Update below We took…read moreour class a Winnebago and to get a refrigerator repair, awning repair. And a new awning for the over our door. The refrigerator repair was covered by our insurance company due to the converter being bad. After we got The motorhome back, we noticed that the Top of the refrigerator, touching the trim and it was catching the freezer door as we open and closed it. We called them and took it back down there and when we got it back the freezer door, then was substantially farther out than the bottom of the refrigerator. We called and they told us to bring it back in which we did. After we brought it back in and got it home again we noticed that the guy just put wedges underneath the refrigerator well first of all we got it back and we knew it was uneven so we took it back again and he put wedges underneath the refrigerator and then told us it was level and charge is $50. After we got home again, it was uneven in that the refrigerator was still well. The freezer door was still farther out than the refrigerator door. I took pictures of it just to verify. Now we were on our way to Texas. And we noticed that the freezer part is out even further about almost an inch farther than it was before. My Husband kid pushed back the top of the freezer and it pushes back but there's no way to keep it back or to level it. We are afraid that The refrigerator will soon either go forward too much and then make some damage or we won't be able to fix it. We are highly disgusted with the workmanship. This dealership provided us. After three times taking it back and now it's worse than it was before. We're leaving Texas on Tuesday to come back home and My Husband is going to try to do something to fix it to level it. Also, because it was on level, the refrigerator door won't stay closed upon traveling so we had to buy a child box for both the freezer and the refrigerator to stay closed. Be aware of this dealership/service. Update: Upon advisement of Wilder RV, see their response, we took our RV to another dealership for repairs. One of the issues was the refrigerator that was replaced. As stated above, the top stuck out and was not level. According to wilder, the only thing that could be done was put shims at the bottom to level it out. They said that two technicians looked at the situation and came up with the shim idea to "fix" the issue. After taking our motor home else where, here is what they found. They found that the top mounts for the fridge were there, but were not connected to the fridge they needed to pull the fridge out and attach the mounts and reinstall. This repair is going to cost us $416 to fix. And because they charged the repairs to our extended warranty, we are not able to resubmit that claim. As he stated in his response that these repairs were paid by our extended warranty company so we had little to no out-of-pocket expense, but they did charge us $50 for the refrigerator adjustment. The manager said he would waive the fee if I changed my review from one star to a higher star review. Obviously, I would consider it if the work was done correctly. So I stand by my review. So my frustration is because we had no out-of-pocket expense and it was charged to our extended warranty. They would get paid no matter what. So now again we are out $416 to fix which should've been installed correctly. The other issue that we wanted them to fix was the door handle on the outside of the couch that slid down when being used. They did put another lock on the coach, but it still didn't work after a few uses. The other dealership found there are no outside seals. That added a little thickness and help keep the lock from sliding. They put a silicone bead on the inside of the exterior half of the lock mechanism. They found that screws were bottomed out and not getting any more squeeze on the lock. They removed some material to bring the 2/2 closer together found that the outside handle would not unlatch the lock once in the correct position, they adjusted the lock mechanism to factory specs. That was also charged against our extended warranty. So this is going to cost us $207 out of pocket something that they said they had fixed before.

We had a good experience with the warranty work we needed done on our RV. The service advisor,…read moreTrey, listened to our concerns and was helpful.

Both times they did a correct diag, got the parts, installed them and charged a reasonable amount. What is really prompting this review is on July the 5th (a Sunday) I found out our roof Coleman AC had a broken fan blade and needed a replacement. We planned to leave that day so I needed a replacement NOW! I called them on a whim and one guy was working, he said they had the part! I immediately drove there and and got the fan, paid for it, and installed it easy job for a DIYer...so happy that they had the part and I got it on a Sunday holiday!! Amazing service!!

I went in with a working water pump, it was just clogged and needed flushed out, and I left with a new water pump. (Hmmm) The two big issues I have are #1) I requested they clean my AC and they didn't even look at it, just told me I need a new one and would I like to proceed? Turns out it just needed to be cleaned (thanks to a friend) and it's working well now! #2 issue is that over an hour and a half was spent on something I did not request to be inspected or fixed. (It was an issue I knew about and was working to resolve.) I spoke up to the repair personnel but they continued. I spoke to the office and was told, "They don't like to leave issues unresolved". At $120 an hour, I did not need them to 'try and figure it out'. They absolutely should've spoken to me before racking up 3.25 hrs--only 2.5 were spent fixing issues. I had a few other minor things that needed attention but after 4 hours and only my heating element and water pump were replaced, I had to call it. I contacted management but that was a waste of time.

