Daniel's is a fine company which I'd the good fortune to have been referred years ago by multiple friends who were satisfied customers. Last year I had a blower motor replaced in my HVAC unit. I bought a preventative maintenance plan that renews annually for a reasonable fee and includes a Spring cleaning and inspection of my HVAC. As such, the service fee for any repair visit is waived. One never is glad to have to call for HVAC service, but this morning I called because the exhaust (top) fan was not working. Scott from Daniel's came to my rescue that same day, quickly assessed the problem, and replaced a bad capacitor with a new one Made in USA. I was back up and running about twenty minutes after his arrival. The plan that I maintain with Daniel's saved me money. Scott was a treasure! He was exceedingly knowledgeable, professional, and had wonderful customer service skills. I suspect he walks on water, modesty allowing of course, when he thinks no one's watching. Friendly home town service with out the corporate red tape. I called on a Sunday and explained that my AC was not working , the tech gave me a quote over the phone for a service call, and said he was very busy and it would be later today before he could get to me. I explained that I knew what was wrong with it and needed a capacitor, he was able to find one that an off duty tech had on his truck in my neighborhood , gave me an address and I picked it up in 10 minute. 15 minutes later I had my ac running like new. I called several times to get the tecknician back. They promised they would call me, and have not. I told office I was having problems with fan outside, needs to be replaced. A executive with Geek Squad reccomended this company. He lives near by. Well, the teck, who was very nice went straight to the air-handler. Took the blower apart. Have been having nothing but problems with banging noises. I sounds like a thousand egg beaters in my duct work. The air handler runs all day and night. The thermostat will not turn it off. I am a senior citizen, and need to have this problem solved. read more

Just our luck. We made it down to our Inverness, FL home for the season and our Heating and Air unit went out for good. I called Daniel's Heating and Air to give us an estimate to replace the heat pump and air handler. They were very professional on the phone. When the gentleman came out to check it out he was very thorough checking the old air units, circuit breakers, air handler copper tubing and more. Very courteous and just a nice guy. I received the estimate a day and a half later. The quote was what I was expecting. Nothing is cheep today but it was fair. After discussing it with my wife we decided to call back and hire them. We told them we were expecting guests so were hopeful they could do the work soon. Well we were told it would take around a month to put us on the schedule. We had no choice. The next day I received a call that they could do the install in two days. Wow was I pleased. The install day came and the two installers worked very hard and finished in the dark. I was working and great. This is not the end of the story... So... I decided to put a metal mesh on the top of the heat pump to keep the leaves out. Not good... I took out four of the small screws on the top side to screw in the metal mesh. I had to use just a little bit bigger screw. Ok done, so I thought. The next day I noticed the unit was not working. Great what did I do or was there something wrong with the unit? I call Daniel's and they were here almost before I hung up. Now comes the bad part on me. One of the screws I installed punctured the condenser. Can you imagine how I felt. I just spent thousands of dollars and look what I did... The next day I received a call from Daniel's that they were on there way out to fix the unit. We were out with our guests so I told them to come and we would be home shortly. When we got home to my surprise they were replacing the entire heat pump. Shocked is and understatement how I felt. I called the owner first to thank them for all their hard work and promptness. Oh yes how much was this mistake going to cost me. Another shock... The owner said these things happen and he has a reputation to live up to so there would me no charge. After I picked my self up off the floor I thanked him over and over again and told him I would write a great review and recommend his company to everyone I could. This is not a five star review it is a ten star review. These guys are pretty fantastic. We, unfortunately, had to replace our air and heating unit. Never a fun process given the expense and details involved in replacing such a pivotal household appliance. We had several companies come by to give estimates. All were friendly and helpful, but we went ahead and chose Daniel's. And we're happy we did! The guys came by and gave us a detailed synopsis of our problem, gave us a great price and the installers showed up on time, did professional work and cleaned the place up afterward. Didn't leave a spec of dirt behind for us to deal with. Plus, they've been friendly over the phone and have made it easy to book appointments in a reasonable amount of time. My mother purchased her AC unit from Daniel's Heating & Air Conditioning. In November 2021 she had them come out and preform a maintenance call because they told her that she had a service contract with them it would be $69.00. they came out and preformed their maintenance and charged her $69.00. On August 10 she called them and had them come out for a maintenance call and to check the thermostat was not keeping the house cool. They came out and cleaned drains & charged her $139.00 instead of the $69.00 because they had to clean the drain. A manager was to call her on two different occasions however no one has as ever returned her call. I called today to speak with the manager and ended up speaking with the RUDE receptionist. She advised that there was NO service contract and that is why it is $139.00. HMMM so why would they not charge her the $139.00 back in November 2021. We definitely will be looking for another service company. Company's like with are trying to take advantage of elderly people. read more

Excellent company to do business with. Prompt with estimate, their installers were polite and neat and did an excellent job. The electricians did an excellent job as well. Very fair price and a lot less money than the competition. We had them install a Mitsubishi mini split 18000 btu unit. The unit works great and we now can enjoy our lanai.
