If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Had a bad head cold and a clogged ear that turned into a 3 day experience with Vertigo. Told Dr. Samadi that I really just need something to unclog my ear to help ease the vertigo systems that were persistent for 3 days. What led next can be described as nothing more than a $$$ grab. He made what should have been a routine diagnostic and decongestant prescription into Screening me for Cancer? What?!! Checking my hearing patterns and sending me for an ear scan. Then started to tell me that it looks like I broke my nose and my septum is out of whack and we should schedule an appointment, in a month, to check that because it can lead to severe consequences. This is the worst experience i ever had, My daughter need a clearness paper for hearing aid, SHARYAR D SAMADI name shows in Aetna and Horizon NJ network , but when we arrived , they said they go through Primary insurance only, the dont go through second insurance, why dont they told us when we made appointment in the beginning , so in the end we have to pay $235 for a medical clearness with 2 insurance coverage . Then the office called to threaten me : if we dont pay in 2 weeks , they will pulled our account into a collection, if they just want the money, they should not participate to a Medicaid network . read more

I came to see Dr. Samadi 2 years ago for a simple wax cleaning. I assumed my insurance covered this visit as he was in-network. 2 years later... I receive a bill for almost $300 with $65 in fees from a collections agency. My credit I'm sure will be impacted. I call the office because I have never received a bill for this... And they tell me they can't even look in my account since it was sent to collections. It doesn't matter that I haven't gotten one notice of this bill.. I'm told there's nothing they can do. I get the itemized bill from collections, and I get to see that for my 10 minute wax cleaning they charged my insurance a "new patient extended" on top of the charge for the wax removal, and my insurance only covered a little over half of that "extended appointment" amount. I'm a very organized person and make all of my payments promptly. This bill wasn't even slightly familiar. I had to think for a while to even remember what I had gone for and how long ago. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated that the fact that this office isn't on top of their billing means that I'm paying fees and getting a hit to my credit. Nevermind the fact that the amount I owe is inflated by this "extended" new patient appointment. Then add the office's unwillingness to help with this matter in any capacity. I am a new patient of Dr. Samadi's and he fits the description of most doctors that have been practicing for many years (not all) where he doesn't express too much interest in what the patient has to say and can be sarcastic but I don't take it personal. He is professional, knowledgeable, and straight forward which is what matters most. The front desk personnel have been nice to me the times that I have been to the office. Bonus: It is very spacious and always clean. Also.... remember to bring a mask because when I visited recently they charged me $1 for a mask! read more

Then, they refused to refund the my payment for hearing aids after the insurance company reimbursed for them. We are talking about $5,500. I have been a patient here for 1 year. Dr samadi did my surgery May 2022. one year later here I am as if I didn't have surgery already. I made an appointment I didn't have anyone to watch my kids. After being put in a room with my 2 children 10 mins later I was kicked out saying I has to wait in the waiting room as my children were messing up the room. i have never been so humiliated in my life EVERRRR. Other patients were being put before me. My appointment was at 4:45 it is now 6:00pm and I have yet to be seen.This is also a pediatrician ENT how do the workers not have patience for children. I went in to see Dr. Daniel Samadi and I was shocked of the clear lack of education and knowledge he had! He didnt even offer the proper testing for what I came in to get checked! Not one test was offered! He literally just looked at me, said i have acid reflux which was not even a listed symptom i had even mentioned!! Then he told me to just leave. He didnt even LOOK in my mouth! He was also very unprofessional, and rude to me the minute I saw him. I gave him a friendly greeting and he literally snickered at me. Then he proceeded to make condescending comments about my insurance. I cant believe he had the NERVE to even say anything like that. My general impression of Dr. Daniel Samadi was that, He demonstrated the lack of will to put ANY effort into his job. For a pediatric doctor, this place is a disgrace. I had to sit ON THE FLOOR in the waiting room among other floor patients with my 1 year old because they were so backed up there were no seats. We waited over 2 hours before I finally gave up and left. Staff was rude and fighting with me for being upset my 1 year old with an ear infection hasn't been seen yet and it was 6pm. Believe all the low rating reviews. This guy is the absolute worst. His staff is just as pitiful. Initial phone call I had to tell the person to slow down. It is a mainly spanish speaking staff that talks so fast it will make your head spin. Same experience when I arrived after waiting five minutes to be buzzed in to office. 