Dr. McPherson, using her advanced MRI-type imaging system (not xrays) and thorough examination, found a problem that had been sealed in a root canal procedure 30+ years ago. Then she prescribed work, to be done (by a different specialist) that saved my tooth. This prevented more instrusive, more costly work in the future. We moved a lot, and at least 15 other dentists have taken xrays and performed exams and never noticed this. (And this is the first time in my life I didn't feel any shot to numb my mouth.) And their entire staff is super helpful and kind, from scheduling, through the pricing, to after care-- very thorough and thoughtful care all around.

Not so. The sounds/sights/smells are revolting. When we moved, I found a dentist who believes in using modern medicine. b) Trauma to one of the teeth during the bridge installation caused the need for a root canal. Because they had to drill through the bridge to get to the root, they risked breaking the bridge, forcing me to start all over. (luckily that didn't happen) c) This year, I found out that there was decay under the bridge...because it was installed incorrectly. d) Removal of the old bridge took nearly an hour because Dr. Mogle used too much cement. My new dentist had to "grind" the bridge off my teeth rather than score/remove it and sand down the remaining cement. My two hour appointment ran over into the next patient's time slot because it took so long. Last time I was at Dr. Mogle's office, the (at the time new) hygienist was so rough on my teeth that my mouth was sore for a week. I take good care of my teeth. Sorry this review is ~4 years too late to save others the same fate. Oh, and the bridge itself was gorgeous. The Dental Artist did a great job with it. Perfect color and size! Too bad it (and the root of my tooth) was ruined upon installation.

After feeling dissatisfied with my last dentist's plans for my mouth, I found myself stuck. He was one of the few that did IV sedation in office. For awhile I just let it go, but then I started having tooth pain and as I was finally in a place to actually take better care of my teeth, I needed to do something about it. My sweetie recommended his dentist, Dr. Jim at Arents Family Dentistry. OMG, Dr. Jim is just plain awesome. He was warm, friendly, and very understanding about my phobia. After my initial exam, he drew up a treatment plan that actually focused on saving those teeth that could still be saved, not just taking them all out! I am over 40 years old and had never had a root canal or had a filling because I was so used to dentists just going with the pull and go option because it was cheaper (and admittedly, I couldn't afford much else at the time). With a combination of a Valium and nitrous oxide, Jim has not only done a root canal, but pulled four really bad back teeth that were broken off at the gum line. I did not feel a single drop of pain and the visits were all pleasant! My mom would have called it a miracle, and in some ways it has. Thanks to Jim's care and excellent skill, I'm looking forward to continuing to work on my mouth and one day have a smile I'm truly proud of!

I was new to the area, went because I had a cracked molar, I paid $800 to have a crown but then was…read moretortured. The temporary crown fit fine but for some reason the lab they use to create the real one couldn't get it right. I had to keep coming back and going through the painful process of getting my temp crown off and them exposing what was left of my tooth to something painful they put on it in order to make a mold and do another 3D scan of the tooth. They called me to come back in 3 times because the permanent crown wasn't fitting at all! By the 4th visit and the crown still didn't fit right the dentist was like we are going to make this fit he was gruff and rough. I ended up with a horrible red purple bruise in my mouth where I was painfully injected with Novocain. He ground down one of my teeth above the crown also while grinding down the crown. Needless to say it never fit right, has caused me nothing but pain and discomfort. Couldn't chew well on that side of my mouth and now about 3 years later it freaking fell off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I highly do not recommend going here. I have dental ptsd now and I have to find a new dentist to fix my painful missing crown tooth!

I am concerned about the quality of care he provides for people that don't know about dentistry.
