This also came with another excellent pre-dressed small green salad and good coleslaw: light on the mayonnaise, tangy, and peppery. The wife had the fish and chips and I thought it the best of at least 3 we've had in Ireland. The batter was consistently crunchy, thickness appropriate for the fish, and the portion generous. Again, served with sides of the same green salad and coleslaw, and more mushy peas. I think the wife likes these more than I do. The server was welcoming, the surroundings inviting, and we spent a relaxing 35 minutes or so and, refreshed, continued our walking tour. Sadly didn't get to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding because we had planned on ice cream down the street. Looking at the website just now I see they have rooms upstairs. Maybe the best custom Irish souvenir of our trip! And a bargain at 60 Euros Cash. Gayle and I enjoyed watching him work and I appreciated his no-nonsense approach, first by warning me that if a person that had shown up earlier came back, I would move down the line. He didn't and it helped that I knew and told him exactly what I wanted. Having my previous belt handy helped at 2 stages in the process.
