Well, the residents and fellows there are very dismissive, at least to female patients. (Even had this confirmed by a nurse, there...) The heads of cardiology were kind, and moderately knowledgeable about cardiology and how it is affected by EDS (connective tissue disorder). But, I spent most time with the residents and fellows. One, walked in, I'm wearing a mask, so you don't see much of my face, and says... "I haven't looked at your chart or test results, but you look healthy, so I don't suspect to find anything. " Um...what??? And he said it 2 more times. Asinine. You can be very ill, and not look like it. During our appointment, he never once asked about my diet, my lifestyle, if I exercise, nor did he mention a concern over my weight. Yet, he repeatedly referred to obesity as my problem in my chart, and in another note, said if I would consider changing my diet and exercising, the heart issues would stop. Again, he never asked me about the fact that I don't like processed foods, that I don't have a sweet tooth, nor do I snack on salty foods, and that I'm careful with what I eat. He never asked if I exercise, so he has no idea that I workout 4 to 6 days a week, plus am very active. No. He just plugged my weight into a chart and assumed. I'm well aware that I'm not tiny (most people call me average, I wear a size small to medium, not that it matters) , but I also know these charts are antiquated and factor in nothing but height and weight. Again, he also did not ask a single question about how I eat, sleep, workout, or live. Never mind that because of this, he dismissed the spikes in HR, the plummeting BP, the dizziness, fatigue, palpitations, etc.

I have not had very many pleasant experiences. My visit today was unlike any previous visits with other doctors. Kelly was amazing! She was one of the nicest doctors I've seen in months. Very kind, very caring. It was such a nice change of pace from what I've been experiencing. The office staff was kind and actually knowledgeable, which was also a nice change. No one takes responsibility for the total care of the patient here . The office staff controlled solve, the portal doesn't contain results or provide easy assess to enter information regarding history ,medications etc At My first visit ,Dr Solaimani ordered labs and other tests unbeknownst to me. The office staff scheduled an appointment for me to follow up with the doctor two months after the first appointment for which I had to pay a $70 co-pay and my insurance was billed several hundred dollars. When I got there, they told me I hadn't done the labs the Dr had ordered. I inquired as to why I wasn't notified of the labs at the first visit , there answer was " well we must've had a student who put you in the room and she didn't enter your specific lab you use into the computer " . When I ask about why there was no follow-through on this why no one called me to inquire about why I hadn't had the labs before my appointment, they said oh we don't do that. We don't have any way to know about that. They kept referring to possibly a student that made mistakes the last time I was there. No one wanted to take accountability and they couldn't explain the process of how these things are normally done. It sounds like computers run this office, not thinking responsible people. The nurse practitioner I saw (when I had scheduled an appointment with the Dr) spent only 6 minutes with me informing me "all the results of my previous colonoscopy was normal) something the Dr told me after the procedure. Then ushered me out to schedule another appointment in two months after I complete the labs they had "previously ordered. When I ask about why I didn't see the doctor at this visit, as previously scheduled I was told "oh you have to tell us when you come in so we can put you in the right room to see the Dr." "We don't know who your appointment is with!" This office needs an overhaul from the top down! I feel they just want to schedule expensive procedures such as colonoscopies and EGD's , bill your insurance then dismiss you after they have completed these .I will not return!

During the call, she repeatedly asked for my name and basic information multiple times, even after I answered several times clearly. The conversation became very confusing, and instead of handling it professionally, she repeatedly said "oh my gosh," laughed during the call, and spoke to me in a rude tone. When she mentioned that my information was not on file, I explained that I was calling because I was a new patient. She responded by saying, "Well, you should've said that before." At that point, I expressed that I felt she was being rude and unprofessional and simply asked for the referral doctor's phone number instead. She then hung up on me. It's unfortunate that someone seeking medical help would be treated this way. Patients should be treated with patience, professionalism, and respect, especially during their first interaction with a medical office. Hanging up on a patient and making them feel mocked or dismissed is unacceptable.
