It brings me great delight to highly recommend Dr. Dan Bush. I came to him last year broken. I had lost control over my emotions and the harder I tried for control, the more I lost them. I was drowning in shame and self loathing because of it. He used IFS and EMDR techniques as well as talk therapy and he helped pull me out of a very dark place and put me back on a path of spiritual and emotional well being. To this day, I still get amazed at how I react or don't react to any given situations that come my way. He helped me to see, accept and love all parts of me. He became my "safe" person and I never had one nor new I needed one. So once again, I highly recommend him. Thank you Dan for all you do. read more

Our practice is led by Dr. Daniel Bush, LPCC-S, who brings a rare combination of clinical and spiritual training. Alongside his counseling licensure, he holds a PhD in Divinity and graduate degrees in theology — making him a Christian therapist uniquely equipped for clients who want faith thoughtfully integrated into care. He is trauma-trained and draws on evidence-based methods including EMDR, Havening Techniques, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused and Relational Life therapies, REBT, CBT, and existential approaches. I've traveled my own road through trauma, difficulty, and distress, which lets me meet you with real empathy for wherever you are today. I started with a Civil Engineering degree from Michigan Tech and spent a decade as a U.S. Air Force officer before being drawn toward ministry and counseling. I hold a PhD in Divinity from the University of Aberdeen, a ThM and MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a Master's in Counseling from Northwestern University. I'm a LPCC with supervisory endorsement in Kentucky and Ohio, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and certified in spiritual direction, personality disorders, and Havening Techniques. For couples, I draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Relational Life Therapy (RLT).

People are there because they are sick and they treat them like a pile of trash. I would love to name some names but I won't. You know who you are. Shame on you. Also, there is nothing constructive to do all day unless you like to color or eat. No games, only group therapy. I just can't get over how RUDE some of those people can be. I mean it is just unbelievable. People there are SICK, some suicidal and they treat them like trash. Sad. Get ahold of yourselves. My husband drove and I didn't want to leave my wallet in the car so I didn't bring it. At the desk was a very rude and demeaning woman who at that point informed me I must have an ID. Now I'm sitting in the car while my husband visits. First advise people more clearly in what they will need to visit. Second they are a paid facility and thus should have appropriately behaving employees at the desk.

I thought at first I was not even going to get to have my appointment (seeing as I was running 15 minutes late) but alas! The staff was very accommodating despite my tardiness and I was greeted by Dr. Robert Wells in no less than 15 seconds after entering the office. Luckily, I had previously filled out the 9 or 10 page patient intake paperwork (which the receptionist had kindly emailed to me upon making the initial appointment) so after 5 or so minutes of read this / read that I was in! Dr. Wells greeted again and showed me to his office. I was offered water and a (very comfortable) place to sit and the session began. Dr. Wells made sure to explain how things were going to proceed and that i was comfortable the entire time. I definitely recommend seeing this doctor..! He's Awesome.
