Like many others, I'm not the biggest fan of those biannual cleanings (ouchy), but Kwon & Jabbour have made the experience as painless as possible. Their facility is clean, modern, and very high-tech. There's a lot of effort to ensure patient comfort and wellbeing. I didn't realize how outdated my previous dentist's tech was until I came here... And also realized how much smoother the teeth cleaning experience could be. Each time I've visited, the staff are professional, kind, and welcoming. I've been wary of predatory practices after hearing about peers' bad experiences with dentists-- fortunately, you definitely don't have to worry about that here. Dr. Jabbour and staff show genuine care towards patient wellbeing and patiently break down any treatments or recommendations if you have questions. I feel very reassured that they have my best interests in mind.

He recommended a root canal and recommended an endodontist. His staff called their office, while I was waiting, to make an appointment the following day. Wow... great customer service. But then a few things got me concerned in the recent years. 2 reviewers here claim that they ended up with a root canal for a filling done wrong. Same thing happened to me, and it seems to be more than a coincidence. Bit of context - I had a chipped molar which never really bothered me for some 15+ years (literally). At some point, my previous dentist, John Savukinas, Rockville - Maryland, convinced me heavily that I needed a filling for my chipped tooth. The filling he gave me lasted 10 years with no issues. I went to Dr. Lilly Li to get the filling re-done and she hit the root when she was grinding down the tooth further. And I ended up with a root canal. Unfortunately, she also hit the adjacent molar during her grinding exercise, and that tooth ended up with a cavity. And that is the only cavity that I've known in my entire life. I am not sure if the office uses outdated equipment, but she has insisted for a few years that I have another cavity elsewhere, and I could never tell that is the case. Recently, I changed out dentists, and my new dentist agrees that there isn't any other cavity and a simple deep-cleaning would suffice. Moral of the story: You know more about your oral hygiene than any dentist ever would. If you are good about taking care of your oral hygiene very regularly, then please pause to reevaluate if you really need all these 'fillings' that they try to pawn off onto you. Worse, when you don't even have a cavity and they keep telling you for years that you need a filling. Fillings weaken your teeth, and chances of you ending up with a root-canal after these repeat fillings is real. This is no joke. Do NOT let them talk down to you and force you into getting a filling when your gut knows that there is no issue. This goes for ANY dentist, not just her or Dr.John Savukinas (my previous dentist). One of the dental hygienists in her office (the African American lady) admonishingly patronized me when I refused a filling for that reason. Amusing that they would assume that people visiting their office don't understand basic science. Else, everyone else in the office is super pleasant to work with. I've since moved onto another dental practice that better suits me, but I wish their office the best.

Despite confirming with our insurance that we are not responsible for the remaining balance, we continue to receive bills and feel unfairly pressured to pay again. The tone of communication has become increasingly uncomfortable, and they treat us as if we're avoiding our obligations. The lack of transparency and accountability from the office has made it difficult to trust their billing practices. I'm sharing this not out of anger, but in the hope that the office will take steps to improve how they handle billing and communication.

I've had a very disappointing experience with this dental practice…read more During a recent cleaning, a temporary hygienist forcefully removed filling material from my front teeth. When I contacted the office, I was given an appointment with a dentist who repaired the damaged areas. She explained that the practice uses temporary hygienists on Saturdays and that the incident involving this hygienist had already been reported. After the repair appointment, I developed painful chemical burns inside my mouth, including on my tongue and lower lip. I returned to see Dr. Wang, who advised me to rinse my mouth with salt water and said he would make a note not to use the same chemical on me again. Shortly afterward, my repaired front teeth began hurting again. The pain was mild but constant and bothersome. When I returned to the office, I clearly explained to Dr. Wang that I was experiencing ongoing pain, not occasional sensitivity. However, he attributed it to gum recession and recommended a prescription product for sensitivity. I explained twice that my concern was persistent pain. Dr. Wang took photographs that appeared to show areas where some of the repaired material had broken off, which seemed to explain the pain. Despite this, I did not feel that he listened to my concerns or fully addressed the damage that occurred after the cleaning. He quickly treated only one of the affected teeth and then left abruptly, saying, "Nice seeing you," in a manner that felt dismissive. All I wanted was to have my front teeth properly repaired and my concerns taken seriously. Instead, I left feeling dismissed and disappointed by the lack of accountability and follow-up. My previous dentist's office routinely called to check on me after treatments, but this practice has never followed up, even after these complications.

I come from Sacramento to have my teeth cleaned and looked at so it's still worth the trip. The hygienists have mostly stayed the same, with some retiring as it was there time, but for the most part they are still intact. Appointments- They are only open 1 Saturday a month so it's rough trying to get a Saturday appointment. I usually make my appointment at the end of my appointment so they can usually schedule me in a time that works best. Just be aware that it's tough to reschedule an appointment the closer it gets to your appointment as appointments are made 6 months in advance. Parking- They are in a business park and they have a private lots so parking isn't an issue. Farmer's Market- If you come on a Saturday there is usually a Farmer's market across the street in the Kaiser Shopping Center. So if you are early or waiting for someone there is something to do. Dentist- It's a husband and wife couple. They are both very nice and all seems well. I don't have any gum disease or cavities so I can only judge on the regular 6 month appointments. For now I'm a satisfied customer. Ambiance- It's nice a cozy, the receptionist knows your name so you feel at home. They have a bathroom right off the waiting area where you can refresh your mouth before going to the appointment. Make sure you ask the receptionist for a disposable tooth brush to do a quick cleaning before you have your appointment. They used to have them in the restroom for your, but took them out. They are infused with toothpaste so there is no need for more. There is also mouthwash and cups in the bathroom so you can do a quick swish. Decor- I still love the paw prints on the ceiling tiles. The place is clean and fresh. I love the unique whimsical stools the air purifier is on. They have little games for the kids to play while they wait and a stack of magazines to read in the lobby. Goodie Bag- Kids still have a toy check they can get a toy from. That is always a plus. When I was a kid I'd love getting my tiny gift. And for the adults we get a new toothbrush, the color of our choice, a choice of toothpaste and floss. I love the mini toothpaste as I use them when I travel. They are the perfect size for TSA.
