I've had a problem with my check engine light coming on and going off for over 1 1/2 years. I was taking it to my dealership but they were no help. On my first visit to Tas Chet explained to me what he thought I should do as a first step to solving this problem. Not saying this will solve my problem but I never received any suggestions from my dealership. I will continue to go to Chet and his staff at Tas and would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone read more

Outstanding service. I was from out of town on vacation and my rental car got a slow leak flat on my way to a hike in the mountains. It showed 27 psi on the dashboard in the car. I stopped the car and I could not find a foreign object in tire. Drove back into Ogden, stopped at a local gas station and someone there recommended this store specifically to fix the tire. Drove to this Goodyear passing by other tire shops. Inside this Goodyear another man said he uses this tire shop for 25 years because of the great service. Manager John listened to my story, and efficiently diagnosed and removed a small finishing nail type of foreign object in my tire which the rental car company told me it was my responsibility to fix by contract. John removed the object and patched my tire so I had 400 more miles of trouble free travels to my vacation spots. It meant so much to me to know that this Goodyear store had thoroughly checked that tire and found the nail type object, removed it, fixed it so I was good to go and secure. Not enough stars to thank these people for making me feel safe and doing it right the first time. Thank you to owner Chet. I had safe travels because of John's excellent service. read more

I made an appointment with Tas two weeks out because they were so busy! Take my car in after two weeks of waiting only to be told that the appointment was canceled! I am single widow and the only contact and did NOT cancel the appointment! the "owner" Mark laughed at me and said he didnt know what happened! I needed new tires as was told to me by my fleet company. I called TAS last Tuesday and they told me to come in last Thursday. They told me that my tires would be done by the end of the day. The other services were done on my car but they told me to wait on the tires. So, I needed the tires soon as I would be traveling to Wyoming soon. I asked for them to be done the next day, but they asked me to wait until Tuesday. They promised me they would call me Tuesday and have me come in and they would switch out the tires while I waited. Tuesday came and went. Now it is my day off and it's Friday. I have time now. I call in and the counter salesman named Scott fumbles around trying to find out what happened. I ask to speak to the general manager and he never gets the general manager. He can't get my tires done today on my day off and so he asks me to come in on Monday. I am unable to do so on Monday and so I ask him to do it on my next day off which is Wednesday. It's going to be two weeks before this is going to be done. I mention that to Scott and he begins to argue and try to prove me wrong. He is very confrontational and cuts me off multiple times. He finally gets the general manager and all I hear from him is excuses and blame. He says it's been a holiday week and they are understaffed. Blah blah blah. People don't want to hear excuses when you've made promises to get work done. We are all understaffed and we all had a holiday. He then proceeds to argue that they don't make promises at TAS. Well they did. Just own your crap buddy. He finally starts to take responsibility for their actions and apologizes. Bad service and bad experience. You've done good in the past TAS, but not today. I would have been fine if you just apologized and owned your mistakes. Instead you chose to argue and be very foolish in your customer service. The general manager finally confessed that they are taking on too much work right now. You think? Be honest and ethical boys and don't screw the public by your desire for money and greed!!! read more

We moved to the Ogden area six years ago, and had a go-to shop in our old location that gave us good service on several vehicles for over fifteen years. We weren't looking forward to trying to find another shop that would give us similar results. Our old shop actually recommended TAS, so we gave them a try. In five years they have become our trusted shop for tires and maintenance. They repair our vehicles quickly and correctly, never overcharging or attempting to sell us parts or service we don't need. I should add I've done my own work in years past, including motor rebuilds, brakes, and suspension, so I have some idea of what is required. Most recently I picked up a nail in a brand new tire in a place that could not be repaired. Even with the supply chain issues they managed to find a matching replacement, get it here quickly, and get it installed at a very fair price. They are personable as well. What else can you ask for? There is a reason their service lot is always overflowing. Five stars. read more

