I called him in the middle of August to find out the status. He had to call me back and told me that fabric was on back order and just came in. He put a rush on it but I will have the tuxedo for the wedding. I have never heard of any manufacture that will not offer a different material as a replacement??? Lets face it he forgot to order it. He then calls in Sept. informing me the tuxedo will not be ready for the wedding. I told him to just make sure I had the tuxedo for my sons wedding on Dec 11 2021. I had to wear an old tuxedo to my nieces wedding. It was embarrassing. In Oct. I was told the Tuxedo was in. I went for a fitting and could not believe the tuxedo was about 3 sizes to small. He said he didn't know how this happened and took my measurements again. On Nov 18. I once again went for a fitting. The tuxedo was nice but needed some minor adjustments and the satin stripe down the legs were not put on. I went yesterday and the stripe was still not put on the pants. I am 9 days away from my sons wedding. He added the stripe and brought the tuxedo to my house last night. He put the tuxedo in a garment bag that had a horrible stench to it. He had to smell it when he put the Tuxedo in, but he did it anyway. The tuxedo picked up the smell. Luckily my wife had a spray that took the smell out. What kind of person does something like that. A sincere apology would have been nice. Never given. How about here is a bow tie on me. The last thing I need is another bow tie. I not the point, it's the Act. How about I know you been back and forth more that you should have. I have an espresso for you. Again I don't need a cup of coffee. It the gesture. Four and a half months to get my Tuxedo from him. We are having a destination wedding and Guy and his team were quick to t the best suits in house that looked good and were lightweight for the beach. My fiancé's custom suit looks AMAZING and fits perfectly. All my groomsmen's suits AND shoes arrived early and fit perfectly, aside from some length alterations in the pants that the NYM team was quick to provide. All the alterations turned out perfectly, and I am so happy that this part of our wedding was so stress free. i am so excited to see the suits on the beach at our wedding. As in every TJ Maxx, you'll find some good products but also lot of low quality stuff, t-shirts with their collars stretched out, etc. One thing that annoys me when I visit this location (which doesn't happen at the nearby Bayonne, NJ location) is that when I want to try something on they have me hang the stuff, count, and once I'm done they repeat the same process again. I understand this process if I'm holding multiple items, but sometimes I have just 2 and they can clearly see I'm holding 2 items, but they work like robots. Also, they charge for that low quality paper bag if you need one (the Bayonne location doesn't). So, just to summarize, if you want questionable quality clothes for a good price this is a store I recommend. But if you want long lasting clothes that will survive multiple washing cycles, that will fit well, be very thorough if you're getting them here and try them carefully before purchasing or spend a little more at a higher quality store.

Being called a "coat factory", yet having such a poor way to hang and display the coats is simply inexcusable. They put all of the men's coats in the center of the store, all on one level and easy to access, nothing to reach up for. Yet all of the women's coats and jackets are crammed and shoved into a small area, stacked vertically, so a shorter or even an average size woman has zero ways to even look at the coats, let alone to take one off the rack. They also shoved an enormous number of female coats into an area that simply can't hold that many coats at all. So you can't comfortably look at them, even if you are a tall woman! All this cramming caused many of the coats to fall to the floor, making it just a "nice" presentation.... Whoever is running this store is completely incompetent and needs to be fired!

I…read moreordered my dress at the end of January with the other matron of honor and at that time I was 15 pounds heavier (recently had twins). I had tried on a size 8 which was a bit snug on the hips. Granted I needed a bigger size and the woman had suggested I get a size 14. I didn't feel comfortable with that so I said I'd like to purchase a size size 12 and she was ok with that too. All was going well until I went to pick up my dress in July and it was low and behold a size 14. I tried on the dress and it was literally hanging off of my body. I expressed to the woman I wanted a new dress. She said "IVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR 40 YEARS. You don't need a new dress." She then asked me where I was getting fitted and I had said that someone that worked there was recommended by your staff, she immediately shook her head no. So that being said, I walked out completely mortified. Instead of finding a solution I was pushed out the door. I had a dress 4 times too big which was completely open back, full of glitter and embellishments that I couldn't wear. I found a wonderful seamstress who was appalled by how big my dress was and had said they've should have ordered a size 10 at tops. She cut and took in as much as she could off the dress without altering the look of the dress but it still doesn't fit like a glove like it's supposed to. The other matron of honor NEVER RECEIVED HER DRESS! We called every other week since July and was always told it would be in the following week. Well it never came and there was no explanation or solution except "here's your money back". Good luck. She had to find this gown 3 weeks before the wedding elsewhere. Here I am 3 days before the wedding with a dress that is still too big. $560 for the gown : plus the amount I needed to reconstruct my dress is just truly outrageous. I'm hoping whoever reads this review never steps foot in there ever again because I will never give Ivory and Company my business ever again.
