Do not go here for repairs. Took our fifth wheel for warranty repairs, and first they took forever, but more importantly they caused damage to our fifth wheel. There was zero remorse and we were treated as if it was our fault. The service manager was very rude to me. Stated they give priority to their purchasing customers. Okay, but you damaged my brand new fifth wheel. If you want SLOW and horrible craftsmanship, and to be treated poorly, then this is the place to go. read more

The staff is very friendly and said they pulled my RV in the bay during the rain hence the 2-star review, but I feel I am being generous with that. I was scheduled for a Sealtech test and it took 2 1/2 weeks to complete from drop off to pick up. I was promised it would be tested and then got another call about testing soon and then a third call about testing soon. She sat for an entire week while the techs were at training and it was not relayed to the service office staff who schedules appointments. Then another four days before the test was completed and then nearly another week for repairs to be completed. Nate actually said to me "If I am being honest..." I said I hope you are always being honest with me. I was promised the rate of $99 per hour for labor and was charged $199 per hour which I did not notice until I got home and had a chance to look over the bill. My fault for not looking upon pick up, but I was in a hurry and I trust people in business to do better. Lesson learned. Also, I asked for a marker light to be repaired and that was not completed. Was offered a free drawer latch repair as Nate had "One of those sitting in his office desk" and that was not completed. I was told I needed a new back window as it was the probable cause of the leaking in the back wall, and no photos were sent from the Sealtech test to verify the accuracy. I was told pictures of everything would be sent. I had to call them back two days after being told about the window replacement to ask for the estimate of the window to be sent over along with the pictures from the test. Overall, I am not satisfied at all with my experience. I feel I was not an important customer and my needs were not met. Poor business is being done here! Unfortunately, I will not return to Unlimited RV for any servicing or future financing. They lost quite a bit of business as I would have brought my RV back to them for the next decade (9 years left on the loan) and beyond as they are located right in between my home and the storage lot for the RV. read more

Let me be fair. The salesperson was great, the finance was great, the person I paid from the dealership to deliver my 40' 5th wheel was great...but that's where everything great turned to crap. With "Unlimited RV", I believe you're buying peace of mind...we paid extra for an extended warranty as "peace of mind" is important to us...unfortunately, I cannot recommend you purchasing anything from them as I don't trust their integrity and what we had hoped to be a lifetime purchase will be unloaded as soon as possible...probably through the assistance of an attorney. We purchased on May 12th, had it delivered to us on May 13th. Within 7 days we happened to notice water leaking underneath the water heater onto the ground. We finally got Keystone to approve us a mobile tech to come out and take a look, and he discovered that someone knew about the leak as they stuffed a bunch of shop towels to hide the leak until it became our problem. It took 30 days in the sun of water leaking in a brand new 5th wheel before I pitched a big enough fit for Unlimited RV to finally replace the water heater. They don't seem to understand my concern that someone hid the leak, NOR that 30 days of water leaking is bound to contribute to issues down the road. What good is the "Piece of mind" of buying a new rv from "unlimited" with a lifetime warranty when they won't support issues someone knew about and covered up? Warranty? Keystone won't support their product in a timely manner, the dealership is no better...I highly recommend you purchase elsewhere and something different. read more

I have had my travel trailer in to the Independence location 3 times in the last 3 1/2 months and the main original issue I took it in for is still not fixed. When I got the trailer home and hooked it up to test, the issue and the location of the issues is very evident. I have debated in calling because all these 3 visits have amounted to is a whole lot of labor charges and still have the main issue not fixed--almost $3,000. If I take it in again, it will be more labor charges and parts that would most likely be under $20. I am thinking I would be money and success ahead to take it someplace else. Especially since some of the repairs that were done or had to be done were not broken when I took the trailer in. I also paid to have the trailer De-winterized, however when I got it home the 2nd time and turned on the water antifreeze came out the faucets, so not sure what was de-winterized. read more

