The techs were extremely thorough and at the end of the job, they did a detailed inspection of the tank for cracks/leaks, while at the same time removing all intruding roots/vegetation. They also took the time to wash and clean the insides of the tanks. The last company we had wouldn't even pump out the last foot of debris from our tank but still charged full price. What a disappointment they were. Southern Septic was such a breath of fresh air compared to that last company. I would give Southern Septic full 10 stars if I could. They were amazing. For those on a tight budget, they also had the best price that we've ever paid. Give Southern a try! You won't be disappointed!

They empty septic tanks and lie about how much they take out and charge you the max. They don't like for you to look at the float on the truck which tells you how full the truck already is with waste and always tell you they take out the max gallons the truck holds and when you call them out they get pissed and blacklist your address. They tell you one price to repair or install new motors and when you ask for it in writing they increase it and add misc items.

Within just a few months, the sinks and toilets were backing up again, so we called them back in after carrying water out from the sinks for several months because we couldn't afford a new drain field. When they returned, they said the lid was cracked and they wouldn't clean out the tank unless we committed to buying a new lid. We authorized them to proceed ONLY if they pumped out the solids in the tank, which they committed to do when they returned with the new lid. However, they wanted to be paid for the pumping then, which we did. The lid was supposed to take 1 week to be completed, and they would return. After 2 weeks, we called and "the concrete lid is curing... a few more days." 2 weeks later, "Our supplier didn't deliver the rebar needed for the lid, so it's not done yet." 2 weeks later, "Oh, we thought you were a different customer that we just delivered a tank lid to. We haven't started on yours yet; we'll need to come take measurements." A week later, "Your septic is too close to the pool deck. We can't do the job. Sorry." 2 months of waiting to hear them say they didn't want to do the job after all. And since they refused to pump out the tank without a new lid, I asked for a refund, since I would have to pay someone else now. They gave us back about 15% of what we paid them, and we started the process out with someone else. The other company did the work within 2 weeks, and here's the kicker: there's no problem with the drain field. It DOESN'T need to be replaced. Again, nice enough people... but not very reputable serve.

I confronted LP about how the copper pipes were mounted on the exterior of the home as they did the job. They had copper pipes running down the white exterior wall of a home in a beautiful Palm Beach Gardens community. Subpar work anywhere in modern times! LP said it wasn't possible to mount on the interior and refused to mount on the interior. I was then assured that this was okay and would not be an issue with the HOA. I explained that it would be an issue for me if the HOA or Code was violated. I was assured it would not be a problem! End result... their work resulted in an HOA violation and costing more out-of-pocket expenses to correct! Modern plumbing is not normally run down the exterior of a home! Grant said he would correct the plumbing with more money and at a discount ($395), which he stated was "at cost". Grant said he cannot be expected to be held accountable for HOA rules. It should be noted that Grant was yelling at me when I called him out on the deception. I questioned his yelling when he finally allowed me to speak and Grant blamed his loud voice on his diesel truck. Ok. lol. It appears that running pipes down the exterior like the 60's is easier and more lucrative . Why would you hire this company??? Buyer beware!!! In my opinion, based on education and experience, Grant wanted to make more money by cutting corners by being misleading and deceptive. We were 100% willing to have the job done right the first time. Grant complained that he would have to charge more. It's sad that some contractors are deceptive and lack transparency. I get it though...I guess there's a lot of older people here to take advantage of.

When I explained that I have a job and can't just be sitting at home all day, they briefly offered an hour notification before arrival, until a second lady who was yelling and backstabbing me in the background throughout the conversation told the receptionist I should go somewhere else and told her to hang up on me. I don't know what's going on over there, but the front office needs some counseling or medication. I'd stay away until they get the help they need.
