Under sad circumstances, it's nice to find a business that meets your needs. A business friend passed away a few weeks ago and her funeral was held in Danville this week. Living and working in San Francisco, I was unable to attend the weekday service so I searched on Yelp for a florist who could put together an arrangement on behalf of my family and me. I called about five days before the service and asked whether they could help me. I am not the type of person to usually write reviews but I a newly engaged bride-to-be. My mother and I are looking for florist for my wedding, we had a date set for March 14th 2022 at 3pm that the florist confimed our appointment via E-mail. We decided to look at this place based on the good reviews we have seen. We traveled from Castro Valley to Danville for this appointment. We arrived at the store at 2:50pm to account for parking. When we arrived, the sign on the door said the store was "CLOSED". I went on to google and it said the store was open 10am to 3pm and after 3pm by appointment only. My mother called the store's number and there was no answer so we left a voicemail, we then proceeded to wait till 3:15pm and still nobody showed up, by this time we still have not recived any call back or email from the florist... I am VERY DISAPPOINTED at the service from this store, We had an appointment reserved and the person we were meeting with DID NOT E-mail, call or message us about if there were any issues with the date of our appointment... So thank you for wasting our precious time and gas money... You just lost a sale read more

I'm giving 3 stars and here's why. I needed flowers delivered to someone in a hospital the next day, and they did it on time. (2 stars) However, the flowers as advertised on their website don't look at all like the flowers received in my opinion (see photos). I know the website photos are supposed to be examples and due to seasonal flower availability arrangements may not look exactly like the photo, but you expect it to look similar. I certainly didn't expect to see a cabbage flower/ornamental cabbage in what was supposed to be an elegant arrangement of lavender and purple flowers. I'd spent a little bit extra to order the "deluxe" version of the arrangement so the total cost with delivery was about $97 and in the end I don't feel like I really got my money's worth. (1 star) That being said, the recipient was happy to have received them and that's what matters most I suppose. read more

Called first thing this morning to order flowers for a business that was reopening today after the long Covid-19 shutdown. Got their voicemail that today was their first day back after a week off, and heard the recording that I could order flowers online. But wasn't sure they'd be able to fill another order with this being their first day back. So I left a detailed voicemail and I went to the website to place order and crossed my fingers that it would get processed today. They called me about an hour later and said they'd gotten my voicemail and saw that I'd placed my order online...and were just letting me know that everything was good and that the flowers should be delivered around 2:30pm! The flowers were delivered a few minutes before 2:30pm and the beautiful arrangement they put together based on my request was perfect and exceeded my expectations! I had a good experience in working with the folks at Danville Florists. I called in to have a FTD bouquet made for a will-call pickup the day before Mother's Day, as mom and dad live in Danville and I would be up to visit. No problem, I took care of it during a break at work. When I came to pick it up, the hardest thing was finding their place. You enter the parking lot for the small engine, tool rental,or whatever shop, and go to the end of the building to find their small little space. Their whole operation is in a space not much larger than a generously sized bedroom. Maybe they're move a delivery operation... don't know. My wife and just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary yesterday, and Danville Florists helped make it an extra special day. At around 3p, I realized I had taken care of all the details (dinner reservations, gift from Tiffany, etc.), but had totally forgotten flowers. I googled for a florist in Danville and sat in my car outside 402 Hartz Ave. thinking I must have the wrong address. Apparently they're sharing the space with an architectural firm, and the firm's receptionist was kind enough to guide me to the back of the office to where the florists work. The owner let me know that they're moving into a new space soon by Lundardi's, which I'm sure will make them easier to find. Anyways, in less than 20 minutes, Danville Florists had arranged the most beautiful bouquet of 25 red roses. Their roses are clearly not the type found at Safeway and I'm sure will last for a couple of weeks. Quality definitely comes at a price, but Danville florists were more than accommodating on my budget and gave me a great deal... helping defray the cost of dinner at Gary Danko and a gift from Tiffany. Thanks again for saving the day, and I look forward to visiting you at your new location the next time I'm in need of flowers. read more