Purchased Travel Trailer from UnlimitedRV (Independence, MO, 816-537-2873) "brand new" on 3/30/24, told we could not take it home that day as it needed de-winterized, inspected, cleaned - as well as replace a broken fender and mantle. At pickup 4/13/24, the fender had been replaced. The (still) broken mantle was rehung. The entire camper was filthy, not de-winterized, not inspected. During the walk through MORE issues were found including a deep dent on the door w/a latch that would not close correctly. They requested ANOTHER 2 weeks to fulfill the unmet promises and the additional issues. We refused this not wanting drive the 3 hr roundtrip again. We requested cancelling the sale since we had not even taken possession and they had fulfilled only one of their promises. They said this was not an option. Ultimately they wrote up a contract promising to repair/replace the door and mantle at our house. They have since refused to honor this written agreement and those things are still broken. We left w/the camper and the agreement that the contracted issues would be completed and any other issues would be fixed under the warranty. We spent several hours de-winterizing and cleaning the entire camper and found MORE issues including leaking water heater, poorly patched nail holes, multiple scratches/marks on walls/vanity/shower/mirrors, hot water heater randomly turns itself off and not restart. the screen door will not latch, the stereo repeatedly shorts out and does not function properly, the wood beam in the bed broke the first evening we used it. Just one thing after another. We recently received 2 documents detailing all the issues w/ the camper - Many even before we purchased that had not been disclosed. This lie by omission, the MANY issues, AND lies, broken promises contracts are my concerns / reasons to distrust this company, and regret purchasing this camper from this company. read more

Loved my initial experience with unlimited Rv, met the general manager Stacy and several of the people in charge that helped make my dream camper a reality! This reality quickly turned into an all out horror story, I've been promised so many things by this dealership and received quick fixes and the run around the whole time. I've attempted for the last year to get my camper repaired and was made numerous promises by the management at unlimited and every single one of those promises returned void. Two weeks ago I pulled my unit home from unlimited where it sat for two months, I was told it was fixed. I went to hook back up the the unit today to move it and the exact same issues I've begged to have repaired are giving me the same problem it was months ago when I dropped it off. I've stood by this dealership for the past year and a half and I was more than patient. My camper BRAND NEW has been out of service for 9MONTHS NOW. No trade in, no buy back, run around from their team and no luck through the factory. What is a person to do here? $100,000 i feel like was stolen from me at this point! Dramatic maybe so, but how is a customer suppose to feel when this is the case? Things break and that's fine, but ignoring internal issues with the camper just to keep me on the hook and give me the run around???? Best service BEFORE the sale. The service and techs have been a totally night-mare!. I taken my Rv in about 2 months ago and still never gotten my slide-out fix. I was keep getting promises when it was suppose to be done and never one of those promises was ever met. They wouldn't call me back to let me know when it was supposed to be finish. I kept calling and always got someone different and they told me it looks like its done and they will have someone to call me back , but it's now another week and no one has call me back! its so frustrating and a horrible experience dealing with this company. I took my RV to unlimited RV in Liberty Missouri on 291 and 210 Highway to have the canvas replaced on my slide-out. They put that on, slide it back in left the key on which burnt the solenoid up. Brent that worked there said, "Don't worry about it, it was our fault and we'll fix this". So they ordered a new solenoid and it came in. Brent got fired in the mean time. Don't know why none of my business but anyways took forever to get this taken care of they called me to let me know it was ready to be picked up. Get down there to pick up my RV. RV'S got grease all over the front of it, grease all over the inside of it on the rugs and then the slide out was in so I thought well I'll try it and see if it works. As soon as I open the box up the key was on and the slide out would not work... because they left the key on again!!! In the meantime I'm a paying customer and services were not rendered nor was I treated or my property treated with any respect. I personally don't even think they attempted to fix it at all. The owner called me and told me we we're even have a good day. He refused to fix, or listen to what I had to say. Never cared about the customer's needs or to correct the issue to make sure the customer was satisfied. I've been a truck driver all my life. Dealt with a lot of people and businesses that are upstanding and reputable but this company is pretty shady in my opinion. The way they operate and do business is pretty unethical. They don't even deserve one star. Heed my warning it's not a good place to do business with or buy from. Because their word or warranty don't mean a thing. Save your money and go someplace else. I spent over $500 with this company and get treated this way because they won't stand behind their word or fix a problem they caused. read more

