Just wanted to add a quick update since my first review -- we finally got our car back after two…read moredays, and once again, the A.B. Hadley team came through! On day one, Julie kindly gave us a ride from work to the shop and back (such a lifesaver), and when the repair took a little longer than expected, they set us up with a loaner car. My son and I nicknamed it "Babushka Honda" -- that's "G-ma Honda" in Russian -- because it felt like a cozy little time machine straight to the '90s. We had fun with it! When we picked up our car, everything was done perfectly. They used original or top-quality parts, and the rotors and brake pads even come with a 3-year / 100K-mile warranty -- seriously, who can beat that? Every interaction -- from Trent to Julie and the whole crew -- was professional, kind, and genuine. They treat you like a person, not a number, which is exactly what you want after (or before) a long day at work. Thank you, A.B. Hadley team, for making car care something I can actually feel good about. You guys really are the best!

I'm honestly surprised by the number of 5-star reviews. After my experience, I have a hard time…read morereconciling them with the service I received. I brought my Jeep Grand Cherokee to A.B. Hadley for a major repair. The estimate exceeded $10,000--more than $3,000 higher than the quote I received from the dealership. I was told the repair would take approximately two weeks after the necessary parts were ordered. After several follow-ups, I specifically asked for a firm completion date because my family needed the vehicle for an upcoming wedding. I was assured multiple times that the vehicle would be completed no later than July 9. The staff was aware that this deadline was important to us, and I relied on their commitment when making plans. On July 9--the date I was told the vehicle would be finished "at the absolute latest"--I stopped by the shop expecting to pick up my Jeep or at least receive an update on the final stages of the repair. Instead, I was informed that the vehicle had not even been looked at. No work had been started. After weeks of waiting and repeated assurances, I learned that the repair might not be completed until the end of the following day, if then. Delays happen. Parts issues happen. Staffing issues happen. What is unacceptable is making promises you have no intention--or ability--to keep. Had I been given an honest timeline from the beginning, I could have planned accordingly. Instead, I was repeatedly assured that my vehicle would be completed by a specific date, only to discover that no work had even begun. The difference between a good business and a mediocre one is not whether problems arise; it's how honestly they communicate with their customers. In my business, I don't make commitments unless I intend to keep them. If circumstances change, I communicate that immediately. That's the level of professionalism I expect when I'm spending more than $10,000 on a repair. My advice: get multiple estimates and carefully consider your options. There are plenty of mechanics in the valley. Based on my experience, A.B. Hadley did not deliver on the commitments they made to me, and I would not use them again.
