My neighbor found Danny Fencing to replace his fallen fence in the back. He compared 3 quotes with other fence guys, and chose Danny. When the fence between me and my neighbor failed, it was tilting every time we opened the gate, he liked Danny a lot and asked him for a second job on our shared fence. We got an estimate and eventually he came to work on our deteriorated fence. We had wood rot and broken posts. He does install a vapor barrier between the house exterior and the new gate. Clear Communication: - When you call Danny, he'll show up and give you a written estimate, and costs for each neighbor. He makes sure that both neighbors are in agreement with the height and type of fence. He checks in on both parties, so there are no surprise changes from each neighbor. - Scheduling can be tricky as he gets super busy. You can text time for updates. He tells you if he can't make it and is on top of it. - He is punctual! He shows up when he says he shows up. - He speaks English - During the process, if there are design changes or adjustments, he checks in with you to make sure you're aware of it. Materials: He provides the wood, concrete, and gate hardware for you. If you want something separate, you'll have to notify him. We installed our locking hardware ourselves since we chose it after the installation. Clean up: When the project is finished, his crew does sweep up when they're done. They did not leave a mess behind and picked up everything. Note that if you have plants, they may get trampled on if you don't move it yourself. He does let you know in advance. I would use Danny again for more fencing needs. Service Area: South bay, including Sunnyvale, all the way to Los Gatos and does up to Fremont Area. In the meantime, I scheduled an appointment with Danny for an estimate for my side fence. He was puntual, which is a plus! So the side fence was fixed last Thursday by another business that my side neighbor found at a lower quote. The next day, Danny's team came to work on the back fence. The crew came on time and did a good fencing work but he could not fix the post that had fallen towards the end which was an extra than the main job which we share with the other neighbor as we had discussed earlier in the quote with him and when asked can he do that today or some other time he said he cannot do the job as he needed a jack hammer and an electric line . Also he did not clean up some final mess like dirt around the stones . we did not allow him to use the electric line during the side fence installation as our line got short circuited in June when a crew that did the stone broke it and we have to fix it. The final quote price was same as at the beginning so its not surprising the final price. The quality of work is good and the crew was a decent one. Its just that the final rude behavior was not acceptable as Customers come first in any business and our request to fix the post was not considered and i need to search for someone for that small job. For my project I collected 3 quotes from other contractors and based my final decision on 1)completion timeframe 2)good references and 3)pricepoint . Danny's Fencing came out on top and they did an outstanding job of replacing my 20 year-old decrepit fence. Danny listens very carefully to special requests, but he is also very experienced at building fences so will provide you his best advice on how to keep costs down while still building a great backyard fence. Our Nov 2018 fence project included staining the fence once it was completed which took a little longer. The team arrived at 8:30am every morning and worked until it was dark every day and was careful with the plants and bushes near the fence-line. One warning is that Danny's Fencing is in high demand so you might need to wait for at least a month before he can start your project so I recommend calling well in advance of your project date to lock your proposal down. read more

He arrived early and while he was trying to find the other section of my fence we discussed that needed fixing he noticed another small section that needed repair. So he fixed it without asking me (he took a "before" picture before he started repairing so I could see the difference). After fixing all sections of the fence he thoroughly explained what he did and how we should take care of the fence to make it last longer.
