This review is a bit late, but I have been so annoyed. I made an appointment for December 2025, took time off work to drive to this office and I received a call one hour before my appointment letting me know that the appointment would have to be rescheduled. I was very upset because I had to commute from SF to WC for this appointment ( during rush hour), but things happen. They rescheduled me for January. Then my January appointment rolls around and they never called to confirm. I call them the day before and they tell me that I am not in their system for an appointment. Long story short, I will never reschedule with them again. Also I believe that if you are to charge me for arriving late to an appointment, then you should also pay me for cancelling my appointment and then failing to actually schedule me as discussed. read more

Best dentist office ever! I'm biased, but I do love that it's woman-owned and run, and by a mother and her daughters at that. I just got the prettiest crown a few weeks ago after a simple and painless root canal procedure. I appreciate the attentiveness and clear passion of both Tatyana and Elena. You can tell they have a unique passion for what they do if you pay attention. I have been a regular customer of Golden State Dentistry for many years and have never complained about the quality of treatment or service.

I do not recommend GSD. I've been a customer of the office for around a year - I had an appointment scheduled for last week, which they lost because of a system glitch, so I had to reschedule for 8/12. They called me on 8/11 to let me know that their hygienist was no longer available so I couldn't come in. One time is understandable, but two is not good - if you're like me and have to ask for time off work, it makes you look disorganized to have to reschedule your time off twice. I did really like the hygienist but it sounds like she's no longer there. I will be looking elsewhere for my future dental needs. read more

On October 2018 i needed to remove tooth #14 in upper jaw and put an implant instead. Dr. Tatyana Yashchuk from Golden State Dentistry instead of removing the tooth, do sinus lifting with bone grafting, she just did an extraction of the tooth and bone grafting without sinus lifting in the first place and charge me the below: 1. 10/26/18 D7999 Unspecified oral surg. procedure $300 (what are those $300 i have no idea ???) 10/26/18 D7210, Tooth 14,Extract erupted tooth $177 10/26/18 D7953, Tooth 14, Bone graft $391 after 6 month in April 2019 she did cone beam and cast with the below charges: 2. 04/20/19 D0366, Cone beam full arch maxilla $462.00 04/20/19 D0470, Diagnostic casts $86.00 and the next appointment told me that there is not enough bone and she didn't know that bone grafting along won't be enough and I needed a sinus lifting now, redirected me to another doctors to do a sinus lifting cause it's complicated procedure and she doesn't know how to do it herself, where beside sinus lifting i've paid another 550$ for the second bone grafting and suffered 2nd gum pain and stitches for another week: 3. 05/09/19 D4263, Tooth 14, Bone graft first tooth per quad $550.00 05/09/19 D7951, Sinus augmentation-lateral $1,700.00 and the new dentist told me that he won't be needed those cone beam CD and casts that she did to me and he has to redo it, because of the sinus lifting. As a result of Dr Yashchuk incompetency i've suffered pain and stitches 2nd time and paid in vain $300+$391+$462+$86=$1239. P.S. My advice would be, In case you don't want to suffer the same pain 2+ times and loose money don't use this dentist or her services. Also if you, like me, experienced the same pain and lost from this dentist please contact me to discuss further actions. read more

I am a nervous wreck when it comes to going to the dentist. This dentist is so good I now feel comfortable and relaxed when I visit this office. Everyone here is so warm and nice and Dr. Yashchuk is like a hero to me!!!! She is so careful and so delicate and always checks if I am OK. I have not experienced pain at all and I am so impressed with her and her staff. I would recommend this dentist for sure if you are a scaredy cat like me!!! I made an appointment over the phone after my original appointment for cleaning was cancelled back in May - I was told that they only do cleaning on Saturdays so I had to sacrifice my weekend plans in order to make it. When I showed up for my scheduled appointment today, they told me they couldn't see me because the appointment wasn't on the books! After the exam, Tatyana Yashcuk told me that I need to do 3 fillings. It sounded suspicious to me, so I asked for a price estimation for those services and we've scheduled my next appointment to do those fillings next time, which would cost me almost $600. Luckily, I've visited another doctor before that for another exam. The doctor told me that I don't need to do any filling and that Dr. Yashcuk is a scammer and wanted to make me pay $600 for nothing. After several months from my visit, I have no problems with my teeth, so I think another doctor was right. I don't think she does that with every patient, but you need to be really cautious when you agree on treatment if you decided to visit this dentistry. read more