Terrible customer service. They will tell you that their "Smart Start" customers are top priority.... That's a lie. We were told "when you get here just pull up in front of bay one or two, you are top priority, we will get you in and out". You will pull up and sit there easily for 20 minutes with employees looking right at you and ignoring you. We watched a mechanic literally pick his nose for five minutes while sitting in a car. They rarely will actually ask what you're there for/how they can help you, you'll have to get out of your car and find someone and ask for help and they are usually rude It's SUPER fun coming here once a month and spending half our day getting our two vehicles done. read more

These people are awesome they take great care of their customers. They do NOT try to upsale or do things that are not needed. They will guarantee their work and answer any and all questions. Their techs are fantastic their front staff are fantastic. I cannot express how much i trust these folks with all our vehicles. My kids now go to them and they take great care of them too. I was driving cross country when my tire pressure sensor light switched on. Long story short I came to find that three of my tires were leaking air at the valve stems. I had just recently outfitted my vehicle with brand new Goodyear Eagle Sport tires only few weeks before at a Goodyear tire and service center in Portland, OR. and was incredibly surprised and disappointed when I began to have this issue. Having to service my tires with air every 50 miles until I reached Ogden, TAS T&A was the closest service center that works under Goodyear TSN (Tire and Service Network) where I pulled in hoping for my car to be seen and serviced, same day and under warranty. The employees, owner, and managers were very helpful and obliging. They programed and replaced my TPMS sensors for all four wheels and got me back on the road within a few hours. They took responsibility for another shops mistake, fixed the issue with a quality assurance I could feel. Very Thankful. Thanks again Brent. read more

I came here because of all the great reviews on Yelp, and have not been disappointed. Each employee at TAS has been helpful and communicative during every visit. It's hard to not feel taken advantage of while getting your car done, but I've had tires replaced, A/C fixed, and a chronic broken blinker FINALLY fixed correctly...and each time, someone took me to the car to show me the problem, explained my options, and did not pressure me to make a specific decision. Even though this happened some years ago, the business is has the same owner so I saw this and decided to chime in. It's proof that bad customer experiences can last forever. Many years before these Covid craze days, I was a long time customer of TAS. I enjoyed the great service and honest advice that I had received. One of the head mechanics (Mike) was a water cooled Volkswagen whiz so I made this my shop of choice and recommended TAS to any friends or family in need of auto repair or maintenance. On my last visit, I had a broken shift linkage, that left the car with 2 gears and virtually impossible to drive. TAS had fixed this issue several times before, not their fault, just poor part durability on VW's end. Normally, it would take an hour tops to fix if the part was available, so I kept my high end aftermarket stereo inside the vehicle when I dropped it off. The part did not arrive so they called me to let me know it would have to be there overnight. I told them about the stereo and asked if they could store my vehicle inside so my items weren't stolen. They did on the first night, and when the part didn't arrive Saturday, my car stayed safe in the garage all weekend. Monday, the part shows up, they fixed it and called me to let me know, however I didn't get the voicemail until after they were closed. For some strange reason, my car was left outside, completely against my request!! It was parked not just outside, but on the East side of the shop, in the perfect place for a break in. It was perfectly hidden away from the traffic of Washington blvd. I got a call on Tuesday morning from the police informing me that my car had been broken into and stereo stolen. The value of my property new was in excess of $3500. Since the stereo was about a year old, I requested that the owner cover just $2000 and provided receipts so he could see I wasn't trying to take advantage of the situation. I thought that sense the theft happened on his property he would do the right thing for a long time customer, but he flatly refused. Even though all signs pointed to an inside job, and there being this little thing called the law, he only offered to pay half my deductible ($1000). Him paying $500 would virtually do nothing for me because my stereo was only covered in my renters insurance policy at my home, not my auto policy. Making a claim would do virtually nothing for me except replace my equipment with a stock stereo, then slap me with higher premiums. I planned to take him to court, but I got a great job out of state and bought another car. Out of sight out of mind. I'm sure that, through the return/future business of myself and my referrals, TAS would've made at least 500% the amount I hoped to be indemnified. I loved Mike's service, but everyone else put a rotten taste in my mouth. l wouldn't trust them to safeguard a pack of gum. Rant over. Choose wisely read more