45 minute wait. Pre-screened by one staff member. Asked some inane questions more than once. Audio testing by another staff member that was poorly administered. Her method of administering the test was so predictable, I could fake the exam and she wouldn't know. Finally, I met with Dr. Samadi. He is just downright miserable. I had to listen to him complain about "Obamacare" several times. Totally unprofessional. When I asked about hearing aids, I was gven a ridiculous estimate for wait time if I went through insurance (mine covers them). Premium hearing aids through him would only take a few days. He really seemed to try to sell me his services to provide them. I'm glad I didn't buy through him. I got my clearance for hearing aids from him and couldn't get out the door fast enough. I went to another provider that dispenses hearing aids. Got another hearing test that was VERY thorough. The audiologist was more informative than Dr. Samadi and his audiologist. We went to there for my son adenoid problem last year. He was so careless and rude for my son! He just asked me some questions and then he did nasal endoscopy to my son mercilessly!!! Went in for a 20 minute consultation with my 1 year old son, received a medical bill for over $1,700 for multiple tests run on my son without my knowledge of the cost. When I called the office to question the charges, the billing specialist, Rachel, was extremely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. She said, these was the services that were charged and they must be paid for. I took my son to another doctor, ran similar tests and it cost me $11 out of pocket. Honestly, I blame ourselves for this experience for not seeing the signs and walking away. My daughters ear infection was less painful then this visit. Reviews are there to tell you as is it. 1.5 hour wait and they try to stall you every 15-20min with a question to make it seem like your next to see the doctor. I would leave 0 stars if I could. My experience at Dr. Samadi's was a complete disaster. I went in for a hearing test for my 2 year old daughter. During my first appointment with this doctor, they did every examination possible (so they can bill more) and then did an allergy test without even consulting with me or asking me if I'd have had one for her in the past. I received a bill for nearly $1,300 about 2 weeks later and that's with having insurance. The doctor told me my daughter had fluid in her ears and needed her adenoids, and tonsils removed as well as tubes in her ears. He also suggested to have surgery on her nasal passages. 4 surgeries on a perfectly healthy 2 year old child sounded very suspicious to me.. I called in to speak with someone in billing about the charges I was billed for. The girl had the "manager" Rachel call me back. I simply told her that I wanted to see if we could work out a discount for me since I didn't think it was right that they didn't consult with me about the allergy test which costed me $600 out of pocket and asked for a discount. She was the rudest lady I have ever met, laughed at me, mocked me and threatened to have me sent to collections right away if I didn't want to pay the whole amount (I had just made a $500 payment the day prior to this). I went in to the office to speak with them in person that same day because I was so angry at the disrespectful way she spoke with me. I insisted the doctor call me right away... The doctor called me and told me "the most important thing is your daughters surgery, she needs it very badly" and that he would give me a $176 discount IF I had the surgeries through him.. The greed at this doctors office disgusts me. I will be filling a complaint with the board of health, consumer affairs and the BBB. I advise anyone STRONGLY to not go to this doctor unless you want bad advice and have a lot of money. I went to a different ENT the next week and he was great. Suggested a nasal spray which worked very well and I do not need surgery for my daughter. There's a reason why 8 people have left 1 star reviews on this doctor. It is true that a best practice is to call the insurance company prior to going so you know what you will be paying, which I did. It is also true that when you schedule an appointment for a hearing test, and then an allergy test is performed without your permission, the doctor's office is trying to maximize profits and not taking the customer's best interest into account. Especially when an allergy test had already been done prior to the visit and if the doctor would've asked, he would've found that out. Also, when customer service (such as Rachel As you will see in other reviews) is so rude and disrespectful, the customers will most likely never go back to that practice again. This office is a mill for pediatric patients! The staff is unprofessional and rude. The waiting room is full of patients and air is stuffy; no concern for patients' needs. Staff does not care about patients. Despite calling and confirming they run in time before choosing this doctor, I waited 2.5 hours during my first visit. Every visit after that was the same issue. Even during surgery day I had to wait over an hour. Had an appointment for significant post op bleeding the next day after surgery and I was left in the waiting area for almost and hour. Eek! Methinks not. This is the 2nd time I visited this office, only having to wait over an hour while being the only patient in the waiting room..Both times, it was recommended that I schedule a PT visit which had nothing to do with my appt..Only to find out it's a relative that does.PT ..I expressed no interest, but over 2 years later and still recv'ng follow up calls. This time, I made the appt with the DR..but after over an hour, the PA attended. I was told later the DR does not see patients on the appt day..!(why wasn't I informed of this when my appt was initially made??.. there was also no mention of needed PT the PA during the quick 10 minute, the most. I am now recv'ing follow up calls for PT scheduling, again. Although, minimal but I was also charged extra for using a credit card!! ( never, any other doctor has done this!)the office workers who seemed fine,but the 'practice' seems quite more concerned about $$$ than their patients :( read more

