Danielle at Danielle Grooms is the most amazing, kind, and professional groomer we've ever had. She only work with one dog at a time to keep the dog's stress levels to a minimum. Her shop is clean and nicely decorated. She's always been very receptive to all of our questions and ideas about trimming our best friend, Henry. What a gem! Danielle is fantastic. I took my Yorkie in because if a referral. I was so pleased. Danielle was just a sweet young lady and answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable about leaving my little baby there. The entire grooming didn't last more than an hour and a half and my Benny boy did so well and was so comfortable with her. He definitely can be nippy and a handful sometimes. Recently I had the wonderful experience of having my little, old, ragged, cranky, rescue pup Chester get spoiled rotten by Danielle. Danielle met me at my car with a mask on and socially distanced for a mini introduction to Chester. I could tell immediately that she is familiar with how to deal with dogs. Both of their faces lit up immediately. Previously Chester shakes like a madman when arriving at an unfamiliar location with a new person--not this time! She does have seven years of grooming experience under her belt. During the time of his "Bath & Blowout," I received adorable photos of Chester's process (shared below). She was somehow able to brush his teeth (must have been the peanut butter toothpaste!), trim/dremel his nails, AND clean his waxy ears (very thoroughly I must add)! I have previously had other groomers return my dog saying that they weren't able to do so--even though my pup has no teeth to bite with and doesn't bark whatsoever... Danielle used the De-shed specialty shampoo/conditioner and a week later he STILL smells nice and isn't shedding like normal. Not only does Danielle Grooms provide haircuts and care, but also dog walking, overnight stays, AND play/feed house visits. I can tell she going to become besties with Chestie. I love to have her as a local, female-owned business right here in Santa Barbara. I hope to continue supporting Danielle and to see her succeed in transitioning into a mobile dog grooming company as she hopes to do. She's been our dog and house sitter for the last year is totally reliable, leaves our dog and house clean and Xena LOVES her (so do we). She's super active and would take Xena on hikes and runs with her. We were thrilled when Danielle recently launched her new grooming business. Our 1 1/2 year old, Xena, is a water and mud loving yellow Lab....which typically are easy to groom. NOT Ours. Despite lots of positive reinforcement training, it has still been impossible to have Xena's nails trimmed, ears cleaned, and teeth cleaned. Luckily, we've always been able to wash and towel dry Xena. Danielle - the miracle worker, did some magical, de-shedding treatment for Xena, and brought her back all soft and looking like a super model pup. This whole last week....NO hair on our wood floors!
