My health kept declining and I went ahead with the radioiodine treatment for my Graves Disease. Dr. Kuhadiya started seeing me by teledoc only and became less and less informative with what I had to do to prepare for the radioiodine treatment. He failed to mention I needed to set up a special appointment for important labs and tests, he failed to mention I had to do the lid diet to help the radioiodine work and he stopped answering all my questions and stopped seeing me period! I had the radioiodine treatment over a month and a half ago and I still haven't had a single appointment in person or on line nor have I started medication for my thyroid!! Had I known I would be left to do this on my own without any help or information that could guide me through this extremely difficult illness and procedure, I would have gone to California to seek proper help with doctors who are more experienced and prepared to help someone like me. I'm getting sicker and sicker, I can barely move, my muscles are extremely sore, I get nauseated all the time, my sugars are constantly through the roof among other things! I already went through the abuses of many doctors in this small crappy town who can't treat, manage nor detect and resolve issues they specialize in and now I'm left on my own with no help. I don't know why it's so difficult to help people like me that have the insurance and can pay for whatever treatment is necessary, can clear payments and show up on time and still not get proper care!