WOW. Hands down the best RV rental company I have come across yet. I usually rent from a major RV rental company (you've all seen them) which is neither terrible nor amazing, but with Unlimited RV you get (by far) a better unit and you do not get nickel and dimed for everything. Their business model is great, almost everything you actually need is included and you get the fantastic service that comes with a well-run small business. I had a question about the unit and the owner texted me back within an hour or so. I love the straightforward structure and how simple the whole process was. Unlimited RV - Road trip!! - RV Dealers Near Me - Independence, Missouri

Took our fifth wheel to them. They had it 4 months on consignment to sell. Website never had a price listed-just said to call for quote. We brought it back home 5 days ago. A sign that was attached to the wall (you can see it in their pictures - it says "Eat") was missing when we got it home. Looked at website today and it is listed with a marked out price that was $6,000 more than we asked them to list it for. Guess that explains why they couldn't sell it. Very disappointed and would not recommend them to anyone. read more

It's official! Should we ever be able to try RVing again in the future, Unlimited RV is the ONLY dealer we will be visiting. Thanks for the opportunity to share our great story with customers out there looking for an RV. It is hard to decide where to begin, but to preface my review, due to unexpected serious health problems, we made the sad decision to sell our brand-new 2021 travel trailer. A few previous phone calls checking into selling ended in disappointment, then Unlimited RV came up on our call list. We were put in contact right away with Mike T. The conversation was immediately different and actually pleasant when compared to recent experiences. Mike could not have been more kind or helpful. He was quite transparent about how Unlimited RV handles situations like this, and he was forthcoming with clear answers to our questions. After performing some due diligence on our part in checking their online reviews, etc., it became apparent this was the group to do business with. I called Mike back right away, and he got the ball rolling. Due to health reasons, we were not able to transport the rig to Unlimited RV on our own, but Mike was kind enough to offer one of their drivers to come and get it for us. Our driver, David, was very nice and knowledgeable with hooking up and transporting the rig. As soon as we arrived at the office, we received a warm greeting by the lovely staff member at the front desk. Mike was out of the office at that moment, but Barney was very helpful and kind enough to get the paperwork going for us. He also did a final walkthrough with us to make sure we were all on the same page. Mike returned shortly thereafter and visited with us, as well. While we were sad to leave the rig, which was already becoming "one of the family," we felt good about leaving it in what appeared to be the capable hands of these folks. And sure enough, we were right in our observations and gut instincts. These are exceptionally capable and above-board people. Within just a few days, we received word the rig had been sold and we were receiving the amount we had requested. In addition, we were put in touch with Montana H., who is also a gem. She was so helpful with the transfer and payment processes, and she went out of her way to accommodate us in every manner possible. All in all, we could not have been more pleased not only with the high level of competency possessed by the Unlimited RV staff, but also with their extreme kindness, thoughtfulness, and transparency during this challenging time for us. I believe these are indeed honest trustworthy people who will do a good job for you, whether you are buying, selling, or just looking and needing some expert advice. Thanks. read more

