First time visit and definitely the LAST. Stylist was running late so my appt was changed to 2 hrs later. I arrived and still had to wait. Casi did a curly cut and she used alot of curling cream and some mousse. She barely used the diffuser, left my entire head WET and the towel around my neck was so wet, it got my blouse wet on both shoulders. I came here for a much needed haircut. I arrived about 10 minutes early, and had my niece with me. The staff was very friendly and respectful that I had a 10 year old with me. They offered us a beverage of choice (we both went with water), and we chilled for about 20 minutes until it was my turn. The stylist was very wonderful and attentive. Been to the salon a few times being new to the neighborhood. I read reviews and ultimately went with Karissa since I also wanted color when I went a year ago. The lady at the desk was lovely and friendly and Karissa who was my stylist was amazing. She took her time, was meticulous on details, and was lovely to chat with through the whole process. The only reason I am knocking off a star is because the price is pretty step for just a haircut and I have medium-short straight hair and when I went at a later date for root color and a trim/shape up. Decided to treat myself to a hair color. I first thought of doing a short hair cut and went to Ashley who did a stellar job with my cut and blow dry. Shortly after I decided I wanted to add some color to my black box dyed hair and cover my grays. Went to Karissa who did an amazing job and was able to lift the black and get a lovely chocolate result. I saw Dalune for a haircut and blowout. She was very sweet. However, her cutting and blowout skills can use some work. She cut curtain bangs on me that were left uneven and used a razor on them improperly. The razor kept tugging on my hair, which, when used properly on wet hair, should glide and feel like butter. I'm a hairstylist, and I specialize in haircutting, so I'm glad I can fix it. I went to check this place out because sometimes it's nice to just go to a different salon every so often to just get the "client experience." For the blow dry...she kept tugging at the hair...and putting the nozzle against the brush when it should be facing alongside the hair to help guide the hair through the brush and get it smooth and shiny. She also didn't bother to properly blow out the cowlick I have, nor the rest of the hairline. I'm disappointed with the service overall. read more

Didn't know my hair dresser but we started communicating and she was very friendly. Her name is Casi. My process was 6 hours... which includes treatment. I usually have one hair wash elsewhere. At posh, I've got like 4-5. They take so much time to care for your hair. It was 6 hours. I never sat that long for my hair. But the after look was exactly what I wanted. Went to this salon a couple times and was not happy with service. The girls will constantly try to tell you what they want you to do to your hair and gets pissed if you don't do it. I've gotten a haircut from here twice. I really enjoyed the salon and my haircuts from here. Earlier this week, I scheduled an appointment on the phone. They never informed me of a deposit to put down for the appointment on the phone. On the day of my appointment, I got a missed call from them and called back a few hours later to an answering machine so I left a message. When I arrived for my appointment, they told me that they gave the appointment time to another client because I didn't put down a deposit and the other client did. I'm a little disappointed with what happened because I had planned my day around this time for an appointment. I've been looking for a new salon after years of not-so-great experiences. I first made an appointment for a free consultation and met with Casi. Now, in the past when I've done a consultation (at other salons) it literally consisted of meeting with the stylist by the reception desk, them giving my hair a quick once over, and quoting me a price (that often ended up being less than what I ended up paying). It was such a different experience with Casi at Posh. She took me to her chair, sat me down in front of the mirror, thoroughly looked at the color of my hair (I wanted to do a balayage), and even did a strand test so she could give me an accurate idea of what to expect! She walked me through my options, told me the time frame to expect, and quoted me a price (which was very reasonable and was the EXACT amount I ended up paying -- minus tip of course). On the actual day of the appointment, she was very patient, took her time with my hair, communicated with me through the whole process so I knew what was going on and what was to come, asked if I wanted anything to drink, told me I could order food to be delivered there (since I was going to be there for several hours), and was remarkably gentle on my hair. Casi did an AMAZING job on my hair and had been available for me to ask follow up questions as I care for my hair after the salon visit. Everyone that I met at the salon -- both on the day of consultation and on the day I actually got my hair done -- was so nice! I think it's safe to say I've found my forever salon! read more

This salon is AMAZING !! I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and Kamilla DELIVERED. She was by far the best person to ever cut my hair. She knew exactly how to cater to my curly hair when it came to cutting my hair short, but not too short. She spent an hour cutting my hair and being so precise, she also added beach waves which made the whole cut come together.
