She was also the one that washed my hair. I voiced my concern about sensitivity and she was like no problem and even informed my hair dresser. She was gentle with washing my hair. Then my hair dresser Winnie, felt like I was talking to my aunt. So sweet and gentle with me. She heard my concerns and gave recommendations. Ming and an assistant worked super efficiently, especially given that I have super thick hair. Shoutout to the woman who washed my hair too, it's not uncommon for me to leave other salons with residual soap/dye because my hair is so thick, but she washed it SO thoroughly and it felt great too! It was about a 17-minute walk from where I was currently at, so I called to check availability before walking over. Dominique answered the phone and told me she was happy to take me in as soon as I arrived. I communicated what I wanted: to cut off at least 15 inches of hair for me to donate then just have her add layers so that my face would be framed nicely. I explained that I have naturally curly/wavy hair and that I don't want my hair shorter than my shoulders when curly. She listened intently and very clearly understood the assignment. I let her know that I didn't really have an "inspiration photo" for what I wanted my hair to look like, but she told me not to worry and I trusted her. Throughout the entire process, she communicated EVERYTHING to me! She knew I was nervous about having short hair again, so I truly appreciated her transparency with what she planned to do while cutting as it made me feel at ease. The outcome is PHENOMENAL!
