Some of the best poboys in New Orleans. The shrimp, catfish, and hot sausage are my favorites. I wish they stayed open later.

If you're on the Metairie streets at ungodly hours and get hungry then Danny & Clyde's is a decent 24 hour spot to get your grub on.

Ordering a muffaletta is slightly cheaper than getting one from the case & seems to have more meat on it than the premade one.

One of the worst shrimp poboys I've ever had. This sandwich is Poo!! Taste like chemicals. Nasty as fuq, no other way to put it.

They also have fantastic brunches on Sunday, and they have balcony dining as well! Did you see that? Beautiful balcony dining! The drinks are reasonable too! I got a French75 for $11! They offer bottomless mimosas too. They have to die for brussel sprouts that I order EVERY SINGLE TIME I go, which has been about 3 times in the last 6 months. Whatever the sauce is, is addictive! I love their fried chicken sandwich and their pancakes are on steroids - super girthy. Parking is off street. I didn't see an elevator or anything to get up the stairs in case you have someone that can't walk up them. There is a bathroom upstairs and downstairs. I have had really great service every time I have gone, the servers are laid back and friendly people. I really love this restaurant.

Our service was really nice and friendly, and the restaurant looked clean and well kept. There might be a bit of a wait during rush hour, but it's definitely worth it. Would definitely come back again.

I have to say District has stepped up its food and coffee game a lot. I have been frequenting their…read morelocations more and more, especially the Elmwood one. I recently discovered their boozy coffees and that they sell Vietnamese coffee - eff the world condensed milk glory! So, freaking good. During the holidays, they sell egg nog lattes which are creamy and so delicious. But if you want the boozy one, go with the District Lebowski. Jaw drop, so good! I still think the donuts themselves need more work - I wish they would taste sugary like the ones in Lafayette called Meches. The toppings are exquisite and those hot honey fried chicken sliders are the best! The staff are very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I kind of wish those boozy coffees were at the other locations, but other than that, keep doing what you are doing!

District meets the suburbs…read more I've been to the locations on Magazine and Harrison several times but 1st time I have been to this one. This one feels like a chain restaurant (which it now is) and has no real personality being pinned in between a bike shop and a Jersey Mike's inside of strip mall. The kolaches at District are really good. They have a variety of flavors, I usually get a smoked sausage, cheese and jalapeno which is tasty but this time I got a brisket boudin and cream cheese kolache in a collaboration with Gonzo's. This was phenomenal. I also got a regular glazed donut. This was not that good. It's too dense and too thick. I like my glazed donuts to be light and airy; I want it to almost melt in my mouth. All of District's donuts are thick. Most of them are good especially the banana pudding donut. The issue is these aren't really donuts more like cakes or just a dessert. If you are coming to get your order to go this place is fine but if you want to hang out, I prefer the other locations.

The service was nice the first time but the second time we really didn't have a good one. We had a guy that was really nonchalant and didn't pay us any mind. I could go into more detail but no need to bash anyone. But when someone acts like that it makes the food mediocre. But the food was decent my favorite thing I ate was the French Toast it was sweet and moist easily a get it again. The Crab Rangoon dip was elite as well so creamy and full of flavor. The Harrison BLT was a big let down just felt they didn't put any effort into it was kind of just there. A BLT is a very simple dish but has to be made with love and care. The Winser Scramble had a lot of potential but it only had 3 shrimp in there it's hard to forgive that when that's the only protein it has in there. The hangover bowl was pretty nice, literally any dish makes you get over any hangover you have brisket in a dish it's always hearty. Now to the McOutpost, I love the idea of it. I felt if the biscuit was a bit firmer and more flaky it would've been nice. Overall this spot is a pretty cool spot to go catch a vibe and a bite.

Five stars. Bearcat was the best meal we had in all of New Orleans, full stop…read more This was hands-down the most incredible breakfast of the trip--everything top to bottom was perfect, and we walked away with basically no notes. The coffee alone was exceptional, served in great ceramic mugs, the kind of detail that tells you a place actually cares. The food backed it all up. The kids got the pancakes, which were outstanding. I ordered the crab scramble with asparagus and got the most generous pile of crab I've ever seen in a scramble--just delicious. And the crispy potatoes deserve a shoutout: perfectly Cajun-seasoned and genuinely crispy, not the half-hearted kind. The only minor miss was the mushroom toast. The bread sat under the sauce a little too long and got soggy, and the sauce itself ran a touch too sweet. Easy fix--a little less of it would go a long way--but it was the one dish that didn't quite land. What really sealed it, beyond the food, was the value. The prices feel almost too good to be true. They could easily charge more and don't, and there's something refreshing about that. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and they took genuine care of us. A truly special breakfast spot. If you're in New Orleans, go.
