Picked up the car today and the paint had some specs in it, and they said they would wet sand it to get the specs out while I waited. It didn't work. Eric Zamora offered me $50 or $100 discount so he wouldn't have to paint the whole door again. He said the paint had a "Lifetime" guarantee. I said that's fine, I would pay the full amount. Drove the car home and then noticed that the passenger side side view mirror was melted. Literally the paint and plastic was melted.....!!!! So I called them and drove all the way back to the shop and Eric was already gone for the day, but his worker said that they looked at a picture from the front of the car and said they could see a shadow showing that the sideview mirror looked "wavey" Bull crap!!! He said they took the mirror and the door off the front passenger side to do work on the rear passenger side, and that they only put the sideview mirror in the car and that it couldn't have gotten damaged.... I said there is NO WAY that my sideview mirror could get MELTED on the top of it while it was on my car. The plastic and paint are literally melted!!! Car is in great condition except the door that had to be repaired. Now they are saying that the MELTED sideview mirror must have already been like that. No pictures of the sideview mirror damage prior to doing the work. They melted the sideview mirror at the shop. Don't know how or who, but it wasn't melted when I dropped it off....... Every place I have ever been too takes detailed pictures of a car to make sure that this exact thing doesn't happen!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. BEWARE. Dishonest. Go somewhere else.....

I've always been pleased with the work that was performed on my vehicles. I can't believe how I've been treated Reliable customers don't count, just treated like crap. And to boot, they do work that no one else would touch. For me, that included a complete rebuild of my 2006 transmission in 2024 in their shop. Yes it was costly but it was not a remanufactured tranny and extended the life of my car. If the engine goes, I'll likely return for an engine rebuild rather than a remanufactured engine. On another day, some basic work that should be simple and easy they seem capable of completely missing the mark. Couple this with their reliance on Metro Motor.com and their BG maintenance recommendations and you have what feels like a very hard sell to get your money. The BG recommendations are like a laundry list of what you MIGHT do to your auto if you had unlimited funds and just wanted to spend freely. There seems to be no rnyme or reason to the recommendations either in milage or elapased time. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind paying premiusm prices (which Ken's is) for premium work. That's the issue. I feel like it's sometimes worth it and other times not. I've reached the consclusion that they will get my more difficult jobs but routine maintenance will be handled elsewhere. I wonder if over time they have changed ownership or have new sales incentives in place. It's a shame. I really want them to be like The Car Talk guys from Boston and only do what's right.

Their attention to detail and customer service was also not as to be expected. Recently my car was involved in another collision that was the fault of the other driver. To get the process started for a rental car before liability was assigned, Geico my insurance company insisted I started the claim with them and can be transferred. So I brought my car to the recommended shop and they started the assessment process. Without my knowledge they completely dismantled my car and told me my car was totaled. I drove home 1.5 hours from the accident - no alarms, damage to the tires, etc. Just front end damage. When liability was placed on the other driver, I decided to get my car and get a second opinion and take it to another shop. They threatened that if it was anything but totaled, it was insurance fraud, did not put my car back together to be sent to the other shop, and when a tow truck came to get it, it was insurance fraud parts and the entire front bumper was missing. Needless to say, the other shop fixed it, State Fark paid for the damages, and I will NEVER take my car to Top Gyn Collision again. They are overpriced, work is shotty and I just don't trust them.

It would need a new hood, front end, and driver's side quarter panel and headlight fixture. I reached out to local friends on FB and several recommended Flick's Collision in Lisbon. I live only two miles from the shop so it was a convenient option. I called Flick's on Monday and spoke with the owner, Gene, and he told me to bring the car in. He gave me an estimated time line of about a month or so, which he said was due to the shop's current volume (deer rutting season) and what it takes to deal with insurance companies. After that, by and large, the shop handled all communications with the insurance company, including the supplemental parts lists, etc. I hadn't had a car in a body shop in 30+ years and it was eye opening to see that the Allstate claim payment actually included a list of used and aftermarket parts for the shop to buy (I naively thought that it was the collision shops that identified and sourced the necessary parts). The repair ended up taking 5 weeks to complete. Given the Christmas holiday and some difficulty obtaining parts from Allstate's sources, that didn't upset me. When my son and I went to pick up the car, while the paint work was very good, I wasn't quite happy with the fit of the replacement hood. Gene came out to the car with us and explained that aftermarket parts don't always fit like OEM parts. I could tell what he was saying was true because the contour of the aftermarket hood did not perfectly match the contour of the quarter panels so there was no way it could be made perfect. After discussing for a while though, Gene said that he would try replacing the driver's side hood hinge and see if that would help. He said he would call me when the hinge came in. A few days later he did call and we brought the car back in. The next day the car was done and we went to get it. It looked much better. Gene explained that he made adjustments to multiple parts. I give this shop 5 stars because Gene could have simply said that the original repair was as good as they could do, but he didn't. He stepped up to make sure I was satisfied. And I believe that at least the extra labor needed was at his own expense, which I greatly appreciate. Integrity and good customer service seem to be in short supply these days, but not at Flick's. Was my experience with Flick's perfect, no, but Gene genuinely wanted to make sure I was satisfied and did his best to make it happen, and that absolutely matters. Thanks, Gene!
