So I am starting to consider myself a regular here. The Guinness is so good. But they also have Irish whiskeys and Irish gins that I love. The owner and bartenders are class. They make an effort to always have live music on the weekends, karaoke, comedy. There are pool tournaments some days for the one pool table. There is a nice patio. The place is really clean, including the bathrooms. The people are friendly. I really like it. You can bring food in too!

Cute little place, bringing the vibe. Worth checking out for live local music. Friendly guys behind the bar. Also, google maps won't update that they haven't served food in like a year, but they don't mind if you bring in outside food.

Danny Murry's Irish Pub opened where Tipsy Lounge et al once was. Small pub area with a small parking lot. D. M.'s model is the Englander Pub that was around the block previously. Dropped in here recently for a drink after attending a festival. Offerings: 9 draft beers on tap, full bar, flatscreen tuned to sports, pool tables, juke box, dog friendly policies.. Sips: space dust i.p.a (8.2%) 16 oz. -boozy but not hoppy enough for me. This brew is the strongest available. Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale (4.3%) 20 oz. -change of pace from Guinness. Nice smooth, creamy ale. *pricing not posted. About $7-$8. Service quick. Patrons & dogs very friendly. Only dogs get free treats.

Stopped here to meet a friend and listen to a special guest, DJ Bender's (aka the Drunken Robot) debut from 1030pm - midnight on Saturday (4/8/23) night. Danny Murry's Irish Pub is about 1.5 years new (formerly Tipsy Lounge) with a diverse crowd and age group. Small and chill place to just listen to some beats, get a beer, cocktail, bites and meet up with friends. Place got a little hot in the back but all good. Small dance floor and great house music with a small patio in the back. Other nights offer events like karaoke, comedy, contests or just watching whatever game is playing. Plenty of parking on the street or private lot parking on Washington Ave in San Leandro. Pricing for drinks: strawberry (Torani) margarita and Lagunitas $18. Kitchen closes at 9pm on weekends

    A good Guinness pour.

So far so good! I've only been here twice. The staff is really nice and accommodating, and the customers are pretty cool. I've only been here in the afternoon on the weekend and it was a little slow. Hopefully that picks up because it's a nice place for an afternoon drink. They have a little back patio which is good for the dogs but be sure to bring a doggy bed. The price is more than reasonable and the Guinness and Jameson are pretty good! I think this place would really be cool if it had an irish-themed mural on the back patio wall, it would be an Instagram hit! But all in all I'm glad they opened an Irish pub in San Leandro, I've been wanting one for a while. I can see that the owners and staff are growing this business so we'll see how it turns out. But I'll return for sure! Although I haven't eaten there yet the menu seems pretty accommodating for the venue.

This amazing local bar is newly owned. I learned the new owners sponsor a pool team and so every now and then host games there in the evenings. They also have Trivia nights, I believe I saw a darts board hanging, There are over 7+ TV's hanging around the bar. The bartenders are all super friendly and down to earth, and special shout out to Lori, a legendary barkeep in the area! They have Irish-themed food from 5-10p and brunch during NFL season!

We went to San Francisco for dinner on St Patrick's Day and a bar after for some Guinness, but that didn't work because every bar in the City was pack and lines out the door around the corner. We decided to drive back to San Leandro and we found this place. Glad we did, the Guinness here were perfectly chilled and the drinks had the right amount of alcohol and mix. Bartenders were friendly and know how to make a good drink. The interior is very clean. They also have a out door patio and a dance floor.

Moscow Mule- what a cute cup!

Danny Murry's Irish pub was so much fun! Who knew.... San Leandro of all places? I don't head out to that part of the East Bay much. So when I saw the singles mingles event on Saturday night being held here... at first.. I was hesitant. Not sure. But, the weather was nice on Saturday.. so I checked google maps, yelp, etc. Looks like a neighborhood bar. And... turns out I had a great time! I arrived and was lucky enough to snag a parking spot in their lot. The bartender was very friendly and nice! I was here for the singles mingles, and it was also karaoke night. I got a Moscow Mule and it came in a cute cup! The bathrooms were also very clean (important for women!). Note: this Irish pub is not large, but they also have a nice patio out back. And they have a water station (convenient!) so you don't have the ask the bartender for water. Overall this Irish pub is well done. If I were in the area or lived closer I would return. Neat spot!

Guinness was good. Wolfhounds were welcome. Opened in last year making up for Washington Club closing. Outside looks like former Mexican restaurant.

