Dr. Gilbert took over for her and I couldn't be happier with the switch. Obviously Dr. Davis and the staff have been great... otherwise I wouldn't have kept coming here. But keeping a lot of the same great staff, with a new approach has only improved this office. They have switched over to doing everything paperless (or as close to it as possible). So on the in between appointments that don't have x-rays, they are taking good pictures of your teeth and profile for record purposes. They have also started taking blood pressure to keep those of us who don't regularly visit a doctor informed. I will emphasize that the desk staff, the hygienists, and Dr. Gilbert are so friendly and helpful throughout a process that no one ever enjoys. I am always called back fast, cleaned efficiently, and checked by Dr. Gilbert before I rush out of the door in less than an hour. I was going to be coming to this office for a while anyway. The implant I have almost felt no pain... that's how you know you have a great surgeon. The staff makes you feel calm before the surgery, and answers all questions. Her teeth are in danger of collapsing and she has had to visit numerous specialists in an attempt to find a way to remedy the atrocity this ham-fisted "surgeon" rendered in her lower jaw. When my mother's regular dentist saw what he did to her he was furious. DO NOT go to this oral surgeon. He is brutal and incompetent. He took photos, literal photos of my teeth and showed me the enlarged photos of all these little tiny lines on my teeth. He said those three teeth were about to break at any moment because of the tiny cracks in the teeth. I found out later,, THOSE MICRO LINES ARE NORMAL!!!! They're not cracks. But being unsuspecting, I trusted Pruitt, so he put in three crowns he said I needed. Why oh why did I not question this? I guess I didn't go to the dentist as a detective!!! I came as a patient hoping as usual that the dentist wouldn't hurt me. And on top of losing all that money, one of the crowns has hurt ever since. This guy should not even be in business!!!
