could benefit from some tweaking. From there he went through the process of improving my orthotics and in turn my feet feel better. He also recommended a steroid shot to help with the swelling I was experiencing. Shots in joints are never a treat but Dr. Bank administered it in a way that the discomfort was minimized. He clearly cares about what he does and how each patient feels when they walk away. I strongly recommend you schedule a visit with him if you are experiencing issues with your feet. read more

I came to Dr Bank for surgery to correct a poorly done osteotomy by a previous Orthopedic Surgeon. I was in a motorcycle accident that left me with a disfigured foot, a horrible limp and intense pain with every step I took. I spoke with a few doctors, orthopedic surgeons and podiatrists about what could be done and Dr. Bank was the only one that had a logical solution and assured me that he could make it better. I felt comfortable with him because he took the time to thoroughly examine my foot, my previous xrays and all of my medical records and surgical history notes prior to making any decisions about my treatment. He also assured me that he could make a difference in the pain I was feeling and in my limp. He suggested that we first start with changing the shoes I was wearing (that were approved by my previous orthopedic surgeon.) The new shoes absolutely made a difference. He then fit me for orthotics and that made an even bigger difference. Immediately, my pain and my limp were less noticeable. These were a good fix for me until I was ready to have the surgery a few months later. Prior to my surgery Dr. Bank met with me to go over the procedure and discuss exactly what would be done and to answer any questions and concerns. I had many questions because this would be my 4th surgery on this foot. After this appointment I was completely positive that I had made the best decision by choosing Dr. Bank to preform my surgery. The surgery went well and without any complications and I felt very little pain. In fact, I was up on my foot faster than any other of my previous surgeries. The incision was small and swelling and pain were minor. My post follow up with Dr Bank was informative and reassuring. He showed me before and after xrays to show me the improvements that had been made. When my incisions were healed and I was able to bear full weight, I was amazed that I could finally walk without feeling like I had a marble taped to the bottom of my foot. Finally, my pain was gone and my 2 year old limp was drastically reduced. Its almost unnoticeable. In my near future, I will require one more surgery on my foot to replace a joint that has become arthritic and fused. I will definitely be returning to Dr. Bank for his expertise and experience. I have nothing but praise and admiration for Dr. Bank and his team. I am so very grateful to him for helping me get my life back. Thank you Dr. Bank! read more

Brilliant Doctor for Warts on Children!! We went to various pediatric dermatologists to try and get rid of the warts on my 8 year old daughter's feet. The warts were spreading aggressively on her feet and a few clusters started popping up on her hands. Dr. Bank was extremely dedicated to coming up with a solution for getting rid of her warts. He followed up with us regularly after our appointments to check in on the progress. I have never met a doctor so committed to his patient care and to getting RESULTS. It took only 3 pain-free treatments to her feet and all the warts went away-even the warts on her hands! After all the time and money we had spent in other doctor's offices trying to resolve the same concern, it was amazing he was able to provide such quick results. He used a topical treatment that was completely pain free for my daughter-no freezing and no injections. Dr. Bank is extremely dedicated to finding solutions for tough cases, he has a great demeanor and a friendly staff. We had a few schedule changes and his staff was very accommodating. Dr Banks was the second podiatrist I went to for metatarsalgia. He made me orthotics. I asked for full length with a metatarsal pad. The total for everything was suppose to be $500. I got half length which he sent back and had me come again. Then I got the full length and had to pay for another visit; however, the metatarsal pad was back too far and useless because it was so thin as well as the orthotics squeaked so much you could hear me coming from a long distance. Powder did not solve the issue. The other option was surgery which I was not willing to do. I just got new orthotics for more than 4 times less expensive from Jose at Rehab Alliance and I have immediate relief! I also was given exercises to get to the root of the problem and not just put a bandaid on it. read more