Simply the BEST!!! I went there after I had very bad experience at a different dentistry. I had an emergency and they received me right away. Dr. Tatyana Yashchuck is amazing! She is professional and very pleasant person to talk to. She fixed my tooth and even though it was after hours she took her time to consult me and gave advises about my dental health. Dr. Yashchuk very nice , professional and gentle . She was there for me when I had dental emergency and even regular follow up with her is very pleasant. It is very important to be with doctor who understands what they do . Tatiana has very good education and able to explain very clearly what and why needs to be done . Location is very good . I haven't even seen them yet but they will be my dentist. She was willing to help me , even though I'm not even her patient yet. Your assistants kindness to me was appreciated more than I can say. I was in pain, with a job half done, and still she would have helped. People like that are rare. Dr Yashchuk, you WILL be my dentist as soon as I can do that. Dr. Yashchuck fit me in for an emergency filling replacement (right away!) when I was in town visiting my brother. (My filling came out when I was eating a cookie. It hurt soooo much!) This is a clean establishment. Some of the people here are nice. Their policy's I don't like. To send my 19 year old son to collections because he missed an appointment is absurd. This place has made me feel uncomfortable. I will not be coming back. For the doctor to tell me" did you think this would be free" is unprofessional. I'll take my business somewhere else. read more

Dr. Tatyana is THE BEST! I have severe Anxiety, and you know how difficult is to work with people with Anxiety disorder. It was my first time visiting Dr.Tatyana's office after my former dentist retired. I had even more anxiety just because she was new to me, but her office associates and herself were so great from every aspect that made me so relax to leave me in their hand with a peace of mind! She is so professional and skilled, takes her time so patiently and with so much care that has made me to do not leave her alone for the rest of my life. I can't stress enough how thankful I am! Here is my story. On Monday I have started feeling throbbing pain under my crown, so I have scheduled an appointment to see what is going on. I live in Sacramento, so I went to a local dentist office. They took me in, did an x-ray and called endodontic specialist to decide what to. Doctor came, looked at my x-ray for 10 minutes because he wasn't sure what tooth needed to be fixed. So he said you have 2 options. 1. I can pull your tooth out, because it looks like you have an abscess, or option number 2. Apicoectomy that would cost around 2,500. or maybe he can do option number 3 where he can drill through the crown to re-do the root canal and he added, he do not recommend to do that because he will damage the crown. So I have decided to do apicoectomy because I thought that's the only choice I have. Since he said my root canal looks super good and there is no need to re-do it, he can just simply do the surgery through the gum to remove the abscess. At the check out they said I have to wait 1 month to get it done, because they are soo booked. I was shocked but agreed to whatever they offered. I was prescribed antibiotics to help fight an infection, as well as strong pain killers. Went home, next morning woke up with swollen gum and feeling dizzy. Did a little research and found Dr. Tatyana Yashchuk, they do have Facebook page as well. Also my sister recommended her to me. So I have decided to give them a call. They took me right away, same day I had my root canal done, turned out, if I would of wait for another week I could of ended up loosing my tooth or infection could of spread to other parts of my body. Dr. Tatyana definitely knows what she is doing, she is very professional and knowledgeable. I'm glad they were able to take me in with their busy schedule, and save my life and my tooth! I will recommend her to all of my friends for sure! Thank you one more time for your service! Office is very clean, stuff super friendly and knowledgeable as well. I would give Golden State Dentistry 10 stars if I could. I called on Wednesday and asked to set up an appointment ASAP since I had some sort of emergency and was feeling worried. They were booked, but the receptionist Elena found an opening for me(thank you so much!!!). She was so friendly and nice, that after I had a conversation with her, scheduled an appointment with the doctor and hang up the phone, I felt so much better about my situation. I arrived to Golden State Dentistry on Friday for my appointment. The Office is so nice, peaceful and super clean. They have a pretty aquarium with exotic fishies in it, so beautiful and relaxing. I filled out the forms, Elena and her new colleague were extremely nice, patient, friendly and professional. Thank you ladies!!! (And thank you for answering my questions after my visit, the info is so helpful:)). When I went to the room, the medical assistant Victoria came and did all the necessary procedures, it was very quick and easy with her. A few minutes after Dr. Tatyana came to introduce herself. I used to go to some dentists and they were a little snobbish. NOT Dr. Tatyana!!! She is very nice, friendly, bright and professional. She did a great job on my tooth! She is super gentle, I did not feel any pain or discomfort at all. I will definitely follow her professional recommendations and will be back to Golden State Dentistry. I think I found my Dentist!