Been here like 3 different times now since Nov. Here is my review: I was a little apprehensive coming in here for the first time. I've passed by it several times, I have gotten used to the washington club. The facade of the bar, Its a little unwelcoming, if you're not from SL. The lady bartender welcome me as i came in. They have a lot of beers and wine (red/white) and to those of you who are hungry, they have their own kitchen. They have DJ night, karaoke nights ( trust me, they are not bad....singers) a back yard patio ( summer nights) a pool table. Need to improve on: when it comes to the clientele, its definitely not the washington club. washington club clientele are: more chill, relax, welcoming, friendly vibe, no judgement mentality, no (bad) attitude, local feel, will have a good time vibe bar. DMIP - friendly ? yes.... but on a stiff side. Judgmental ?.......yes! Snobbish ?...yes. Maybe the owner, Jym needs to do is hire more bartenders, be a welcoming, friendly owner. Hopefully, there be more theme nights. SL community - hopefully, this bar will help the community for some fund-raising events. The Wash regulars: I've seen a few the wash regular, i'm one of them. Matter of fact, some of the wash bartender are here: Selina and Laurie. The bartenders are attentive to customer's drinks and need. Hopefully, there be more wash regular. Hopefully, this will not become another cunha's. whose majority of the clientele are the "ghetto's of oakland". Its a new bar that just opened last year. Some kinks are still being work on. I/we shall support this neighborhood bar.

Personally, this bar wouldn't make my top 50 list, but for some crazy reason they're loyal to it, so I show up for them. Recently, I've popped in a bit more and wow, the "changes." They finally made an Instagram, which got me excited for a second--maybe they were stepping it up. Nope. Just like everything else here, it's inconsistent. They post food specials, I come in ready to spend money, and... no food. Overheard it was a management issue. Shocking. Then there's the alcohol selection--or lack thereof. I'm not even a big drinker, and I have a better bar setup at home. Half the time they're out of basics, or waiting on the owner to maybe, someday, bring more. Call yourself a bar? More like BYOB and hope for the best. I'll give credit where it's due: I've met some cool people here, and they're the only thing keeping this place alive. But even they seem tired of the chaos. I heard this is the oldest bar in San Leandro, and honestly, I'm amazed it's still standing. Must be sheer luck or nostalgia, because it's definitely not management. Two stars because I don't hate the regulars--but let's be real, if this place wants to survive, it needs way more than an Instagram and a prayer.

They're definitely on a mission. This one in San Leandro may be 2 years old and is a larger one. I think most of them are in huge spaces now with a large outdoor feature. Here their outdoor area is partially covered, like the sides, but the center is exposed to the open sky. They dot the space with large olive trees, so it has a nice beer garden vibe. We sat in their bar area, and I noticed that even though you are super close to where all the employees are, you get the most do-it-yourself type of service. We had to get our own beers at the bar station, place our food order there and repeat the process anytime we wanted anything more. Now the employees do bring the food out, will clear empties and bring a takeout box if needed. But I think the system is a bit flawed to only allow service personnel to only do partial the work, and create a system for them to avoid customer interaction. But when that tipping prompt comes up on the screen upon paying, the highlighted buttons of 18-20%+ aren't shy at glaring at you front and center. Just an observation and a 2020s cringe for me. I tried 2 of their lagers styles that day as it was pretty warm out and both were really good. Very bold and assertive in the hop ratio, which is a Fieldwork stamp. And what I liked is that they actually tasted fermented in the true lager style which is long, slow and cold. Garlic Fries ($9/4*) Standard and solid garlic fries. Thinner fries, crisp, clean and a good salt presence. A good amount of a cooked garlic is tossed in so isn't that 'spicier' raw garlic type. A dusting of parm is also in the mix. Great with cold crisp beers. Trust. Pepperoni Pizza ($22/3.5*) I remember I tried this same pizza at their San Ramon location and was really impressed with that one. Like a top 5 pizza for me here in the Bay. This one kinda had the similar traits but just wasn't as tight as my original try. The one in San Ramon was crisp throughout, without being overdone. This one was crisp on the outer edges but was limp in the center, so when picking up a slice, a major droop occurred. The pepperonis were totally legit, but the cheese here seemed more wet for some reason. Very milky in taste, but I think it is the reason why the center stayed wet. Again just an observation. Pretty good add for San Leandro, with 21st Amendment closing within the year. This keeps San Leandro a strong brew destination still with Drake's nearby still in the fray. I'm sure I'll be back, just don't love their mode of service chosen.

There was also a DJ keeping the crowd energized, playing music and hyping everyone up during the match, which added so much to the atmosphere. The bar itself was really nice, and I was honestly pleasantly surprised by how great the overall vibe was.
