She suffers from severe Dental trauma and PTSD just like I do. When I told her my problem, she said Dr Senft DDS is fantastic at what he does. He is kind, patient, listens when she has concerns. She was right!! Dr Senft is kind, direct and is super transparent. He has prompt, efficient appointments *and* his shots are not that painful, super magical! Only be a 1,-3 on the pain scale. His office staff is very friendly, welcoming and there's lots of natural light. He and his staff are kind, respectful and accommodating. There's no smell of novocaine, no screaming, and he keeps a a great selection of mellow classic rock songs playing in the background every time I've been so far. Today was my second visit, and it was fantastic! Seriously, he fixed cavities in five of my teeth in just a few hours. And for a reasonable price! So already, this is shaping up to be pretty great! Dr. Senft himself is a genuinely kind dentist, knows very well what he is doing, and wants to help his patients not just collect a paycheck. He does not rush things, but he moves quickly, which tells me he knows exactly what he's doing. Two of the last dentists I saw told me I needed a crown on my front left incisor. I didn't understand why because it was just cracked. Dr Senft took one look at the tooth in question then asked , "Why do you need a crown? I can fix that for you today - t'll be fine.! He did an awesome job! And now I don't have to hide my smile when I do my sales job. This is great! I'm already feeling the change in earnings. I have major PTSD, Post traumatic stress disorder as well as Panic Attack and generalized anxiety disorder. The cause was mostl a *bad* dentist my mom forced me to go to as a kid. My childhood Dr (Dr Y for short) was *painful*, he stretched my lips until they bled because his fingers a were so big he could not work on my mouth without doing it. He also hurt my jaw on numerous occasions by forcing it open too far. His office reeked of novocaine. Dr Y's shots were an eight or nine on the pain scale and I screamed snd crird even though I do have a high pain tolerance. After a while my pediatric dentist started bringing me into a separate soundproof room so the other victims...aka patients couldn't hear me screaming. He also very securely strapped me into that chair although I have not and never will be a violent person nor ever hit anybody.. I don't think that's legal honestly but, that was in the 1980s When I turned 18 naturally I chose to go to different dentist. . For the last 38 years, whenever I have visited a dentist, my body goes into fight or flight (panic mode). I immediately soak with a large layer of sweat. I have literally soaked seven dentist chairs by this point (45/f now). I've had several dentists remark that they've never seen anything like it. Yeah, that pediatric dentist Dr Y tortured me. I've been bringing a large cotton towel to place on the dental chair to absorb my sweat. I almost always also have to change my clothes after my appointments too. Omg. Today was my second visit at Dr Semft's office and I barely sweated! This is huge. Based on poor advice of my mother, who said that getting an implant was easier than getting a crown, I chose to have my Rt incisor removed 5 years ago and an implant put in its place. Big mistake. The guy was a well-known very experienced oral surgeon, he removed my tooth wonderfully, but he did not pack the bone enough in my jaw. He did apologize to me. When I came back, he said he would have to reopen my jaw, pack more bone in there, then let it heal, and then he can finally place the post. I was just not okay with that. Dr Senft said that he would be as painless and as efficient as possible, and I believe him. 10/10. I almost hate to write this review because I'm afraid that now his calendar will be more booked, but he deserves our full props. And you deserve a kind dentist who will treat you well. Thanks again Dr Senft!! I'll be back!

The Dentist told me that my rear crown was old and rotting away in my mouth!…read moreYUCK! So we set up an appt and that was today. It took about two hours to do the whole job and it was awesome. Ryan is an artist as well as a dentist. he made my new crown right there in the office in about 45 minutes. it is so beautiful that i asked if i could take a picture of it. I am hone right now and my appt was 7 hours ago. i feel great with no pain. Thank You for the Great service and see you in 6 months.

I've also needed to come in for a fill for my tooth, and staff is quick to accommodate based on my schedule. I enjoy the friendly staff, clean space, and prompt reminders for appointments. All of which was increasingly lacking at that time - and which made us dread a dentist visit! We were very fortunate to find Dr Iyad Bakdach and his Sunnyvale Smiles practice, and are now devoted clients. How do they manage to meet our four requirements? How do they provide such excellent, friendly service without charging an arm, a leg, and two night guards? Part of it must be the team itself: Dr B and his two dental assistants, Rosie and Flor. There's no extra front-office staff - Rosie and Flor handle all the paperwork, appointments, etc. as well as being very competent at their main job. Dr B does the cleaning himself rather than using a dedicated hygienist, which enables him to regularly assess conditions. And he has a network of colleagues for specialist work such as implant surgery. Dr Bakdach's team was located in Sunnyvale when my wife first enrolled about two years ago -- hence the name -- though they moved to their much-improved office in Mountain View soon after. Since she had spent some years prior avoiding the dentist, it was great that Dr Bakdach was very reassuring. And I was so impressed that I moved to Sunnyvale Smile Care too. They were mindful of my financial situation and didn't push me to do any operation I wasn't comfortable with. As other reviewers have noted, Fran is a sweetheart and makes you feel very welcome as soon as you step into the office. Dr. Lew did a fantastic job making sure I was comfortable by explaining the steps he was taking during the operation. We have had many dentists in the past, but Dr.Schuck stands out as one of the best. He is funny, he's very kind and empathetic to my kids needs and mine too. Both my kids are scared of needles. And I hate dental work being done. Period. Hate it!! However, he and his staff make us feel safe and comfortable. He also is very good with the way he administers his pain killers via shot. I have never had a more pleasant injection in my mouth Lol. My son who had a couple fillings done today, did not want to be numbed. He sat there for 20 minutes getting his fillings. Doctor schuck is very gentle. Takes it nice and slow and let's the kids stop or take breaks if they need to. Although my kids have never needed to take a break. He is always checking in on them to make sure it's pain free and they are comfortable. We greatly appreciate doctors like this. Doctors who really listen to their patients and care. My husband and I always wish we could have him be the one who does all of our work. And best of all, my kids aren't scared of the dentist!! We are so happy to have found dr. Schuck!
