I had never done this before, and neither had my friend, so it was an adventure because we had 1) no tools and 2) the wrong type of vehicle for the task. We thought it would be like picking up soil from the hardware store, but no.... Danny was kind enough to allow us to use their shovels to move the dirt. He was also very polite. Please save yourself some trouble and DO NOT do business with this exceptionally shady company. I was given an estimate for 6 pallets of stone at 1.5 tons each (9 tons total). After I made arrangements for delivery and for the work to be done, Danilo's pulled a bait and switch on me and demanded payment for 3 additional pallets because they said they sell by the ton, not the pallet, and the written estimate was wrong. I get it, mistakes happen, but they also CONFIRMED the agreed upon pricing in a separate email, and STILL would not honor the pricing/quantity that was agreed upon in the estimate AND the email. The manager (owner?) himself flat out told me they would not honor the agreement because they "wouldn't make any money on the deal". Unbelievable. How much money is your reputation worth? Rather than supporting a local small business as I had intended, I ended up having to purchase the same amount of stones from Lowe's for about $300 more. Money well spent to avoid the shady practices of Danilo's. Shame on you Danilo's. read more

Save yourself $ & time just like the other bad review. laid sod & put a drain in & sod die, drain didn't work still flooding in my yard. They said they would fix it last year but kept saying they couldn't get sod. I said okay we'll wait until April this year. After not hearing from them I called April 24th. & they said they would be here last Saturday. Canceled plans for them to show no one called or showed They no called or showed last year to.
