Dr. Roth is friendly and easy to talk to. A friend referred me to him because the first doctor I went to see (3 sessions) did not work. I had really bad toe fungus issues that the first doctor did nothing for me. It was a waste of my money for her laser sessions and products for home treatment. Dr. Roth has a really good method and I followed thru everyday and his laser machine was way better than the first doctor. Feb 24th, 2025 I posted a one star review. Dr. Roth immediately called me and was very defensive. Instead of taking accountability he blamed me, the customer, for my poor results. Very disappointing experience. In all my years, I have never heard of a retailer, medical professional, mechanic, or any other service industry individual call a customer after a review and blame them for a their personal experience. Words are enough to describe how Great of a Doctor and Human Being Dr. Ivar Roth is. He is the GOAT of fixing feet. He needs his own Reality Show and seriously more people need to know about him. I am a former athlete, he fixed an injury that 6 other doctors said to have a surgery on and all six of them misdiagnosed my foot injury. They wanted me to shave my bone and have 1-3 surgeries to fix the callus on the bottom of my right foot. They said my bone was protruding through my skin and it reality the injury was a blown out sweat gland. Very common in Tennis players. Dr. Ivar Roth fixed that problem and diagnosed my foot right away. Maybe like 8 seconds. Second thing Dr. Ivar Roth did was fix my fungus on 8 out of 10 toes. In 5 months, he took a foot that wasn't extreme but very bad in that direction and eliminated all of the fungus. He taught me about foot care. Why did I wait so long to fix both injuries one might ask? Because I didn't trust anyone. Dr's are smart people. You can be smart and get a doctor's license however that doesn't mean your good at your job. Dr. Ivar Roth is the best at his job at least on the west coast and he has the experience! He works with old people, young people, regular people and professional athletes. He even treats Neuropathy and my Mom is going to start treatment soon. Third thing Dr. Ivar Roth did was fix my really bad athlete's foot. 24-hour fitness is gross, and I wouldn't go there if it wasn't open 24 hours. That was a bad new year's resolution however the silver lining in this experience is that I met a doctor who mastered his craft and fixed all of my issues. My athletes foot got infected from the algae on the reef because I live across the street from the beach in Laguna Beach. I was on three topical creams from Kaiser. I have Kaiser Platinum. Also, my Kaiser foot doctor said I didn't have toenail fungus and man that guy is a great guy but missed 8 out of 10 toes and didn't see it! He said my right pinkie toe was messed up from all of the abuse it took playing soccer, baseball and football. I was put on antibiotics to help with the infection from the algae on the reef, but the topical cream didn't do anything for the athletes foot. It was getting worse over two weeks. I was watching it get worst. I went into my dental office and said, if I played for the Lakers I wouldn't be suffering this bad and is there any doctor that you know that can help me. This is getting out of control and ridiculous. I go to the best dentist who works with Terry Debrow named Dr. Michelle Farnoush in Newport Beach, look her up too! I turned bad teeth into good teeth with no veneers. I spent 21,000 and it was worth every penny. So back to the story one of Dr. Michelle Farnoush's dental hygienists said you got to see Dr. Ivar Roth. I went in there without an appointment, and Dr. Roth treated me right away. I bought the Big Kahuna package with lots of laser treatment. His handmade ointment literally within 24 hours started working and within 3 weeks, my wounds were gone! Keep in mind two weeks at Kaiser nothing was happening. I got A Plus care as if I was on the lakers with Dr. Ivar Roth and his staff is on point! I learned what A+ care is. I am so grateful to randomly go there and fix all my foot issues. After fixing my blown sweat gland and reducing my callus by 90% I had to learn to walk again without a giant callus on the bottom of my foot is a blessing! I was prepared to die with that injury. Now it's reduced to 10% of what it was, and barley notice it's there. It was like walking with a rock in your shoe for 23 years. I am going to start to play soccer again at 43 and I can walk bare footed again. Fourth thing Dr. Ivar Roth helped me with was my wrist. I had multiple injuries at the same time. He fixed and helped speed up the healing time is my wrist by 50%! I tore my triangular fiber Cartlidge complex and a small bone. With laser treatments every day for over two months he got me back on track. This is where I learned about A+ care on my wrist and there is a reason why Steph Curry came back in 4 months after wrist surgery and in general why people heal fast, and others don't. I wish I knew this sooner in life, I would have paid the money have I know about this care. Kaiser is great for some things and private care is better for some things. In conclusion Dr. Ivar Roth Knows his craft, is worth every penny and he is a smart guy. This Doctor needs his own tv show and more people need to know about him. I strongly recommend him! read more

