I won't go anywhere else for my watches for repairs and battery replacements! The first time I stepped into this business I didn't know what to expect. I hold a handful of high end watches so typically I'm a bit wary when it comes to who I hand them off too. When I walked in, David greeted me very kindly and asked how he could help. I let him know I had an old Rado that my dad had passed down to me. The battery was dead and needed regular maintenance. He told me he could replace the battery and inspect it for any other issues in might need repair for. A day later, David called me and told me the watch was fixed. He had replacement the battery and replaced the parts needed which was causing the timer to skip. He handed it back to me and also cleaned it, looking almost like new. I was taken back with joy. He was able to do all this at a reasonable cost. One week later, I came back to David with 10 of my watches which needed minor care. He did what was needed to get them running again and even offered me a fair price. David is a professional and loyal business owner. I won't be going anywhere else but to him for my watches. David has taken care of all my watch needs for the past several years since I first found him, from adjusting and changing bands for me to most recently fixing a crown I had broken, and then fixing the watch again for me after I had taken it in a hot tub at no additional charge, even though I wanted to pay him! Both times I was afraid the watch was beyond repair, but it was no problem for David. While I was waiting for the new crown to arrive my other watch broke, and David replaced the pin in the band for free, instantly giving me a watch again when I had been watch-less! I found this place on Yelp and gave them a call to see how much it would cost to have a duplicate key (transponder) made for my vehicle. I was surprised at how cheap it was because the dealership was charging almost triple of what the gentleman told me over the phone. I was a bit skeptical first, but decided to go with them because of other positive reviews. Normally I don't have access to the base, but I convinced a buddy of mine to bring me here after I offered him free lunch, hell I'm saving almost $300 anyway! Once we got to the shop a gentleman named David, who I believe is the owner, greeted us at the front counter. I gave him my information and the key and he told us it would be ready in about 5 to 10 minutes! Who knew it would be so fast? So my buddy and I ran next door to the food court to have lunch. After about half an hour, we came back and it was ready as promised. This all seemed too good to be true and added more onto my skepticism, but after about a year, the key is still working perfectly. It also has a lifetime guarantee just in case it decides to crap out.. Can't beat that! read more

The previous owner was friendly and his son that runs this place is friendly as well. I have yet to have a bad experience and we have had at least 30 different watches serviced by this place. Good watch repair places are hard to come by these days. So many places hire on kids straight out of high school and give only minimal training prior to working on pieces. I've had numerous watches scratched by mishandling by the repairmen/women. This just wasn't the case with David (the owner) at Travis Watch Repair. He's a young guy with expert knowledge on repairing watches. I got my battery and crystal replaced here. David was able to do the work without putting a scratch or nick on my black watch.
