We were required to order bridesmaid dresses 8 months in advance, which already felt unusual. After ordering, I found out I'm pregnant and the wedding will be when I'm about 5 months along, so I called the store to ask if I could simply change the size since the dress hasn't even arrived yet. The dress is from a designer whose website shows 8-9 week shipping for special orders yet the store insisted the process takes 8 months. At first I was told the bride requested the dresses early, which wasn't true. Later they changed the explanation and said their shipping takes longer than the designer's... even though that is who they place their orders through so makes absolutely no sense. After speaking with the bride, she was also told that we had to order before December because of upcoming tariffs that would supposedly increase the price. However, the dress is currently the exact same price to order today, which makes that explanation confusing as well. The bride also mentioned to the consultant during ordering that some bridesmaids could potentially be pregnant, but later I was told that if the bride had specifically said that someone is trying to get pregnant, they would have advised ordering a larger size. Apparently the wording needed to be extremely specific in order to receive that guidance. Despite the dress not even being in my possession yet or theirs, I was told I would have to purchase an entirely new dress and could not change the size or receive any credit. I understand bridal items can be final sale, but the inconsistent explanations and lack of flexibility were really disappointing especially given the circumstances. I wish there had been more honesty and willingness to help. I would absolutely never give these people my business and if you're thinking about it BEWARE. They will rip you off and try to manipulate you with zero remorse. Might I add the wedding is still 5 months away

This was the second bridal shop I went to looking for a dress and Jacquie was unique in listening to what I liked and didn't like in dress styles, and taking my words into consideration as she thought of other dresses to have me try on. The first time I went after several dresses, Jacquie gave me the Maggie Sottero Gretchen dress which was the one I ended up choosing. I went to a couple other stores to see my other options within my price range and after a week, went back to Jacquie and got the dress! Not only does she have an amazing eye for choosing a dress based on feedback, she is also a phenomenal seamstress. The dress I chose was a size 12 (sample dress) and I am a size 6. Jacquie took the dress in and after two fittings, the dress was perfect and ready to go! She shortened the dress while I wore my wedding shoes and checked in with me if I liked it and what I would like changed while I was looking in the mirror. She also used the extra fabric from the bottom of the dress since I did not want a train to make a jacket and connected it to the strapless dress as I asked. It was perfect. She always responded to phone calls and was ready on time for each of my appointments. I even went on a day that there was a snowstorm and emailed to confirm that I was still coming, she said as soon as she saw my email, she got ready and was at the shop to greet me in the snowy weather. Jacquie was knowledgeable, talented, professional, timely, and really listened to what I was looking for in a dress. She is very honest as she wants her customers to be satisfied and does not exaggerate or try to deceive using sales tactics. I would highly recommend her as you are looking for a dress, she had a wonderful selection of elegant and classy bridal and bridesmaid dresses.