Just rented the RV for the weekend for a family trip! The orientation took about an hour, which I wasn't informed about. I'm glad that they did this, as there is a lot to learn. I think they need to inform the potential renters that this will happen, so they can plan accordingly. The RV was super clean and matched the pictures. I loved the rugs, extra lawn chairs and the table as well as the coffee maker, supplies for 8 people and other misc. items! I didn't discover the front curtains (they were in a cabinet in the back bedroom) until the last day. Those would've been helpful to keep the RV dark for those sleeping in. I'm glad they didn't nickel and dime us. Stacy was upfront with the pricing, but I wasn't informed of the $900 deposit. So beware there is a big deposit that they will hold. I wished this was communicated to me. Good thing I had the money, but something should be noted so future renters are not caught off guard (I even emailed to ask what else they needed from me or if there were other charges). Last suggestion is that I wished the RV had stabilizers on the back. I felt every move in the RV when other people were moving around in the front bed over the cab. About the beds: The main bed was a little hard. I would bring a topper to make it softer. The bed over the cabin is hard as well. Again, a topper would be great. The other beds are twin sized beds. So if you have bigger kids, then the RV would sleep 6, not 8. Just some notes for potential renters. Although I had a couple of surprises, they get 5 stars because the RV is really nice and clean! Stacy was easy to work with and Matt did a great job on the orientation. I wished they were closer to KC! Finding yourself in a situation where you don't know what you don't know can be scary. The wife and I woke this morning with a mission. The mission was to get a feel for what actually being in an RV is like and to confirm what our research had told us. Before visiting Unlimited RV I had done said research online and after watching 7357826 YouTube videos I considered myself somewhat of RV expert. Somehow in my infinite wisdom I had already decided on what I was looking to buy. In any case, I was willing to entertain what I expected to be a stereotypical "used car salesman" type while he showed me a bunch of crap I knew I didn't want or need. I am here to tell you that I was wrong. Circling back to the beginning of this review I did not know what I did not know, but at no point during my visit at Unlimited RV did I feel scared. As soon as a walked into the dealership I was greeted by Staci who touts himself as the owner/janitor/worst sales person in the place. He asked us a few questions to get to know us and what we were looking for at first which I expected as any salesman will tell you that you need to ask "qualifying questions". This didn't feel that way at all. Staci seemed to genuinely want to get to know us and our plans for the rig. I think he knew in the first 3 minutes of talking to us that what we "knew" we wanted was not AT ALL a good fit for our needs, but he showed us what we asked for anyway. To make a long story short, we spent the next 2 hours with him (even though he knew from the beginning that we were months away from buying anything) and I learned more about RV's then any amount of time on YouTube could possibly teach me. Also, what I "knew" I wanted was not at all the right choice for our needs and we ended up spending most of our time there in a class we had not previously really entertained. The entire experience was very pleasant, very informative and never did I feel any pressure of any kind to buy anything. I always try to support small businesses when I can, and I will most definitely be going back when the time comes back to buy one of my own and I encourage you to do the same. If I could give 0 stars, I would. BUYERS BEWARE: This company will tell you anything, just to get that sale! They are holding $1000 of our money hostage! Back story: Our salesman told us the RV we were purchasing had a King size bed. Never received a pamphlet or any paperwork showing otherwise. WE BELIEVED HIM (mistake!). The bedroom was a good size so the bed truly did look large enough to be a King. Loan paperwork signed, add-ons purchased. Great, right? I just happened to have another person there go and measure the bed for me so I would get the right size sheets (King vs RV King) and guess what??? IT WAS A QUEEN!! Deal breaker - a King bed was high on our 'must-have' list and the salesman KNEW this. Their fix? Remove one of the 'nightstands' that were attached to the wall and then a King bed would fit in there (that we had to purchase - they finally relented and agreed to 'give' us a King bed from another RV). This would have completely changed the symmetry and proportion of the bedroom...unacceptable! Deal cancelled! They even told the Better Business Bureau that my husband was informed of the option to modify the camper prior to placing the $1000 deposit! ANOTHER LIE! And now, because THEY misrepresented (lied) that it had a King bed, we just have to eat that $1000 loss? All we want is our money back, shouldn't be too much to ask. I am pursuing another avenue to get our money back but for now.....BUYER BEWARE!! read more

Purely by accident I contacted Unlimited RV for a quote for an upcoming family trip- they expanded and moved from Liberty to Independence. I received a quote in record time with extra information. When I thought the excess mileage was high Stacy answered they give 50 more miles per day than most RV rentals and have no hidden charges. We saw him at the 2018 RV show and talked and I realized it was the same company I had problems with last year Stacy and I talked and he told me that he decided to use my critique as a learning experience. We were so impressed we decided to look no further and rent this year from Stacy &. Unlimited RV. Only rental company I found that gives you 5 hours of generator, includes the daily insurance and kitchen ware to use. When they say no hidden charges they mean it read more
