October 2025 is was in an accident and took my car in for repairs on left side of my car. the insurance company of the guy that hit me covered the repairs. When the repairs were completed I found damage done by the repair company. The weather stripping was bent and replaced though it's not seated correctly. The tinting was damaged, four windows on the left side were also scratched up, driver's side mirror was scratched up-(they've replaced it). It is now 1/21/26 and I still have not had my windows replaced and re-tinted. I have sent several emails and made several calls to Mary McComas with no resolution. I keep getting excuses after excuses as to why my car windows and tinting haven't been done. "The windows are on back order, one has a chip and needs to be reordered". None of the windows should be changed to me because it was their technician that messed them up. I am at a loss as to what to do at this point. I know for a fact it does not take 3 months or more to get window replaced and tinted for a vehicle read more

If only i could give it a -5 stars: Truck came back worse than it went in, how is that even possible well it was with this company. Ensure you do price quotes with several different places and have it in writing because once they get your vehicle they will up the cost of the vehicle by 1,100 plus the already original quote of $3,998 on top of that you go in to get a small dent fixed and get the vehicle back with your exhaust broken in half their response was the bolts were rusted no rust what so ever its a 2019, then they have the nerve to text you asking not to leave a bad review because they will fix the issue. their fixing is to contact your insurance company and charging them the extra $500 to fix what they broke. "Shady people working for this company". BEWARE Military discounts my butt. they bend you over and give it to you thats for sure. read more

I was paired with some amazing personnel at the front desk who helped me retain a rental vehicle from enterprise. The work performed was amazing great in part to the attention to Zach. My cars repairs were done as projected and they kept me informed the entire time. Brought my 2019 Ram 1500 into Caliber Collision in Frederick Maryland for repair to a dent in the tailgate and bumper and crack in one taillight. On top of the repair time taking nine days longer than the original estimate (5 days vs. 2 weeks) and the cost over $1000 more than originally quoted, they damaged my exhaust and will not claim responsibility. The vehicle drove and sounded perfectly fine when dropped off but was unbelievable loud when I picked up. I mentioned this to the person at Caliber Collison when I picked it up and only got excuses. Brought truck back a few days later and they found the "break" in the exhaust (a connection point) but stated it could not have been them. Gave me back a vehicle that was not safe to drive (exhaust "leak" right under the cab). Did not even notify me of a possible issue. In addition, backup sensors going off when nothing is behind. Again, according to Caliber Collison, sensors are working fine. Obviously their Quality Assurance program is non-existent as well as any pride in their work. WOULD NOT CONTINUE TO USE or EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, at least the Frederick office. read more

SUPER GREAT COMPANY. Frederick MD division is wonderful. Deer ran into my Acura causing damage at 4:00 in afternoon. Told my insurance company and chose Caliber because a few years back they worked on my car when someone backed into my car. They work with both my insurance company and rental cars to make sure I was not inconvenienced. Delivery was when they told me it would be, they communicate during the process. The outcome was amazing....restored back to what it was prior to 'accident'. Only issue was because the deer had no insurance I had to pay deductible (). Oh well. read more

Holds my car hostage because they don't take cash. WTF?! Been here three times now and you can guarantee I will not be back. Also non pickup on weekends is a major pain in the ass. Add to that the paint doesn't match and they kept saying it does match. So I show another shop and before I can even get to the door they see the issue and totally agree after looking carefully the job was botched. Regional manager Jimmy was there and thoroughly worthless and of course took no responsibility and kept the position it was all good. Thanks for nothing. Now hashing our with insurance again. The right rear/side of my car was hit recently while it was parked in a driveway. I've had the car for only one year. I was very upset, as I had my previous car (19 years old) for 16 years. I don't change cars often. While not a huge damage, I was worried that the repairs wouldn't result in the car looking like it did right before it got hit: Perfect. Well, thank you to Caliber Collision!! The job you did was fabulous! When I picked up my car, I inspected it. It looked like it did before it was hit. The paint job is perfect too. During the entire time Caliber Collision had my car, and up to pick up of my car, I received follow-up emails of the status of my car and friendly service. Thank you! Thank you! Great job!! So, my brand new, two month old car was rear ended in the car wash, so I needed body work. Geico preferred shop, very close to work, I decided to let them do the job. Bad decision. The first attempt was a fail. There were bubbles in the paint and the tow hitch cover was not replaced as per qoute. You could see on the hitch cover that it had been melted and dimpled out to allow it to snap into place. This was far from acceptable. On the second attempt there was over spray on the black plastic body panels and the paint coverage was not complete. I made complaint to the company head office. A regional manager contacted me and told me that they would put a whole new factory Subaru bumper cover, paint and install. We shall see if this is true. I have no faith that these unskilled amateurs are going to get it right. I do want to say that the ladies who run the front office are very nice and professional. I was called on 1/17/22 and told the repairs were almost done. read more