She looked at me and said ok go in the dressing room. She came in with five dresses. I was very self conscious to get undressed but she made me feel so at ease, talking to me and making me feel i was important. The first dress was the one. She spent 10 minutes tightening it putting on the veil and head peice. She knew i wanted it ... Instead of rushing me, she continued to put on every dress after that. She also completed each look with the veil and head piece. she spent over a hour even letting me try on the first dress again. I told her i wanted it, she said to think about it no need to rush. i was so scared it would cost a lot but i got it for 1,100!!! A dress that looks at least 5 grand. The veil is absolutley gorgeous and breath taking... i have to say i wish i could relive this moment because this fitting made me excited about planning my wedding... if i had a negative experience i don't think i would of went through with the hall and party. That should've been my first red flag but somehow we let her convince us to pay all cash and absolutely no credit immediately for a $1,000.00 discount on a beautiful gown. Leaving with just a silly paper receipt was another mistake I made. There was no guarantee of delivery and when asked for tracking info, I was ignored. After months of no contact around October I decided to contact her. She ignored me until December saying I would get my dress mid month. I explained that this was unacceptable. I needed to alter my dress and I had been asking for months already. Still no tracking info. I finally decided to reach out to the manufacturer and asked about my order. They called me back the following day and explained that THERE WAS NO ORDER FOR MY DRESS EVER SENT TO THEM. This was NOT the first time they were hearing this about the same shop with the same exact issue. They said they were sending me the dress as a courtesy and i was more grateful than words can describe. I still do not have a dress but I am hopeful that it will arrive since the manufacturer has taken over. As for Dina, the owner I have been lied to over and over. She deserves to be shutdown for being a thief. I am not the only person she has scammed and I promise I will not be her last. I'm not even mad that she showed up for the appt in pajamas, late.. but like let that be a sign. Even the experience in the store was awful. Good luck, please be wary and vigilant. Well, it was time for my first fitting, and I officially haven't seen my dress in a year! My…read moreappointment was scheduled for 5:30PM on a weekday, and it seemed a bit hectic when I arrived with my mother and sister a half hour before. I was asked multiple times if I was the bride and what time my appointment was. I assured them that I knew I was early, and would obviously wait until the prior appointments were done. They told me to take off my coat and take a seat until I could go upstairs to try on my gown. I did as I was instructed, and I waited. 5:39PM I was heading up the stairs with my family following behind me. We went into the fitting room exactly at the top of the stairs, where there was a square pedestal, and two full length walled mirrors. Nothing fancy, and nothing run down; it was a pretty understated dressing room. The woman helping me was being very insistent on me wearing a slip skirt under my gown to give it more poof, but I explained that I am not the princess type, and I wanted to keep it A-lined. Again, multiple times she insisted, and I remained firm. Then, at last once I had the gown on, I said I would try on the skirt underneath to see what the fuss was all about. We were first told it was $140, and then she said it was $150, and she showed us the bag that the skirt was in. I was a little uncertain at first, but everyone makes mistakes. So, since my gown did have bead work at the bottom of the lining, the skirt did what it was supposed to do. The store owner said, "She's not supposed to look like herself; she's special for the day." I agree with the special part, but I don't want to look like a princess if that wasn't my "vision." These women are old-school Italian. If you are not used to this, you will of course hate this experience from the start. They have been in the business for years, and talk to you like a granddaughter or niece. They will not flatter you if you do not look flattering, and I appreciate the brutal honesty. I know alot of these reviews were complaining about alterations pricing. Alterations are FREE for the bride. I am getting my gown taken in at the bust, but at no extra cost! They ordered the correct size for me, and it fit like a glove. I can't gain or lose any more weight at this point. March 19th - Second Fitting!

Most places wouldn't have been able to do that, but Zatsarina's really came through. My first fitting was on August 24th with a second scheduled for September 18th and finally a pickup for October 4th. Gina was so efficient and diligent explaining what needed to be done (take in the shoulder straps, hem, bustle, etc). My first visit was thorough and she explained everything perfectly. All of the alterations would come to $800 (as I had bought off the rack at another boutique). When I came in for my fitting everything was looking great and only a few minor tweaks needed to be made. All in all, a great experience. There was a bit of a hiccup at the end when it wasn't fully ready for my pickup and still needed to be steamed. They made it work and were able to finish it while I waited. I didn't entirely like dealing with her husband but Gina was EXCEPTIONAL. She suggested a video on how to bustle which was super helpful for later. As I mentioned, I had a difficult request with such a quick turnaround time, but I'm so grateful for how everything turned out and how Gina was willing to help and deliver such high quality service.

From the moment you walk into Zatsarina, you're met with kindness and professionalism. The inside is sleek and showcases all of Gina's talents. For my personal tailoring, in terms of a unique situation, I needed sleeves from a jacket placed on a spaghetti strap dress. Then, I needed a bustle added to my dress, tulle taken out of the bottom layers, and a slit added. The fabric of my jacket sleeves were very delicate (covered in beads); and I needed someone who I could fully trust. She delivered. She even hand placed matching beads in spots that were naturally not as crowded, to match the rest of the jacket. Additionally, she hemmed the sleeves of the jacket, so they were perfect. For my bustle, I wanted something that did not create a large bump around my butt, and the way she made the bustle was perfect and almost invisible. (My train was LONG, when bustled, you could not tell there were 14 buttons to make this possible.) It was so easy to connect everything- she showed my MOH a video how to do so too and even encouraged her to record it, which was super helpful dua of. my sister (MOH) was able to do it within a few minutes. Gina's work is perfection. She met with me multiple times to make sure everything was perfect and even provided directions on how to steam the day off. Also, Gina makes custom wedding dresses! Pros: attention to detail & skill Overall, my dress fit perfectly & everything held up. I would highly recommend zatsarina fashion, specifically gina for your most important tailorings. With her attention to detail and skill, you cannot go wrong!
