Dr. Tresley's website indiocates that his entire staff is a family, there to serve as a team and to meet the needs of the patient. How true! From the receptionist who greeted me and provided me with the necessary paperwork and then to each person to whom I was handed off, I sensed that each knew and each cared. When my insurance denied coverage, Kathy, the surigical coordinator, was determined to right a perceived wrong. She filed an appeal on my behalf and won! Although I was told that the procedure I needed was a simple one, there is always trepiidation when undergoing something medical for the first time. Instead of trivallizing my concern, Dr. Tresley and his staff treated me with empathy and understanding while assuring me I had nothing to fear...really! The kindness shown as I was being prepared for the procedure put me more at ease than did the medication I was given to do just that. Dr. Tresley came in and, as at my first meeting with him, was both professional and compassionate. As he began to stitch up my drooping eyelid he spoke to me as well as to his very capable assistant, Their confidence in what they were doing was palpable as was their goal of doing what they were doing perfectly. The post-op instructions were presented in written form. Each step was gone over verbally, all questions answered fully and with respect. I was given pain medication but encouraged to first try Tylenol should there be pain. I never needed anything, because there was no pain! I followed the directions faithfully because I wanted to be aas successful in my recovery as was Dt. Tresley in his surgery. Less than five days later, I see the physical difference in my formerly drooping eyelid as it rises to be equal to the other. I am beyond delighted with the results and with the excellent care I received from all those in the office. I was initially recommended to him, by my opthomaligist as I have a problem with my eye lids turning in. This is a very common issue, but you have to go to an eye surgeon who treats this type of problem. All I can say is that I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful doctor, and an even more wonderful staff. All my working life was spent in the medical field. My opinion is the staff is as important as the doctor. If you can't get passed the staff, then why go to the doctor. In the years that I have been a patient, I have been treated like the most important person in the office. When I call for an appointment, it's as if the person on the other end of the phone knows exactly who I am. I get an appointment that is convenient for me, both day and time. Yes, there are times I have had to wait. However, this is a doctors office. I have had to be brought in for an emergency visit, which certainly delays the patient after me. It happens at all doctors offices. And, I have always been told if the doctor is running late. But, with this aside, the professional, kind, caring, expert attention I have received has been beyond anything I have experienced in a very long time. Dr. Tresley performed lower lid eye surgery. The pockets under my eyes made me look old and tired and I wanted to go to a Dr. that only performed eye surgeries. I had visited another ocular plastic surgeon who said that she always removes the fat under the eye. Dr. Tresley takes each case and determines what is best. He moved the fat and used it to transition my upper cheek to my eye. It has been 10 days since surgery. The surgery was performed in his office and I was not in any pain. I only had one stitch on each cheek to keep the transferred fat in place. He did the surgery without any under eye stitches. In addition, I did not need any pain medicine afterwards. I had no bruising. I had laser performed under the eyes to remove fine lines and wrinkles and this was the piece that required time for healing. I am a bit pink under the eyes still, but it is very apparent that my surgeon did a spectacular job. The staff and nurses were very helpful. I took pics and sent them via email when I had questions on the third day. A nurse saw me the day after surgery. I saw Dr. Tresley on the fourth day out and again today when he removed the stitch on each cheek. I will see him again in 3 weeks when I suspect my eyes will look even more amazing! read more

We are very lucky to have a specialist this good so close to home! My sister and I were very concerned when we were given the news that the fast growing skin lesion on our mother's face near the corner of her left eye was malignant and would require surgical removal. Our fears deepened when we were told that excising the cancer would leave a big defect which might be disfiguring. As a physician (in another specialty) I was fearful of what lay ahead for my mother. She was referred to Dr. Tresley for consultation. He saw our mother and advised us that he could surgically repair the affected area and leave her looking good. The reconstruction required a same day 'in and out' hospitalization. With the help of Dr. Treasley's friendly and attentive staff arranging the consultation, procedure, and follow up was easy. I visited Dr. Tresley for a procedure covered by insurance due to symptoms associated my autoimmune disease. Upon arrival, I provided my new insurance card, which they accepted without indicating any potential issues or additional costs. Months later, I was shocked to receive a bill over $1,000 more than the usual cost. Worse, I got a voicemail falsely accusing me of not providing my new insurance information. After numerous calls, it became clear they had mistakenly billed my old insurance and couldn't rectify it with my new one. Although they apologized for their billing error, they refused to adjust the bill. While still disputing this charge, the full amount was charged to my credit card without warning or consent. Despite knowing their mistake cost me hundreds of dollars, I was left to bear the financial burden. I would never have undergone the procedure had I been informed it would cost more than ten times the usual amount. Their handling of the situation showed a blatant disregard and lack of consideration for me as a patient. I am extremely disappointed with how this office managed the issue. I went to see him and knew immediately that they were right. I went in for an upper eyelid lift the following week. I had my surgery on April 13, 2015 at 9:15 am. Everything went perfectly as scheduled. Dr. Tresley, nurses. And all staff could not have been nicer. They made me very comfortable and was done and on my way home by 11:30 am. It's been one week and all stitches are out with very little bruising and swelling. Dr. Tresley is a tremendously gifted plastic eye surgeon. I had cosmetic surgery on my upper eye lids in November. It was part cosmetic and part medical. I was quite nervous about the procedure. I had 2 pre-op visits and between Dr. Tresley and his staff I felt very comfortable. The day of the surgery Dr. Tresely and his staff did everything to make the procedure smooth, and it was pain free. The post-op instructions were very clear, and I was able to followed them exactly. I'm 70 years old and I've had heavy bags under my eyes and droopy upper lids for at least half of my life. on 7/13 I had upper and lower eyelid surgery. Everyone can be nervous but sitting in the office I knew I was in good hands. No pain and in less than 2 weeks the results are amazing. Dr. Tresley did an upper and lower Blepharoplasty along with fat repositioning on my lower eyelids. The results are very natural and beautiful I couldn't be happier with them.
