We recently stayed at a great RV park in Falcon so that our pup could have hip surgery in Colorado Springs. Because of his fluff, I wanted him to be groomed and handsome for the vet. This is a small town and there isn't a lot of choices - especially at the last minute. Linda was very gracious to our situation and made an appointment for us despite her full schedule. She gave our ruf-ruf a nice lion cut which will help him not look so patchwork-like while his fur grows back. It's been a month since his grooming and surgery and we still get daily compliments on his lion "do". Linda's place consists of a cute little bungalow in a residential area. The place is quaint and clean and BUSY. People know where to go for their pet grooming needs. If you call, don't panic if you have to leave a message. She did return our call promptly. read more

If I could, I would give no stars. I took my dog to this groomer a couple of months ago and was not happy at all. First she gave me an appointment for 8am, and my husband and I dropped her off before that. We told her we'd be back in 2 hours, but she said it would be longer than that. So my husband and I came back 4 hours later and our dog was not ready. She claimed she had other dogs there before her, but I only saw 1 dog there. After telling us it would be another 2 hours, we left and came back about 2 hours later. We were getting frustrated and upset because we figure if you give us an appt for 8, it means that she should be taken care of at that time or close to it. My husband mentioned that to her and she got really mean.( In the beginning she was all sweet, with her fake smiles.) She then said It would be at least another hour. After an hour, we decided to take her with us whether she was ready or not. Too many trips and we did not live close by. Her haircut was so choppy and uneven that even our neighbor asked who butchered our dogs hair. That's how bad it was. We picked her up about 4pm, and was told she had trouble grooming her because she had peed and pooped on herself. Well what do you expect after keeping her in a cage for hours on end?? Did you even think about taking her out to go potty, beings that she was stuck in there for so long? Was this something new she had to deal with??? I mean she's supposed to be professional. My poor baby Pekinese was so anxious and nervous and was shaking pretty bad. At home, she would also yelp every once in a while, even in her sleep. We think she was probably mistreated since the woman seemed frustrated even though it was her own fault. We did nothing wrong. Our baby went through a horrible experience and we will never take her back there again. If you care about your pet, you should avoid this place. In our opinion, she is very unskilled and unprofessional. Not only was she grouchy with me, but also with my husband. She is not a good groomer, and needs to learn how to be courteous and honest with customers. read more

We LOVE Linda and her crew! Every time we take our chihuahua in, he gets so excited and is super happy to see her. His trims are always super cute and well done. I always recommend Linda to friends looking for a new groomer. The small operation allows for a more personal connection and Linda knows the dogs by name, even if she doesn't know ours! After a horrible experience with a different groomer in town I was so scared to leave my pup with anyone else again!! Linda was recommended by a friend and OMG she was amazing! I love this place, as you walk in, it has a comfortable homey feeling. This was the first time going here and Snickers is a nervous dog, but Linda and Shelby were so patient with her. The last time I Took my yorkie to Linda's, he came back with an injured back. I thought it was a coincidence until my friend took her own Yorkie to Linda and he also returned injured. My friend called Linda to speak about the incident and of course Linda denied any wrongdoing. I ended up paying $255 vet bill for x-rays and medicine, and my dog will remain with the permanently injured back. read more

As much as our "Buddy" does not like being separated from us, he is never stressed after being at Linda's. They do an awesome job. I highly recommend Linda's; we won't take our dogs anywhere else. We take our miniature and giant schnauzers, and since switching to Linda's, our (somewhat shy and apprehensive) dogs love their experiences. Our giant had to be carried into the groomer's before, as she hated it so much, but since we started going to Linda's, she trots happily in the door on her own. Linda really cares about the experience from the dog's perspective, and they are always exquisitely groomed. Linda is always amenable to working out anything specific you might want or need, knows what is safe and correct for each breed/style and the dogs love her. Furthermore, my work schedule is just a little hectic at times and Linda is so kind and works with me to make it easy to drop off and pick the dogs up. read more
