It has been 6 years since my first review of Dan's Window Tint. I wanted to share our experiences with Dan since then. I suspect that I might be Dan's biggest fan. He is truly a wonderful person and I could visit with him for hours while he tint's every window-like surface in my home. Dan has now tinted my different car's windows 3 times, my husband's SUV's 3 times, my nanny's car, my father in law's SUV, cars and house more than 6 times. The resounding opinion is that Dan is a master Tintsman (likely a made up title but it fits)! Every person who has benefited from Dan's service has been thrilled with the results. I brought my SUV to Dan for window tinting - adding darker film to already tinted windows. I dropped my car off at our scheduled appointment time and he was ready and waiting! I had just moved to AZ and it was the beginning of June. I quickly realized how much I needed my windows tinted. I had never requested a quote through yelp before but I didn't have the time to call around. I requested a quote from another company not realizing it sent the request to multiple businesses but I'm really glad it did. I might not have found Dan's otherwise. I was in a bit of i time crunch and on a tight budget so I really planned to shop around. Four different tint places sent me quotes. They were all vague and difficult to get information from. I sent a very detailed message about what I wanted and the questions I had yet no one really seemed to read it except Dan. I was very frustrated with trying to find someone at this point. I spent days calling around and now reading quotes that were less than desirable so when I got a quote from Dan I was thrilled upon initially opening my message. It was long and had all the info I needed to make my decision. He provided the information about all the tint options that met what I was looking for including the price and link for a more detailed description + images. I knew this was the place to go even though it was over an hour from my location. I called immediately to make an appointment and to my disappointment he didn't have an opening in the time I needed, hung up very disappointed. After trying to find someone else unsuccessful I called Dan back and asked if he could call me if someone canceled. Instead he said to come by that day and he would work on my car throughout the next day or two between other clients. I was stoked and told him I was on my way. He had my car done in just a few hours, didn't even have it the whole day. This is what small business is all about. Superior service, way better prices, and great turn around. Application and durability of the tint I chose is phenomenal. I say this because two days after having my windows tinted my car was vandalized. Someone drew on my windows with a sharpie! It took some elbow grease but it came off and my windows still looked good as new. It's been about 6 months and they are still perfect!! They only take car appointments on Tues, Wed or Thurs so I had to leave work for a couple of hours, but it's worth it. There is a reason Dan has so many 5 star reviews. He is awesome! Bought my new Jeep Cherokee and needed tint. Dan is a 2 man shop so I had to wait a bit for my appointment. It was worth the wait. My jeep had factory smoked windows except for the driver and passenger side. Dan went over all my options and explained the tint darkness and probability of getting pulled over. Originally I was going to go darker on the back windows and match the tint on the passenger and drivers windows to that. He suggested just to do the 2 windows to match the tint currently on the back. WHO DOES THAT? I mean, it saved me about $200. Well, Dan does. He said I can always go darker if it doesn't work for me. He also suggested I tint the windshield but only when it gets replaced, which of course in AZ WILL happen. LOL. Anyhow, I highly recommend this business.
