Called in because I saw a minivan on cars.com that my wife and I were very interested in. Got connected to Trent in sales and from the first moment this guy made sure the experience was A+. He got mule a video, tested and showed every feature we asked about to verify (yes we had the sticker but still we've had issues in the past with other cars at other dealerships). Not once did he get annoyed with me or my wife asking questions, asking for more pictures, etc. He even showed us any scratches or anything he saw (used vehicle) and made sure we would not be surprised (we live far away and wanted the car transported to us). After that we decided to move forward and bought it! Throughout the whole process he kept us up to date and made sure the vehicle was clean and ready to go. Very disappointing. I negotiated a lease deal on a new truck. After signing all the necessary lease documents I was presented with a purchase agreement. The purchase agreement included terms that effectively negated the lease and required me to buy the truck. You don't need to be a corporate lawyer with 30 years experience to see the problem there. Had the lease company later objected, I would have been stuck with a contract requiring me to pay cash to the dealer. I pointed out the contradiction of asking a customer to sign two agreements, one that leased and one that bought but they refused to listen and pulled the deal. When I first walked into the building I was ready to be struck by the same old "car salesman charm". I was ready to have a salesman try to sell me this big dream about an extremely inflated priced car. That was not the case. I worked with Adrian Chambers to get a really nice used Jeep. He understood my concerns and was overall really great. Didn't try to give me that regular whiplash. His customer service alone? 5 stars. He was fantastic. The first red flag of this dealership is, here I am a month later trying to register my car and got told by the DMV I can't register it because the dealership forgot to sign my title. Which the dealership agreed to pay my late fee which is nice, also not why I'm leaving a 1 star review. There's 2 reasons for my 1 star review. For one, whoever I spoke to on the phone told me to just sign her name on my title. When I asked "will the DMV allow me to do that?" She said "well no." Because that's forgery. For two, I came in to get my title signed because I need my car registered and the manager on duty had absolutely NO customer service skills. There wasn't even a pleasant conversation or an "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" conversation. Just "here's your signed title and your check have a good one." As if this isn't a HUGE deal. I had a problem with my truck a few weeks after a service at Laura Chevrolet and they did a great job of staying in touch, ordering the parts and getting me back on the road. The service department stayed in touch and when I picked it up I was very surprised and pleased with the final cost. Initial impressions of the Chevy team was great as they had the vehicle at a good price. An easy buying process. However they did not inform me until we came to pick up the vehicle that they only had 1 keyfob, not 2. Now 6 weeks later I am still chasing them for the 2nd keyfob. Seemed like a minor inconvenience at first but now 6 weeks later I'm wondering if I'll ever receive the 2nd keyfob. So when negotiating the deal, perhaps ask first if the delivery will actually be complete! read more

We were So excited to have Laura move into Sullivan as we have been driving to the location in Illinois for years. I think the service we always receive from the staff in Illinois has spoiled us. After two decent experiences with the Service department of this dealership, I called four days ago to schedule an appointment for a check engine light servicing. On the call, I provided the diagnostic code that was collected to the service scheduler. Today, I arrived at the dealership and my vehicle was taken in. They confirmed the diagnostic code, and then proceeded to inform me that not only did they not have the required part, (a temperature sensor) but that in order to get my truck back, and not have to leave it there for a day, I had to pay a $146 charge for the diagnosis. A diagnosis I had already given them! Seems chincy and very customer unfriendly to shake down a customer for a fee for work that was not necessary, and also poor planning to not have the part available given advance notice. Dealers routinely charge customers a hundred or more dollars to plug a common diagnostic tool into their vehicle and collect a fault code from the ECU. Something any auto parts store and most backyard mechanics can do in 10 seconds. I am unlikely to return to this dealership. read more

My wife and I have bought two vehicles from the location in Sullivan, MO now. First we bought a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and now a 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. They beat every other dealer on both of these vehicles. Whenever I've had questions Collin in sales was able to get the information, and got back to me in a timely manner.