I have had a Paincur injection as a test for a shoulder issue that I've had for a long time. I explained to Dr. Roth that I was not experiencing pain, but my mobility was limited. He felt that it would help my mobility and I was like let's do it! Sure enough my range of motion increased with the test injection! After living with chronic pain for over two months I finally had enough and jumped on the computer to find a podiatrist. I was so overwhelmed with the amount of doctors to choose from. I have very high standards when it comes to the medical community. When I called this office and explained my issues ,I was very pleased they were able to accommodate my schedule. When I arrived I was so pleasantly surprised. The office is extraordinarily beautiful and the front desk staff was a true window into making a medical visit as pleasant as possible. Everything in the office is completely high-tech, spotless and yet somehow calming. Dr. Roth is a consummate professional. The kind of doctor that does a complete exam why he is explaining everything and has so much experience that he pretty much can diagnose your issues right then and there. No wasting time with all the crazy diagnosting tests, this man is so experienced in his profession that he was able to pinpoint the problem right from the start. The necessary procedure was completed immediately and I was able to order some new (and greatly improved) orthotics at the same time. This doctor is very competent and down to earth. Dr Roth is a salesman. I broke my toe and had it x-rayed and taped at Hoag urgent care. The doc there recommended I see a podiatrist to manipulate the bone back into place. I was skeptical but it hurt enough for me to try. I brought my x-ray to Dr Roth because he worked in the same medical building that I worked in. I was surprised that he greeted me with his concierge podiatry brochure, sharing what services he provided. I was there for a specific reason and did not expect the sales talk. I saw him for a broken toe and he tried to sell me ten laser treatments for the broken toe, orthotics ('for knee/hip pain, I may have in the future'), a pedicure, and his foot care kit. Without really looking at my feet he told me I had fungus all over my feet and I was exposing my whole family to it. Even said I might have warts. Was he trying to scare me? If I had fungus and warts why didn't he treat it. Why only recommend the expensive items, $500 of laser at 50% discount over ten more visits, $150 pedicure, expensive orthotics, future x-ray, etc. I felt I had to buy something to get out of there. I bought his footcare kit. It consisted of a brush, foot cream with his face on it, another small tube of cream for dry heals, and two rolls of green plastic bags to wrap my feet in. I had to laugh out loud when I opened up the kit tonight. The bags were green produce bags from Gelsons. Had Gelsons printed across them. Not so classy for such a nice location. My visit cost over $200 and that was with a discount. He says he doesn't take insurance but after I paid he said he could try to charge my PPO. So what did he do with my toe. Just wrapped tape around it. This visit could have costed me $1000s with follow up visits recommended. My toe healed fine by itself. read more

