Their staff is so knowledgeable and great with kids, even those who do not like to sit still for long. Alyssa and Haley have been our absolute favorite instructors thus far, both incredibly talented swimmers and that carries into their instruction. The facility is clean, the locker room has nice space to store your belongings (if needed). Two showers, two private bathrooms, hair dryers and lots of space to get changed. My daughter absolutely loves coming to swim, I'm so happy to have found a place like Five Star. If you are even considering it, just go! Do the trial lesson and I'm sure you will fall in love with this place just like we did.

I called them because they hadn't taken the payment for September and it was now the 12th. I discovered that they were going to charge me for Labor Day even though the school was closed that day. The manager, Daniela A, was very dismissive when I questioned how they could charge for a day they were closed. When I asked for her manager, she hung up on me. I called back to get the contact information for her manager, but Daniela apparently doesn't know who she works for other than "Beth" and couldn't provide anything other than the general email address for the swim school. So, it's a great school as long as you don't have any billing issues.

My one very real complaint is that when they transition from the young toddler to older toddler room( which is usually by age 3.5) there is no designated naptime. It's just cut off. I was told if they are tired they have a rest area. That doesn't work. This is just not acceptable for that age group. Most of these kids are starting their days by 6:30 am or earlier. To go all day long without nap is just crazy. There should be a better way.

This public membership/fee park is a lovely and inexpensive way to relax while you let your kids loose. You are allowed to bring a cooler and picnic foods. I observed some adults tackfully bring their own special blend of "grown up juice"( I must reiterate, VERY TACKFULLY). This pool is very family centered and billgerant or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated here. Use common sense and you will love hanging out here. I enjoyed my afternoon here under the shade of an umbrella. Its well worth the admission. If you are an avid user of the pool, you may want to pay for a membership. You can cross the street and pay for seasonal acess at the rec center.

My kids worked with two different swim coaches who were quickly able to determine what skills my kids had already mastered and hone in on which skills they are ready to start working on. I was very impressed with the fact that they were in the pool for the full 30 minutes of their lesson, unlike other swim schools we've been to in the past. I'm beyond thrilled that this new business has opened in our area!
