If anyone is thinking about trying Danny's Pizza.. DONT!!! Ordered pizza, wings, and a salad from them a while back and they gave me bone-in wings rather than boneless (which is what I ordered). Also, the salad wasn't even fresh but I didn't bother mentioning that when I called to tell them my wings were wrong. I threw the wings and salad away. Called them and they gave me a credit for the wings. Ordered pizza and cashed in on my wings this evening and a family member went to pick up and they couldn't find our pizza!!! Wtf?! She waited there for them to make it AGAIN! We ordered the pizza with extra sauce and it's noted on the receipt. It was like the complete opposite... barely any sauce! We called and spoke to 2 RUDE employees who refused to give us a refund and refused to remake our pizza.. for the 3rd time!!! They didn't even offer anything for us having to wait there while they remade the pizza they "lost". Absolute horrible customer service. Never again! read more

Danny's Pizza, well it used to be, well Do-Able. Sorry to say my local pizza joint has fallen off my radar, used to love the Broasted Chicken, now it's small and overcooked, the last order was not half a chicken unless this bird has two thighs and no breast. The simple pizza was undercooked soggy and just not good, I paid 32.00 for the medium pizza and half a bird, we only ate half of it it was that bad. read more

Being coming to this place awhile, foods great, nice people working here, seems to be under new ownership with the passing of the previous one, as I said good place but when me and my husband came in today we saw a little conflict go on between the workers. When we came in everyone in the kitchen seemed quite quiet (Usually see them with smiles on their faces and talking a little bit now and again) but I saw a young lady who seemed to be the higher up in the room act very rude toward other co-workers. Me and my husband got 2 pizzas, some pickle fries and mojos and they were fantastic but as we're getting ready to leave we see the young lady argue with a younger lady with glasses about cleaning some tables, which I saw the girl do, but the manager seemed to say she didn't and got really upset at the younger girl and told her to leave immediately and clock out (Mind you this was all up front near the register,) and she seemed to tear up a bit from being basically yelled at by her higher up. Anyways just noticed the imbalance of what seems like respect from the manager to the employees. Other than this incident great food, will always come back. read more

