He LOVES going to the groomer because he has never once had a negative or stressful experience there. I tried to make a same day appointment last week for my dog to be fully groomed but they said the soonest possible time would be the following week. That was no problem because they're worth the wait. So I made my appointment for the following week but asked the woman on the phone if there was a chance she could just clip my pups nails that day since they were pretty unruly. She said of course. She trimmed Oli's nails that day and said that since he'd be coming in next week to be groomed that I didn't have to pay separately for the nail trim since it's included in the price of the grooming. Both groomers have been so sweet and accommodating to my pup and I. I felt terrible because I was 15 minutes late to Oli's appointment and would've totally understood if they had to reschedule me. Luckily the gal who helped me said that it was okay. These women are phenomenal and really go the extra mile for the dogs and their owners. Even though I was late they still groomed Oli between dogs. It's a win/win my dog gets to hangout with the rest of the dogs while he's getting groomed and I get to pickup a happy clean pup! Plus their prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and care they put into their work! A prime example of an amazing small business with wonderful employees

Above all else, anywhere I take my dog has to be patient and caring and love animals. And they must also be at least reasonably competent. You'd think these two things would almost go without saying and be the norm at most grooming shops. Sadly, I've been to more than a few shops (even a few here in Salem) where that's absolutely not the case. Carrie on the other hand is a second generation groomer with literally decades of experience. And I'm quite certain that on most days she'd actually rather be surrounded by dogs than people. She totally knocks the ball out of the park on both the care and competence fronts. My Callie, a still somewhat skittish rescue that's been with us for several years now, is not at all bashful about telling us how she feels about things or people. She does not like most other dogs. Or baths. Or car rides (weird, right?). But when I tell her it's SPA DAY and that she's going to see CARRIE... she actually gets super excited and makes a beeline downstairs and to the car in the garage. That in itself speaks volumes to me about how she's treated at this shop. We've been there for about fifteen or so "Spa Days" now... once about every six weeks. It's always been outstanding and we've yet to have anything but stellar experiences. Her rates are not the cheapest in town but not ridiculous either. And they are very much in keeping with the quality of work that she performs. If you really care about how your dogs are handled and treated in your absence and how they look when you get them back... you really should give this place a try. They are truly outstanding.

Debbie has been amazing and it's incredible to have seen her business grow from a little shop to now, a whole salon with workers. I appreciate her and everything she's done for my pups, but frankly these past couple of years haven't been great. She's constantly busy, under delivers and the workers just don't outperform Debbie. We've had more negative experiences like issues with haircuts, long wait times and not the greatest customer service from the newer groomers (super passive texts). Just little things add up over time and I just got to the point where I'd rather just part ways and leave with better memories. Super sad but best wishes to all!

She wouldn't let them work on one of her paws. She's never let them work on one of her paws. She shows teeth but they've never reported anything more. It's unfortunate and a little disappointing. They do an alright job. It's super convenient but Moon our german shepherd is always really damp when I pick her up and it's a hit or miss with the proper grooming especially around the potty area where if not done properly can create a mess and the hair matted since our last grooming. Perhaps I shouldn't have asked them to please pay more attention to that area when I dropped them off. It's a bit of a mad house but I appreciated them working with us with Maggy's sensitivity to her paw being worked on.

BUT everyone at Ash Creek are the most kind, caring and empathetic people in the veterinarian profession that we have ever had the good fortune to meet. They all provided such beautiful loving care to our Mango right up to the end...and really beyond..we received personal cards from the doctors, as well as a donation to the Animal Health Foundation in Mango's name ( which I was just today able to read). The receptionist- office staff on the other hand do not display any type of care or warmth. They are abrupt, abrasive and don't even exchange social courtesies. The vets would get 5 stars!