I have known Dr. Roth socially for years, and then having seriously injured my left foot in a walking accident about a year ago, I became a patient. Dr. Roth was able to quickly diagnose the condition, had me in a surgical boot for about six weeks, and everything healed up nicely. No need for any meds, just followed the doctors orders. Somewhere between 5-7 years ago, I began suffering from arthritis in the tarsal sinus of both ankles, as the result of severe flatfeet, years of basketball and related ankle injuries in my youth. As the pain increased, my level of activity/athletics decreased. I distinctly recall a day I went to magic mountain with one of my good friends, like we used to as kids. I could barely make it out of the park I was in so much pain at the end of it, and the recovery from such an outing could take WEEKS... it was terrible. This prompted me to seek out medical treatment to first fix my flat feet -- for good. I stumbled upon the Hyprocure stent as a possible solution. Initially, I visited a podatrist in Sherman Oaks (not to be named), who said I was a complete FIT for the procedure, which was great news. However, I am always one to seek multiple opinions, which led me to Dr. Roth, THE top physician performing the procedure. My HMO at the time (Kaiser) did not support the hyprocure. In fact, their only solution was a triple arthrodesis (fusing the 3 main joints of the hindfoot), which I refused to consider at age 38.. Dr. Roth evaluated me for the Hyprocure, and was completely honest and straightforward with me -- something we don't get enough of in this day and age of ULTRA-sensitivity and fragile egos. Unfortunately, I was too close to the edge of "a fit" - and he explained why with data, images, etc - for the Hyprocure in its current form, so as to either not see enough correction, or to possibly see complications later. Dr. Roth offered an alternative long-term solution Kaiser made no mention of - the calcaneal osteotomy - along with the NOW solution of a set of his WONDERFUL custom orthotics, ALONG with a stem-cell treatment not yet used by any podiatrists Dr. Roth knows of. I agreed to take the chance on the treatment, one in each ankle, stems cells taken from my upper tibia, in lieu of more cortisone shots from Kaiser (forgot to mention those .. had 2 and then refused more due to degenerative effect). It took a while - perhaps a month - after each shot, but I truly began noticing improvement. Overall a bit less acute pain, but more importantly to me, less RECOVERY from overexertion (long walks, hikes, standing on feet for 45+ mins, etc), Whereas in the past, I would be on the shelf and shuffling around for a week or so with terrible chronic soreness and SHOOTING pain, since these procedures, i might only be sore (in the tarsal sinus and arches) for a day, maybe two with the second day much better than the first. Am I still in pain? Yes of course, but that wont be "fixed" until I either undergo calcaneal osteotomies (with expected new pain and soreness that come with them) or somehow qualify for a later version of the Hyprocure. Or God forbid, am now stuck with triple arthrodeses... For the NOW/short-term problem, the orthotics provide GREAT support / stability, and allow me to walk/hike for longer periods before the onset of pain. Whereas, stem-cell therapy has truly revolutionized my quality of life in 3 ways: 1) NO more shooting pain while resting! This as something truly terrible... after a long day of walking and constant pain, the only thing I could hope for was to kick my feet up on the couch. No reprieve, for the arthritic joints in my ankle would begin to feel as if they were separating, moving around and i'd be hit with daggers of shooting pain, without warning. Ice, heat, meds, nothing helped but time and grinning and bearing it. These daggers are GONE 2) reduced the acute soreness somewhat (onset of pain while being active .. i know the orthotics are helping here as well). Basically, I can walk, hike, stand longer before soreness/pain starts up in both my ankles and arches. 3) Greatly reducing recovery time from walking, hiking, standing, etc -- down from 1-2 weeks to 1-2 days. NEXT, i will be bringing my 16-year old daughter to get fitted for orthotics, for she sustained a complete ACL tear in her right knee while playing club soccer. Dr. Roth actually advised me that athletes were more prone to suffering ACL tears BECAUSE they did not wear orthotics at the time of the injurym, and that he had supplied entire football teams with said orthotics, resulting in near -elimination of ACL tears. My fingernails were flat and/or cupping, but I went to Dr. Roth for a toenail that was growing out like a teepee. Not sure whether it was the laser, topical, meds or diet changes or some combination thereof, but the issues went away. I wish I had gone sooner. read more

I began the in office laser treatments for my fungal toenails about 18 months ago. They also have supported me throughout the lengthy process of my home treatments necessary to achieve clear, healthy toenails. Gina, a certified podiacurist, has done my monthly pedicures utilizing podiatrist tools and equipment to insure that my toenails continued to grow in healthy. The only thing I wish that Concierge Podiatry could do for me is to speed up the slow process of growing toenails at the slow rate of 2 mm per month! read more

It has been a pleasant, productive experience being treated by Dr. Roth, and Gina. Dr. Roth was also a lead in treating some arthritic bone conditions not yet addressed through my HMO. I wish I could give negative stars. I went to Dr. Roth for over three years for what appeared to be toenail fungus. For two years Dr. Roth cut my nails back to the moon, cut into my exposed flesh and scrapped and gouged. It was very very painful. He sold me his proprietary magic potion to apply twice a day. Nothing changed, my nails were the same. I asked several times why he didn't culture the nail to confirm it was fungus but he said he knew that it was. Then he got the laser. He claimed it was breakthrough, he was the only one who had it. It was even more painful. It was incredibly expensive. Nothing was reimbursed through insurance. I quit going to Dr. Roth, went to an MD dermatologist who had the nail cultured. It was not nail fungus, just damage to the nail from when I was a runner. That's it. The nail is not discolored, it's just white at the end where it is not connected to the skin. It is not a fungus. It looks exactly the same as it did the first day I saw Dr. Roth. I spent thousands of dollars. I experienced excruciating pain. And to top it off, Dr. Roth started emailing and calling me and offering discounted services (but still very expensive) to patients whose condition had not improved, he said he had a great new proprietary technique. Please don't waste your money. Please go to an MD dermatologist and get an accurate diagnosis and medically approved treatment. read more

I don't usually write reviews however I had to share my experience at Dr. Roth's. From the 1st phone call to my on going treatment it has been an Amazing experience. I came in with what I thought was a badly sprained ankle twice the size of my normal ankle and the swelling was not going down, Dr. Roth took one look and said we better x-ray and it was broken - he went over all of the treatments to help with the swelling and pain and I decided to do the laser treatments, I am happy to say that within 24 hours the swelling and pain had gone down significantly and within a week I could not believe the improvement. I would highly recommend Dr. Roth he makes you feel like you are his only patient and the personal attention to getting you back on your feet is a breath of fresh air in the medical profession today.
