I told them and they went above and beyond the call of duty to help me figure out the issue, document it for insurance, even calling the manager of the other oil place and explaining everything without me even having decided to have the problem fixed at Kwik Kar! I decided to have them fix the situation and they were incredibly detailed and professional. They documented everything they found that was in indicator of how the other oil place messed up and gave me all the documentation I needed. They treated me incredibly well... beyond anything I could have expected and gave me the highest level of support I could imagine... when it was all said and done i was simply charged for a regular oil change... no other automatic add ons to cover their time. The guy (who is probably the manager) said it was a 35 to 40 minute wait. I decided to press my luck and go run a 15 minute errand first, hoping the line would shorten up by the time I got back. When I returned, he still said it would be 35-40 minutes. But there were two cars ahead of me just like when I had left earlier. I asked if anyone had showed up while I was gone. He said, "yeah, that guy." I said, "Oh, so if I would have stayed, I would have only had to wait a couple of minutes. Since that guy showed up shortly after me and got right in." I wasn't upset. Kind of more of a "doh!" moment at myself for not sticking around originally. But instead of apologizing for his poor wait estimation, he went on and on lecturing me about how it's first come first serve and this is their busy time because of this and that. And then he went back on his lie and said that the car being worked on had been there the whole time. In which case, my wait would have been over an hour if I had stayed? Like I said, I wasn't even upset about the wait. That's not their fault. He was just RUDE and talking over me and cutting me off and then he said "It's fine, BABY, just go wait."
