If I could provide a lower rating I WOULD. In October we ordered a wedding band they had in stock to be made into rose gold instead of yellow gold to match our engagement ring. They placed the order, we paid, and told us 4-6 weeks. Never heard anything. Almost 3 months go by (wedding already past mind you) and STILL NOTHING. So husband called- they never placed the order. They place it then. Go back in person after a total of 4 months went by since October they have no update or record of order. So we thankfully got a number to someone higher up (from a different location) who actually had answers and was extremely helpful, understanding and embarrassed by our experience thus far . He himself placed the order communicated well and reached out when it was ready at the Fairfield location. We go to pick up and there is a sign because they're on lunch "back at 4:15"- of course but that's okay everyone needs a lunch, we. Will wait it's already been 6 months what's 20 more minutes? Well they didn't get back at 4:15p they came back at 4:30!!!! The lack of organization, accountability and empathy for customers is astounding. That guy Steve needs a raise, and Fairfield seriously needs to look into their employees and business practices. Will not be returning. read more

Yes I purchased a ring at Daniel's Jewelers for my wife almost have it paid off maybe two more payments the lady quoted me at $25 payment out of her mouth I have a receipt to prove it and then they're texting me that I did not make a payment I tried to reach out to them and make arrangements they were all very rude disrespectful so I went to the corporate office they were rude and disrespectful as well and now I'm finding out my diamond ring is not even a real diamond it is lab diamond these people are frauds they are disrespectful and they ain't worth a Shit!! I give them zero Stars. They were very disrespectful and the way that they talk to me yes I was very upset and I was maybe yelling a little bit but they could have been a lot more professional in the way that they approached me acting like I didn't make a payment yes I did it's not my fault that your employ quoted me a certain amount that I did pay. I am a disabled man on a fixed income so when I pay my bills I pay them in full she said it was a full payment not my fault I used to have a good experience with the older people that used to work in this facility but the people that I have dealt with lately are horrible and I will not return and I will let my family and friends know what a horrible experience that they will have if they choose to go there read more

Daniel's jewelry store racially profiled me, I went into the store to look for a men's diamond ring. I saw something interesting and asked if I could see it and whst was the price. The sales person asked me for my ID, in which I responded what do you need my ID for, she said it was the store policy to show my ID to just look at a piece of jewelry outside of the glass case. I obliged, looked at the ring, gave it back, got my license and left the store. Before leaving the mall entirely I went back into the store and made a complaint stating I was offended by their actions and if this is how they treat a potential customer, then I would never spend my hard earned money with them. I did not plan to buy jewelry this year, yet while I was shopping with my mother Christina was hanging out at the counter near the entrance and nicely chatted my mother up and was very polite, she then, of course,(it is her job) showed us some real deals, different style options listened to both of our (mostly mine) insecurities on picking out jewelry for my wife (even asked to see a pic to check out her style). I would never recommend this place for jewelry repair! I needed to get my wedding ring sized and prongs reinforced (I have never broken a prong in the 17 years of owning my ring) and found that my former jeweler had closed down and was replaced by Daniel's. I took it there and when I explained what I needed done to the sales associate, she said I needed to wait for the manager. It seemed that once she learned I was interested in repair and not a sale, she did not want to help me. After waiting some time, and with little acknowledgement, the manager finally said that this was a repair that they could do. When I got my ring back it was sized properly but a prong (which wasn't previously broken only worn) broke within 3 days. When I took it back, the manager gave me a hard time about it indicating that it was my fault ... when I asked what material they repaired with, she said it was silver like my ring (I corrected her that my ring was platinum dipped in white gold). She indicated that she would send it to her jeweler and have it back by the next week and begrudgingly that they would cover the cost "this time only", but then called me after I left and indicated that it would be over a month because she wanted the husband of the jeweler to do the work to ensure that it would be done properly. When I finally picked up my ring after being called 6 weeks later, I was told to look at it closely because they would not be responsible for any problems with the prongs and that I would not be able to come back here. It looked ok at face value, though how would I really know the durability of their work? Now, a couple of months later, after a broken prong, I am in search for a new jeweler. read more
