Whenever I have had wrinkle relaxers or filler with him he makes sure I leave happy and comfortable and reassures that if anything needs a tweakment or adjustment I can come back. Ellen in the front is so very nice and everyone is very professional without being stuffy, more so than almost any other doctor that comes to mind. I've since moved out of state but I'm trying my hardest to line up my home visits with my maintenance visits so I can continue to see Dr. Gutowski.

After asking to speak to the manager Alyssa today, the front desk person hung up on me because she cannot control her emotions nor can she stand the truth she was being told. If this office keeps her employed any longer they are clearly showing their true intentions towards patient/client care which is hostile and toxic. Very upsetting and disappointing how this office is ran now. Been coming here for years for facials and the unprofessionalism I have experienced here is outrageous. WOW! Shame on you Kelly! I went to her for a consult for Coolsculpting. First point, I actually met with her! She is a very prominent and experienced physician. She took her time and was very methodical in her approach. I was upset at first because she wouldn't do as I asked, and amazed that she seemed to be refusing business. That said, we agreed to start with one area and a month later, I am beginning to see results, which is right on schedule. I look forward to continuing my procedures. She didn't want me to spend money unless there was certainty as to its effectiveness. Contrast that experience with visits to other "CoolSculpting" providers. I was asked to provide far too much information for simply a "consult." I was not seen by a doctor. The PA (I believe) came in and noted all sorts of areas could be done and was pushed in to a "package deal." I was about to plunk down the money and thought at the last minute to think about it. On my way home, I thought Dr. Casas' experience was far more genuine, more knowledgable, not pushy, very scientific in her approach, even if it meant losing or delaying business. I understand some people may require a second treatment and I am ok with that. I was told a follow up treatment would cost half the price of $1000. I call the office and was told that I had to pay the full treatment price again of $2000. This felt like a bait and switch and disappointed because I was going to bring my son in for the same treatment. I am now back to square one and felt like I wasted $2000 for no reason when I could have gone to another clinic with better service. He and his nurse, Lauren, took SO much time talking to me, showing me pictures, telling me about his practice, and explaining why his procedure was so unique. Lauren and Lindsay are warm, friendly, skilled professionals that aren't intimidating or uppity in any way. Such a different vibe than a previous doctor that I'd seen. Healing takes time and comes in phases, so I needed to be talked off the ledge a few times with a gentle reminder to just be patient. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Byun. He is an amazingly talented, detail oriented 'perfectionist' surgeon that performs cutting edge signature procedures that will no doubt be copied and become the norm in the plastic field. I had reacted badly to some prescription steroid creams in the past, so when the pharmacy wanted to give me the same refill, Dr. Lack called and spoke with them directly to make sure I didn't get the excipient (non-active ingredient) I was reacting badly to. The only complaint I have is they always seem to be running late, even at 9:00 AM. I always plan to be there at least an hour, even for a checkup. They put me in a waiting room right away, but then I wait...and wait. If you have skin (or other issues - check the website), the staff is knowledgeable and courteous, but expect to wait. Oh, and the woman who calls to confirm appointments and sometimes works the desk is named Isis. It makes me feel like I'm in some kind of soap opera universe :)

My internist tried to refer me to plastic surgeons he knew to no avail. One doctor refused to see me because he did not perform the original procedure and one had an opening weeks too far away. 2 others told me on the phone to go to the ER and this was not an emergency, just a follow-up. I found Dr Gutowski on-line, called his office, and he saw me that day. I have regularly seen him since then for other procedures, including Xeomin. I grind my teeth, and he uses Xeomin to relax my grinding muscles; it is a real game changer. I trust him and his skills implicitly. I regularly asked him for suggestions for procedures or asked about specific cosmetic treatment, and more often than not, would not recommend it for me and/or say I didn't need it. His office offers so many treatments and procedures. I moved out of state but when I know I will be visiting Illinois, I will schedule an appointment for more cosmetic care. I miss him, his staff, and the beautiful medical spa in Glenview Illinois.

I scheduled a consultation in February, after the Doctor listened to my concerns, she recommended a Halo Laser treatment to promote collagen growth combined with BBL for dark spots spots due to aging. While she made recommendations that would give me the best long term results, she completely respectful of my right to make the decision. I was extremely anxious about a laser treatment because I had a fraxel laser treatment a number of years ago that resulted in scarring that was slow to heal. I was worried about downtime and potential damage. Dr. B told me downtime was 5 days and I am a slow healer so I was skeptical. I asked about the number of procedure they had done and they definitely had the completed significant number so I chose the Halo Laser with BBL for my face, neck and chest. I recommend Halo because the procedures are doctor supervised and the treatments were performed by a laser technician that had done over 100 procedures. My face, neck and chest were numbed and I thought the procedure was minimally painful, and the discomfort was tolerable. Included in the treatment plan were medications that would minimize related ancillary issues, i.e. cole sores, swelling. Additionally they included products to speed recovery. Over and above, I got a text message the next day, SUNDAY, to check on me and asked for pictures to see my progress! The practice followed up for the next days. I have had procedures with other doctors and couldn't even get a call back so I thought this was exceptional. True to their word, I was able to be on a Zoom call three days later. My tenacious brown spots disappeared or were significantly lightened. My eye area looks better and it takes several months to fully appreciate the benefits of collagen growth. My friend said I looked refreshed, relaxed and overall better. I highly recommend the Halo Laser and BBL treatment and this is the place to go.