We were home after a long stent in Nevada for my husbands work. We had a water leak in the back of the camper. We specifically wanted to get this fixed so, since we had time we scheduled an appointment. Along with other things like lights, electrical, outside kitchen and grey pipe needed some maintenance. They assess and say it totaled (the floor is damaged due to the water leak) we should get a new one... No, we don't want to do that. We have extended insurance which Helps. They say they identify the cause of the leak. They keep the camper for about a month maybe a bit longer. So we pick it up after they are done.. about $10,00 worth of work. My husband and I leave for another job.. we hook up, water starts spewing out of under our camper!! Fixed the leak? Identified the problem?? I think not. Long story short they "bypassed" the water heater and didn't even look at it. Nor did they hook it up to see if they fixed the issue! I WISH I would have taken pictures at its state when we got it back. Nails, towels, screws and dirt ALL OVER THE PLACE! Now, they want to say they did nothing wrong! You didn't do your job! Nor did you check your work so no you didn't break the water heater but you HALF ASSED YOUR JOB and didn't check to see if you actually fixed the problem. We also had a new leak in the bathroom sink where they didn't attach it securely.. they would have know that if they hooked it up again to water!! Don't use these people for maintenance on your Rv or TT. They won't even admit to doing a shit job. They paid for a maintenance man to come out and check it out. They should be responsible for everything but NO they won't take responsibility. So we are assed out money due to their negligence. This is what I got back.. this is $10,00 worth of work.

None of this was disclosed at the time of sale. Shortly after purchase, the floors began softening and rotting. Active leaks were found throughout the unit. A pest control professional confirmed it was uninhabitable due to excessive moisture and decay. During a conversation at the dealership, a manager accidentally read aloud from an internal inspection report -- clearly stating "bad seals" -- which Trailside never disclosed to us. That was the moment we realized: they knew. When we reached out to resolve the issue, Pat Baggette, Trailside's controller (who also happens to be a licensed attorney, though not listed as their legal counsel), responded by email stating that, due to our decision to involve third parties like the BBB, they were no longer willing to work toward an "amicable solution." We paid over $13,000 for a trailer that was unsafe and unfit for living. Trailside chose to walk away rather than make it right. If you're thinking about doing business with them -- don't. Get a third-party inspection. Record every interaction. And most importantly, don't trust their word.

There was one minor issue that was my fault which happened after the online appraisal form. Once I dropped the trade off a day before we were to make the deal, they went over it in great detail and used their assessment to devalue my trade. They claimed $5k in repairs needed to resell. They brought up issues that I had no knowledge of and many were Jayco quality and workmanship related. They attempted to assess the unit as if it were brand new. They sell this junk to us knowing its junk then use that against you to devalue your trade when the time comes. Just like all RV dealers, shady and untrusting. Did the deal anyway as they caved. Your better off buying from a private seller as dealers cannot be trusted.

Hopefully I can unload here and maybe even help someone not to make the same mistake I did. My issue is with Camping World, We bought a new 26' Cougar 26RKE and traded our Imagine in on it. Not sure yet if that was wise. Purchase went well, but that is where it ends. Camping World of Columbia were fine falling all over us with the purchase process, however that's where the marriage stops and the divorce starts. Every time I've ever been on the receiving end of service it's like they feed you bull until you get totally fed up. Then it's like ignore you. Warranty work should not take weeks. We have a new camper and the slide came out most of the way and then dropped about 6". Used a floor jack to raise it and get it back it. Service said that they weren't busy so bring it right up and they get us right in. That was the first lie. Wife called week later, service writer hadn't heard, wife said can you check, well they'll let me know, That's not what she asked, can you check? This isn't the first time we've went through trouble with this service department, we have had many rvs in the past years and seems like this is a regular pattern, they have too many in sales that need pushed out the door to take care of their warranty work. You see the almighty buck speaks loader. I've said it many times no more, don't know when I'm going to get it through my head that they suck. So please take my advice look for some place else to buy.