My SUV and a deer collided and I was worried where to take it to get it repaired; when I called Caliber Collision in Frederick they were very helpful and were able to get me in right away for an estimate. (Mclean VA location said they couldn't see me for an estimate for 2 weeks!) I was happy to hear they could get started on the claim paperwork with statefarm and shortly after they began the repair-work. I wasnt expecting so much damage from a deer but glad its repaired and looks great now! Twice weekly I was contacted via email to let me know how things were progressing and they completed the repair earlier than originally planned so that was great! I will update my review if anything changes but my SUV looked new again when I picked it up today! read more

After my unfortunate accident, I was told to bring my car to this location. Upon arriving to the office, everyone greeted me so nice and professional. The workers there saw I was devastated over my car being totaled but they kept trying to put a smile on my face and I wont lie, at the end they achieved putting that smile on my face. What makes this place different is that they sincerely care about customers. Other shops would usually be quick to get rid of you but these guys made sure I was happy wIth every small detail. I will definitely be referring this location/company to all of my friends! read more

Would never recommend taking any car there. I took my truck there. They do very sub par work. They painted my truck 3 times and it still isn't right. They had my truck over a month. Each time calling me to come pick it up. I would go to pick it up and tell them to keep it until it was right. The first time the base coat looked like a first grader spray bombed it. The second time there was orange peel all over the truck, with fish eyes in the clear. The decals had bubbles all in them also. I took it the third time because I don't think this shop is capable of painting my truck the correct way and to my standards. Keep in mind this is a brand new truck so I want it right. Horrible experience. Will never take anything I own back there! read more

I have a 2016 Honda Odyssey that I've owned less than a week and had 47 miles on it when we purchased it. My 5 year old son scratched it pretty good riding his bike, four days after we bought this vehicle. I drove it over to have an estimate completed by another body shop in the area but it was recommended to me by the local Honda dealership to get an estimate from Caliber Collision as they refer most of their body work to Caliber. I drove over to Caliber on a Tuesday afternoon around 2pm, the day after my son scratched it up. I was told that I needed to make an appointment as "we're like a doctor's office." Okay, my bad for not calling ahead of time. I made an appointment for the following Friday at 11 am and I was given a specific name of a male employee who would be providing me the estimate for that appointment. It was also listed on my appointment paperwork I was given. Come Friday at 11am, it's pouring down rain but they have a huge garage with two doors; one specifically says "ESTIMATES" above it. Do they ask me to pull in so they can gently remove the rain water off and SEE the scratches? Nope. When I arrive they apparently still needed MORE information. Then they told me that the gentleman who was originally scheduled to meet with me was still out on calls so instead another employee would be handling my estimate. No worries. We go out in the rain and I'm trying to wipe the rain away from the damage with my hand so she can see the problem areas but it's RAINING so it's hard to do. Then she starts DIGGING AT THE SCRATCHES WITH HER FINGERNAIL!?! I quickly asked her NOT to do this! It's a brand new automobile and this woman is digging at my minivan with her fingernail! I get that it's going to have to be fixed anyway but COME ON! I'm not even officially your customer yet. When I fuss at her she replies, "I have to do that in order to see how deep the scratch is." Umm...unless all your male estimators have long fingernails like yours, NO YOU DON'T. If it wasn't deep before it is NOW. There was no conversation. No bedside manner. Nothing but "I'll email your estimate sometime later today." Then I got to drive home wet from standing in the rain. When I received the estimate, it was $500 OVER the other estimate I received earlier in the week. There's no way I'm allowing any of these employees around this car. I don't get a good feeling and I had a horrible experience. read more

My car was fixed, but that was their promise to me. I also rented a car from Enterprise. I received the call that my car was ready. Went to the shop to pick up the car. I asked the receptionist what I was supposed to do with the rental. She replied that I can leave it at the shop. The rental car was returned without any damages. I was so surprised that Enterprise was calling me to place a claim for damage. This is the last time I will use Caliber Collision. read more

Terrible repair on my Audi. Car was less than 1 year old when I was rear ended. When I was called that the car was ready, they told me they were waiting on a small part and it wouldn't hurt to drive it until parts came in. I noticed that the gap between hatch and body was quite large. I was to,d that the ordered parts would take care of it. Long story short, it didn't. Had to take it in for additional issues after their repair. After numerous attempts they did not make correction it looks awful and they stopped returning calls. WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. They did great work at the Frederick, Maryland, location but had a problem with their estimating software. I was told my free online estimate showed more than $900 for a small paint scrape, and when I called I was told there was an error and the actual bill would be more than $1,000. When I picked it up the bill was down by $310. I was told the estimating software made a mistake. Challenge any estimate that seems unreasonable. They are having estimate-software problems. read more