Looking at the reviews honestly surprised me of what people said about this office. Personally I've never waited hours to be seen, every time I walked in and a minute of waiting, I'd be in already but my appointment were early in the morning at 7:30am to be fair. In addition Dr.Samadi never demanded me to get surgery he simply asked me if I wanted to get my problems treated and explained to me what it was. However, the reason why I give him a 4/5 stars is because one thing I do have to agree on is his communication skills, he was a bit intimidating when I was asking questions and the looks. The one star is overall score because Dr Samadi is a good doctor but if I can give a negative score for his Office manager and other staff then I would. They deal with kids and have 0 consideration. We drove over 45 minutes after taking the day off of work, that's both parents. Got stuck in traffic and called to say we'll be 15 min late and we're told that's fine. When we got there we waited another 25 minutes just to be told that the person to measure my child for ear plugs left. Then the office manager walked out on a war path. I have entrusted Dr. Samadi with my children for 15 years. He is honest, sweet, raw and never sugar coats anything. Is that not what you want for your children? Someone who is an expert in their field and knows what is best for your child. Both my kids have had a host of medical issues and surgeries and I have trusted Dr. Samadi every step of the way. Two years ago, he even saved my son's hearing when another doctor diagnosed it as an ear infection. The wait can be painful sometimes but trust me, it is worth every minute. My son was misdiagnosed by his original ENT for the first 5 years of his life. We were recommended to Dr. Samadi in the summer of 2004. He asked questions and ordered tests that the first doctor never did, and immediately diagnosed his problem, which, had it gone unchecked, would have resulted in facial paralysis and complete hearing loss. Since then, Dr. Samadi has done several surgeries on my son and with great result. I have also taken my other 2 children to see him for consults and treatment. Throughout the 14 years, Dr. Samadi has moved offices twice and I don't disagree with some of the other reviews about wait time. However, in his current office, we have not had a problem and I usually try to get the 1st appointment of the day or right after lunch. A 5 minute visit, where he stops in and doesn't even recognize your child 4. I want to start by saying that I've never left a review for anything ever. But I could not walk away from this experience without warning this mans future patients. I was referred to this office by my doctor. It was for a simple ear cleaning. I had an appointment for 11:45, I showed up at 11:30 and the waiting room was packed. There were a lot of children. My appointment time came and went and I still sat there waiting patiently. After an hour and a half of waiting I asked the receptionist what was going on. She was shockingly rude and I asked why I even made an appointment if they were going to overbook like this. I sat back down and finally was called into an exam room around 1 and proceeded to wait in there for another hour!!! The doctor finally sauntered in at 2pm over two hours after my scheduled appointment!!! The waiting was horrible but it was still the most pleasant part of this visit. The doctor was unbelievably rude, condescending, and held this indignant anger towards me for reasons unbeknownst to me. I'm assuming it was for questioning their appointment book?!!?! (A)There is zero notification before you arrive at the office that there will be$3.95 surcharge if you pay your copay with a credit or debit card. (B) the staff is incredibly inattentive and rude. Don't expect staff to lead you to your room. They ask you to come in and expect you to figure out where you room is. I didn't see the dr until after an hour and 15 mins after I'd arrived. Terrible experience here this morning. First of all, the place is filthy. Second of all, a $3.95 fee for using your credit card (which I am sure is not legal). Then, the wait- half an hour past appointment time to go into the examination room. 45 minute wait in the examination room. Then I poke my head out, only to see someone who came in well after us, walking out after being seen. Then, I ask a woman in a lab coat what the deal is and she says "you are next." So I went to the desk to find out why some woman was telling me I am next, when my appointment was with Dr. Samadi. The Answer? Dr. Samadi isn't even in the office! She is the P.A and she will be seeing my daughter. I didn't make an appointment with a P.A.- I made an appointment with a doctor. I demanded a refund and left and they had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to reschedule!!!!
