What a fantabulous experience I had at Crystal Vision Center!! Now granted I had LASIK over 20 years ago I still like to check on my eye health every 3-5 years. From making my appt. online to the text communication everything was great. When I arrived, I was greatly promptly by the receptionist. My eye technician was Alecia. She was the sweetest young woman ever. She was very thorough in explaining all the procedures I was going to have done. She even recommended some eye drops that were better than my current ones. Dr. Mays was equally as great. He blew my mind as he told me I sleep w/ my eyes only 3/4 off the way shut & this could be creating some dryness !! WHAT ?!?! No one has EVER told me that, including the follow up at my LASIK center. He recommended several ways for me to address this. I highly recommend Crystal Vision & their team for all your vision & eye needs. I wish more businesses were this customer focused !!! read more

Crystal Vision has friendly, knowledgeable staff. The problem is their extended wait times. In my experience, every appointment requires me to wait for Dr. White for 45 minutes before she enters the exam room. Today is no exception, hence this review as I wait yet again. This time, for an hour (the staff f h godo i highly of bobby bobby ir red eroondidn't oiiicheck on me or kiiiiprovide updates). Arriving at your appointment uearlier doesn't change the wait time, either. If your schedule permits you to wait, you will receive good service. But if you are a busy professional like me, you are better suited to find another eyecare clinic that isn't overbooking patients or has more staff to assist them. Dr. White was great but it took me about 3 hours to get everything settled. Had to wait 20 min to go back and see the Dr after making an appointment and getting there early like I was told. They also tried to upsell me a bunch of things I did not need. They give $5 starbucks gift cards for 5 stars so reviews are skewed. read more

Dr. White took a great deal of time in evaluating and explaining my vision issues. Mikayla was very helpful in offering frame suggestions and in choosing my frame. She was honest in her view of the frames that worked (or didn't) for me. I was happy to find an especially strong wire frame that should last me for years. I am so very satisfied in my eye exam/frame service received at Crystal Vision. They will be my home fore vision care from now on. read more

Front desk customer service leaves a lot to be desired. One time I went in to buy some vitamins and the front desk staff wouldn't sell it too me. Then recently my wife & I weee looking at frames with the technician who left us and said if we need any assistance just ask the front desk person. read more

If I could give higher than a five star I would. This office has fairly recently been taken over by Dr. Mays who rocked my world! Unbeknownst to me I have dry eye which can cause blurry eyes among other inconveniences. I recently broke my glasses and needed some ASAP. They were able to get me in within 2 days. Time for the exam and we went through all the preliminaries but when it came time for the (always incessant 1 o2, 3 or 4, etc...) he abruptly stopped it and said the results were all over the place. Apparently with the dry evens you get a film over your lids that blurry your eyes and changes your vision. He carefully counseled me on how to cLear it out (multiple eye drops and getting out excess water. Two hours later we had completely different results and I now have the best prescription I have had in YEARS! I can see with a clarity I never expected! This guy cares!!! Prices were good and I had my new glasses a week later! I can't thank Crystal Vision enough!!! read more

I previously left a 1 star review but wanted to come back and amend it. I had a bad experience with scheduling in what was an emergency to me. Having a parent who is nearly blind due to an eye disease I am quick to panic when my vision is involved. After the mishap the manager Makayla reached out to me and was able to get me in quickly to be seen (all while she was at home sick). Once I arrived to the office I was able to be seen by Dr. White and a tech Kimberly. I have never had a better experience at a business before. Dr. White is fantastic and I was so happy to see her today not only did she treat me but she was able to get me out of a panic, her bedside manner is a 10/10. These three ladies were a Godsend today. Not only did they right a wrong they did it with a smile on their faces and made sure I was completely taken care of. I understand mishaps happen but the fact that they all went out of their way to satisfy a patient speaks absolute volumes! Thank you all!! read more

This could very well be the happiest optometry staff on the planet. Seriously, you can tell they genuinely enjoy their jobs, each other, and helping the people who walk through the door. The office itself is extremely design forward, and very well appointed. I was highly impressed with the selection of glasses, and most thankful that no less than five staff members, and Dr. Mays himself joined in the effort to help me choose the right frames. Who would think picking out glasses could be fun? I left feeling as if I'd just spent an hour and a half with friends. I live 60 miles from College Station, and 60 miles from Austin, typically gravitating toward Austin for these types of needs. I'm glad I decided to hit C.S. for this one. A total win. read more

The reasons for the one star are: 1) Once you visit Crystal Vision Center, they will automatically rebook you and charge you if you don't show up, ignoring that sending an email DOES NOT serve as a request and acknowledgement protocol.. there is no acknowledgment 2) They have a forced choice of fees: I get extreme migraines when I get dialation. When I told them that I didn't want dialiation they ordered me to pay $39 for optical pictures of my retina. In other clinics I have had retina pictures taken and my insurance paid for them. It is my belief that they are trying to get their machines paid off and making their clients pay for it. I don't like being lied to and the extorsion is more that I can stomach. read more

Unfortunately one of the worst experiences I've had at an eye doctor. The doctor himself was great, but the staff made a lot of mistakes. Told me my normal contact brand was discontinued when it wasn't, ordered me contacts that were 9 powers higher than my prescription, and waited a week to let me know they had my contacts in the office. This appointment was a year ago and when I went to a new office today, I found out that they had put in the wrong prescription lens into my glasses. I don't wear my glasses often so I didn't notice they were off. Do not recommend this office whatsoever. read more

Everything about my experience was pleasant, from setting up my appointment to picking up my glasses the entire staff exceeded my expectations. Before going in for my I spoke with Kristi who walked me through all of my insurance benefits. She was very helpful and even offered to call my insurance to confirm my benefits. When my glasses came in I met with Tracey who fit me for my glasses. She was sooo patient and did a great job making my glasses so comfortable.
