The person at the desk introduced me to Kim, one of their top personal trainers. I thought, "Oh my God, this woman is soooooo not me". I thought, "Crap, she's gonna kill me". Wrong again. Kim was friendly, she listened and I felt instantly at ease with her. She gave me a routine using machines that she felt I could a handle, based on my ability. She talked about easy ways to eat healthy even when I'm on the run. She gave me tips on how to find time to exercise, even when I'm most busy. She was also helpful in how to find balance between work, family, and health . WHAT A FIND!!! Another annoying occurrence is that it takes weeks/if not months for something to be fixed (example the sensors in the sauna) There is a group of older gentlemen who continuously talk about the saunas/stream baths in their original country of origin. They continuously mess around with the heat sensors at the YMCA claiming the sauna here isn't "hot enough" as it is in their country of origin. They in turn mess up the sauna and put it out of commission for weeks/if not months.

She is reassuring to both dog and owner and has an endless list of training techniques and directions that are very easy to follow and highly effective. We have a 2 year old golden retriever who was showing increasing signs of aggression, resource guarding, and lunging at people and cars as well as other dogs. Within less than a handful of sessions we have seen a remarkable change in behavior and temperament as well as responsiveness to training.
