This place has been on my radar for awhile now. I've had them book marked and have seen friends of mine go there, but I'm never in Acworth... At least, until yesterday. I love plants, but as I'm preparing to move this summer, I've been on a strict no-new-plant regimen, which, as it is spring and everything is showing its lovely colors right now, it's been really hard to stick to. What better way to make my life miserable than to go gallivanting among the flowers! I was in town for a birthday celebration and had a little time to kill, so I went over to Busy B and (big shocker) fell in love. So much great yard art, beautiful hibiscus plants, all of the veggies you could want for your garden, you name it! It's a deceptively big shop, and I could easily spend a fortune there. They also have great supplies for all of your outdoor needs, some great hanging baskets, all of the perfections. Definitely worth the stop and to shop local. Let me start off by stating that I know nothing about plants except to say they look pretty. That being said, I am landscaping my front yard with the help of someone who does not know much more than I do. Scary :( I went to some other places for help and advice ( which were not forthcoming) before finding Busy B. What a lifesaver. I worked with an associate there named Sam, who was heaven sent. She took all the time I needed, made recommendations and answered all my questions. We will be doing the yard tomorrow and I feel much more confident now. What a GEM of a plant shop!! My husband and I stopped by on a Wednesday evening to buy a family member a last minute Christmas gift after Christmas. There are so many CUTE pots and plants to choose from!! They have outdoor/indoor plants, small/big plants, low-maintenance/high-maintenance plants, etc. The lady at the counter was SO SWEET. She helped us get our plant setup and she even gave us a box to put our pot in since we were going to gift it right away. I don't live in Georgia but if I did, I would no doubt be back to this plant shop. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a new plant/pot. I stumbled on this cute local nursery while driving home from another large nursery! This one is small but mighty! They have cool looking selection of plants and the owners are so nice. I definitely think their inventory will get better as they grow and I love finding local spots with local plant enthusiasts. I bought a string of pearls from them, and I saw a selection of fiddle leafs and monsteras that looked super healthy and nice as well. Will keep checking back for more stuff. read more

Busy B is a delightful gem on busy 92 in Acworth! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. Prices for herbs and seedlings were comparable to big box stores. I have no problem paying .50-1.00 more to get a quality product and help in selecting. The orange mint we bought here started out as a tiny little vine and now it is a huge bush, so I'm thrilled with our results. I don't love the coffee truck outside. If you want anything custom you'll be disappointed. They don't carry anything besides dairy milk and struggled to figure out how to make me a black iced coffee with flavored syrup. The truck itself is really cool and the food and milkshakes might be good. The coffee wasn't, though. read more

Plant addict here, both houseplants and outdoor plants! I visited Busy B last week for the first time after moving to the area. As most nurseries and small businesses are, I expected the prices to be pretty high. But I was pleasantly surprised with how affordable everything was! And all in great, healthy condition. I purchased a Peperomia obtusfula 'Red Edge' and a String of Buttons. I'm looking forward to Spring in a month or so, so that more stuff gets rolled in. This is not a huge nursery but they have a lot of interesting plants. I got a dwarf dahlia today that is mixed colors and beautiful and huge and cost less over all than two small ones I bought a few weeks ago. They have plants such as creeping raspberry that is not easy to find. Over all the prices are good or lower than larger nurseries. The ladies are most helpful. Check out the succulents inside. There are nice wagons to use with big tires to move easily on the mulch. If you are going west on Hwy 92, you can pull in from 92. If going W, you have to make a U turn. South on Bells Ferry puts you right in but North bound a U turn. Neither is hard to negotiate. Give this place a try, you will like the plants and the service read more