My husband, toddler and I drove two hours to hit up the apple farms nearby. On our way home, I was starving and came across this place. There were only two cars in the parking lot so after a quick review of other Italian places nearby, I decided to stop in here. I had my heart set on pizza and the other closest place didn't serve pizza. I went in and was greeted by who I am assuming is the owner of the establishment. There were four people working in the back but, the owner and myself only. It was dead. I thought this was great since we were in a bit of a hurry to get back to LA since it was dark and our pizza would be priority. I asked the owner what was on the vegetarian sub and he told me. Sounded good but went back to the pizza. I asked if the cashews on the veggie pizza were just nuts and he said yes. I know there are all kinds of new fangled cashew sauces and things lately so just wanted to be sure. He said I could omit the cashew nuts which I did. All I did was order french fries, a pizza and their cheese garlic bread and a large drink which was self-serve. Easy enough and the exchange was fine. I tipped even though it was takeout due to the pandemic and hard times. Everything seemed normal enough. His workers were keeping themselves busy with sweeping and the place seemed clean. What I keep mulling over is how in the world as the only patron and with five people working, they managed to screw up my order? The owner bagged the items himself and showed me the pizza. I said it looked great and oohed and awed. Then, I went on my merry way. Five minutes down the road as I was digging in for the fries to give my hungry child, I noticed there were no fries. I got the pizza, I got the cheese bread and I received a small styrofoam box of two rings of calamari, some tomato garnish and lettuce. Ummmmm...... Even though it was so late, my daughter wanted her fries. As a mom, you will understand. So, we turned around and I made my husband go in and address the issue as I watched my kids. Immediately when we pulled in I noticed one of the workers in back saw our car and promptly turned to walk away as if he knew what we were back for. I watched the whole thing transpire. My husband was endlessly nice and the owner said he'd fix it right away and give us a large fry. It is so strange. The fries are unmistakably hot, steamy and the fragrance alone is overpowering. How did no one not realize there were no fries? Five people were working, people! Four in the back. The owner threw his hands à la Kramer from Seinfeld, rather comically and I kept thinking that seemed a little over-the-top and compensating for....guilt? He told my husband, "Haha, I have no idea how my lunch ended up in your bag?" There were literally two separate pizza boxes, one large and one small for the bread....and a separate bag for the "not" fries. I hate to say this because I don't like to throw accusations but I felt targeted. I have gone over this over and over on the drive home, this morning and afternoon. The owner seems like he's on top of things there and very eager, greets you immediately, and just has a very high energy vibe about him. The place is immaculate....and yet, I, the only patron in a span of 40 minutes managed to get some old, smelly, greasy partially eaten calamari rings instead of fries in my bag? Dare I say, is it because I'm Asian? Because he thought I was being a "Karen" because I asked "too many" questions about the food as a first timer and since there were no descriptions on the menu? Because I am a vegetarian even though he offers Veggie options (thank you?). What is going on? I hate that I go here but frankly, it's a sign of the times and I've already experienced discrimination in these wacky times more-so than normal....even in idyllic beautiful California. Or, are these guys just incredibly disorganized they screw up a three item order with ONE patron? My gut, unfortunately, says one of the former. I even thought this place looked nice and he seemed nice enough. I thought to myself as I drove out the first time, "I've got to remember this place next time I'm here....it's clean and they are trying. Hope the pizza's good." Ha! Never again! I was working and staying for two weeks at a camp in Angelus Oaks. I had heard from someone else about Danny's Pizza. He was sure that this is the best pizza in all of SoCal. Now I say that pizza is like politics and sex -- everyone has their own idea of what is good. One day it was time to get away from camp food so another one of the workers and I made the 25 minute drive down the hill to Danny's. Upon entering we were greeted quickly and friendly. I had a small salad with Italian dressing and I must say that dressing was in the top 3 or 5 of all Italian dressings I have had. I ordered a small pizza, sausage and pepperoni. My buddy and I both had our salads right away and then the pizza arrived. The crust was excellent in texture and taste. I am not a person who thinks pizza should only be thin or thick and I found Danny's to be on the thin side and perfectly baked. Danny does not skimp on the toppings! The sauce had a nice tomato flavor but not overpowering and was well seasoned. A nice volume of cheeses was used and the meats were ample. I have had some pepperoni and sausage that was, well, meh. Not here, Danny uses a quality ingredient to get quality product. Too bad I live so far from here but I will return in the future! read more

This place was easy to see off Yucaipa blvd, it's located near the pep boys. As soon as we entered we were greeted. The menu screens are a bit hard to read. But it was easy and simple to order a pizza with your favorite toppings. We got the mozzarella sticks and the gator taters. First came the mozzarella sticks and less than 10 mins after that the everything else came out. The pizza was amazingly cheesy and the taters were crispy and hot. read more

Danny's Pizza is has new ownership and these guys have knocked it out of the park with their food! We enjoyed two pizza's 1) Pepperoni with Pineapple and Cashews and 2) Sausage with Red Onions and Peppers. The toppings were splendid, the crust was perfect - not too thick, not too thin. And, the cheese that Danny's is now using is out of this world. We topped it off with an order of breadsticks that must be tasted! They are almost pastry-like with the flakiness and they're topped with just the right amount of garlic and parmesan. This is not a fancy/schmancy joint, just great food served by a friendly team. If you haven't been to Danny's in Yucaipa you are so missing out on some amazing food! Kevin is probably the BEST PIZZA maker EVER! OMG! His Pizza crust is so unbelievably delicious his crust was the perfect balance of thickness and flavor. Hats off to you Kevin! Oh...And let's not forget about their grinders! Awesome! The whole crew that works there is so friendly and kind, this has now become our go to place! Which means I may need a gym membership! LOL! So if you haven't been in you really need to make an effort to go, they have recently updated the place and it's very clean and comfortable. And food is sooooo good! read more
